Chapter 101 - Chapter 101: Boa Hancock's Ordeal

Chapter 101: Boa Hancock's Ordeal

A few days later, it was time for the final farewell.

Roy and Toki held each other for a long, tight hug before they finally let go. He picked a deserted spot, then quietly slipped out to sea at that moment.

'Warning, two minutes until the next chaotic time travel.'

That warning had been echoing in his head for twenty eight minutes straight, repeating every minute, even more annoying than the alarm clock he used back in the city in his previous life.

"Well then… goodbye."

Two minutes later, a dazzling light burst out, and the place where Roy had been standing was empty.

At that same instant, Toki clearly felt her Devil Fruit respond again.

"1520?"

She looked around, smiling faintly. "Then let's go to the future."

With the Time Time Fruit flowing through her once more, Toki stepped into a journey toward the future.

Above the island, a white cloud drifted slowly. Yet no matter how the wind moved, it never left the sky over this place.

The thundercloud Homie, Horus, stared down in amazement. As expected of Master, he could even cross time itself.

And…

What kind of nonsense was it that a couple could cross time like this?

On a winter island in the Grand Line, Charlotte Linlin led her fleet ashore. She was in a rare burst of joy today because her doctors had found a cure for her food cravings.

What she did not know was that Roy had already left that era.

Grand Line, Marineford, Navy headquarters.

Naval Academy, registration office.

Young Tsuru stood in a long line, waiting to fill out forms and take the entrance test later.

Behind her was an extremely noisy guy from East Blue. He kept bragging that he had beaten a tiger as a child, then ridden it triumphantly into the distance while carrying a water pipe and a treasure chest.

Tsuru just smiled politely. Thinking about Roy, she no longer felt like anything that boy said was strange.

Right now, for some reason, that Monkey guy was getting beaten up by Sengoku, who was also waiting to register. Apparently it was because of some agreement between Roy and Sengoku…

That Monkey fellow was seriously unlucky.

On the other side of Tsuru, in the middle of another long queue, a purple haired boy waited eagerly. He kept looking around as if searching for someone.

"Brother Roy, you really are not coming?"

Fourteen year old Zephyr scanned the crowd with a dejected look.

Over the last few years, Roy had done far more than just beat up Garp personally. He had been chased by Tsuru, fought Sengoku, made Sengoku owe him money, saved Zephyr, and even beaten Zephyr up again on the side.

This was basically the peak life of a childhood transmigrator.

"You know him?" Tsuru looked over the moment she heard Roy's name.

"Ah, hello. My name is Zephyr. Brother Roy saved me before."

Zephyr was a good kid. He only mentioned the rescue, not the part where Roy had flattened him.

After all, he was a righteous young man who had wanted to be a hero since childhood.

"Do you know where he went?" Tsuru asked hurriedly.

"I do not know. How could Brother Roy tell me something like that…" Zephyr shook his head helplessly. He had even been beaten up when he tried to invite Roy into the Navy.

"Where did you go…" Tsuru stared at the floor, lost in thought, and shuffled forward with the line.

"Your turn, little girl. Here is the form…"

"Ah, thank you…"

Tsuru took the form quickly and started filling it out.

Time was supposed to be nothing more than a measure for how things develop, invisible and untouchable, and absolutely not something you could travel through.

But after crossing the time actually happened, Roy's ability to accept madness had shot through the roof. Strategy systems, time leaps, other bizarre junk, none of it shocked him anymore.

Drifting through the mysterious river of time, Roy floated along. Unlike Toki, who could choose a time and place, his jumps were completely random.

Luckily, he never traveled backward.

Otherwise who knew what kind of supernatural mess that would cause?

Sea Circle Calendar, 1505.

Grand Line, Sabaody Archipelago.

Inside a human auction house.

An auction manager stood onstage, facing nobles from various World Government member nations and several Celestial Dragons sitting below. His voice was high with excitement as he presented their "goods."

"Clap clap."

He brought his hands together, and two female staff members pushed three pitiful little girls onto the platform.

"Have you ever heard of the Amazon Lily in the Calm Belt? It is a land made entirely of women, known across the seas as the Land of Women."

"But we are…"

Before he could finish, someone rudely cut him off.

"Shut up and get to the point. How many Berries?" a fat man in a transparent bubble helmet barked, sniffling as he slapped his thigh.

Not a single noble or staff member dared to interrupt him. The moment they realized he meant to buy, everyone lowered their heads and looked away from the girls.

A Celestial Dragon.

In truth, every world has its own "Celestial Dragons," an elite class like them. Some are low key. Some are clever.

But in the One Piece world, this ugliness was put on full display, foolish and loud.

And yet they had ruled at the peak of power for eight hundred years, so they clearly had the capital and the hidden cards to be this arrogant.

"No matter how many Berries, I want all three sisters. Guards, take them away."

The Celestial Dragon stood up, his eyes landing on the prettiest of the three with a wicked grin.

Several days later.

On the Red Line, Mary Geoise, in a prison reserved for Celestial Dragon slaves.

Inside a dark cell, young Boa Hancock huddled in the corner, trembling.

She clutched her black hair, deep blue eyes locked on the strip of light under the door.

I want to go back to Amazon Lily…

She had been wrong. She never should have sneaked onto that ship.

The outside world was too dangerous.

But apparently the filthy Celestial Dragon who bought her wanted to use her and her two sisters for "entertainment." Ever since they were dragged here, he had not done anything strange to Hancock or her sisters.

Each day, other slaves brought them water to wash.

"Hmph."

Hancock scowled and knocked the basin over.

She was not washing. She wanted to stay grimy and ugly.

If she was clean and fair skinned…

That would only make things worse.

Her smooth forehead had been dusted over on purpose. She had even smeared mud around her delicate eyes. Dirt covered her straight nose and the fine bridge beneath it.

Hancock was only twelve, yet she was already the most beautiful girl her age back in Amazon Lily, adored by countless older women.

She knew exactly what she looked like.

"Creak."

The cell door opened.

A guard stepped in. "Boa Hancock, come out."

Hancock shrank deeper into the corner, shaking with fear.
