Fidelia took the last slice of sandwich from her plate and popped it into her mouth. Then she grabbed a cup of juice and drank it down.
"So, where are we going?" she asked.
"First, I'm going to see the Crawford family," she replied. "You guys should head to the company and sort out work. I'll meet up with you once I'm done — though it might take a while."
She stood up and went into her room to change into something nicer. A few minutes later, she came out wearing tight blue jeans and a loose, free-flowing shirt. Her hair was neatly tied back into a ponytail.
Together, Fidelia, Mia, and Sarah left the house and headed to the garage where the cars were parked. Mia was about to unlock the same red car they had taken that morning when Fidelia quickly spoke up.
"No, no, no — no way! That car has scarred me. Let's go with something different," she said, raising her hands.
Her eyes landed on a sleek black Jeep parked in the corner. "Hmm… how about the Jeep? She looks flashy."
She grabbed the keys from the wall rack and tossed them to Mia with a grin.
"Hop in guys I can't wait to try these bad boys" Sarah said with excitement overflowing from her eyes that they almost saw her eyes pop out.
Fidelia and Mia took the back seat and sat beside the windows.
'Indeed money was good' Despite coming from a wealthy family Fidelia was deprived of a lot of things so she didn't enjoy the benefits of being a Crawford at all.
She was given the post of small branch manager of an abandoned store with a share of 5% in the Crawford Corporation. Well that's expected being the adopted daughter of the Crawford family. After working extremely hard for years she was promoted to being the general manager.
Quite below her younger sister who was the Chief Operating Officer (COO) with a 25% shares in the company.
The humiliation and shame she had to bear was enough to traumatise her.
"Did you bring the documents from the office?" Fidelia turned her eyes to Mia and asked.
"Yeah. I couldn't afford to forget we can't have the CEO of Topnotch Investments Company being the General Manager of the Crawford Corporation…make sure you shove it down their faces" Mia said with determination on her face handed the documents to her.
"Sure. Will you follow me to witness it?" Fidelia asked.
"Can I?" Mia's eyes brightened
"No" Fidelia sharply replied killing her hopes immediate.
"Shit!" Mia tossed her head back to the head rest and Fidelia barked a laugh by the scene.
Meanwhile Sarah had started the car and was enjoying driving the car more than anyone thought and she was by far the best moment for her.
Fidelia took her phone and dialed Andrian's number.
"Oh hey love you are awake" Andrian said through the phone.
"Andrian where are you?" Fidelia ignore him and went straight to the point swiftly wondering if he had done spoken to the doctor.
"Where am i? So that's the first thing you say to the person that saved your life..you know that makes me sad" Andrian teased.
"Would you.." Fidelia wanted to blast him but she calmed her self down took a few breaths and rephrased her words.
"I heard about what you did. Jumping to save me and all…thank you for that" She said sincerely, death scared her alot considering the fact that she had died before and she was doing what ever it takes not to die such tragically again.
"You know I was expecting a more of 'Thank you I owe you my life' kind of apology but I'll take this since it's a call" Andrian replied and Fidelia deeply exhaled not in relief but trying to dissolve her frustration.
"Now for where I am" Andrian's voice deepened and his tone changed. "You should be able to guess by now"
"Andrian you don't have to bring the doctor to this I'll explain everything to you"
"Alright then explain to my why jumped down from a bridge attempting sucide" Andrian spat back and Fidelia went silent.
"You are interrupting here actually the doctor was about covering that part. When I'm done dealing with him I'll come back to your explanation."
"And oh Fidelia you are going to have to explain strongly what your USB was doing in April's system unit"
