Chapter 5 - Chapter 1179: Earth chicken and clay dog

The appearance of Aoki gave the two teams a sense of joy, like the sun shining after the rain and finally seeing a rainbow.

"Lady Florges, Grass-type! Grassy Terrain, heal them." Aoki said to Lady Florges. They nodded in approval to the two captains.

Being able to withstand the attacks of two Elite Four level trainers for five minutes, even when they were ambushed, the League Elite truly deserved the title!

Seeing Aoki's arrival, coupled with the Grassy Terrain that appeared on the ground, the three team members who were still awake but exhausted collapsed to the ground.

After receiving treatment from Lady Florges, some of their more obvious injuries were quickly healing.

"Summon your Pokémon back, Lady Florges will give them emergency treatment." Aoki said, slowly walking in front of them.

The two captains were also somewhat excited.

One of the captains said, "Lord Aoki, there are many of them, let us help you."

Calling someone who was obviously much younger than themselves "Lord" did not feel unacceptable to them. On the contrary, they felt very comfortable calling him that.

With Aoki's appearance, they were practically safe for the day.

Hearing his words, Aoki shook his head.

He glanced at their injuries and their Pokémon, each with different wounds.

"Now! Immediately! Right now! Take your Pokémon to get treatment. I'm taking over here. That's an order!" Aoki's expression was serious, and his words were very firm.

But the two captains liked this way of giving orders.

Ignoring their injuries, they immediately stood at attention, saluted, and shouted in unison, "Yes, sir!"

Then, the two of them directed their Pokémon, limping and helping each other to sit down on the grassy field.

The increase in the number of Pokémon didn't pose much of a problem for Ms. Florges. She waved her hands, and the green, crystalline energy on the grassy field appeared even faster.

It merged into the wounds of the trainers and their Pokémon, quickly helping them recover.

Aoki's appearance made the members of Team Magma and Team Aqua hesitant to make any rash moves.

Because Tyranitar and his team were watching them closely.

If they dared to make any move, Tyranitar and his team would definitely attack immediately.

Aoki calmed the group down and approached the Pokémon.

He glanced at the eight members of Team Magma and Team Aqua not far away.

  Two teams...

  were they joining forces again?

"You're Aoki?!" exclaimed Team Magma's captain, McCree.

Aoki raised an eyebrow. "What? You recognize me?"

Hearing Aoki acknowledge his identity, the initial wariness of both Team Magma and Team Aqua vanished, replaced by a frenzied greed.

Team Aqua's captain, Kevin, licked his dry lips and grinned, saying, "It really is you. Your head is worth a fortune."

The return of Izumi and Fire Village had highlighted Aoki's role, and the League had consistently emphasized that the Hoenn twins—Maxie and Archie—hadn't underestimated him.

They'd even issued a bounty: anyone who could take Aoki's head would receive a huge reward.

Such a reward was tempting even to Elite Four level trainers like McCree and Kevin.

Hearing this, Aoki laughed, pointing to his head and saying, "Here's my head. Try and take it if you dare."

His expression changed faster than flipping through a book, instantly turning cold.

Even with two Elite Four level trainers and six trainers Elite level, it had no effect on Aoki.

Two people who weren't even officially Elite Four members. Utterly useless.

  "Tyranitar, raise a sandstorm!"

  Aoki commanded Tyranitar.

Tyranitar—hearing this, Tyranitar, which had been suppressing its ability, immediately released its control.

This was underground, filled with rubble and dirt.

Under Tyranitar's control, sand burst forth from the cracks in the rubble and from the dirt.

In the blink of an eye, yellow sand filled the entire tunnel, except for the area behind where Florges was.

Aggron and Swampert were unaffected by the sand.

Drapion's armor was extremely tough; even the sand didn't cause it much damage.

Blaziken erupted in flames, enveloping it in a layer of golden fire. Before the sand even reached it, it was already being scorched by the flames, rendering any subsequent impact relatively ineffective.

Under Tyranitar's active control, the sandstorm intensified, making it nearly impossible for the Team Magma and Team Aqua members to see Aoki in the distance; they could only make out a few blurry figures.

The two team leaders' Pokémon fared relatively well; although the sand stung, they managed to endure it. However, the other team members lacked the same resilience.

Tyranitar's sandstorm was like a sifting wave, sweeping away the weak and leaving only the strong. Their initial numerical advantage vanished instantly.

Aoki's eyes glowed with a faint blue light, his psychic perception and telepathy activated simultaneously.

The sandstorm had no effect on him;he commanded the battle using telepathy.

Once the sandstorm was fully underway, Tyranitar and Aggron charged into the sand.

Thump—thump—the sound of heavy footsteps accompanied the thud of fists colliding with bones.

This environment was Tyranitar and Aggron's home turf.

Under Aoki's command, the two Pokémon's fists pulsated with different energy fluctuations.

They attacked the weaker Pokémon first.

Almost every attack was a one-punch kill; without exception, few Pokémon could withstand a single punch from Tyranitar and Aggron.

Swampert and Blaziken suffered the same fate.

With their current strength, their opponents were simply not in the same league.

Drapion burrowed underground, attacking the Pokémon from below.

It was a completely one-sided battle.

"Gather together! Gather together! Don't let us be picked off one by one! Pfft—Ptooey! Ptooey! Ptooey!" At this moment, McCree, having finally reacted, shouted loudly.

His mouth had barely opened when it was filled with a large amount of yellow sand.

The bewildered Team Magma and Team Aqua members all moved closer to their two captains.

Upon closer inspection, they discovered that eight people and nearly fifty Pokémon had suffered more than half their losses!

Except for the two captains' Pokémon, which were still intact, the rest of the group's Pokémon had been mostly defeated.

McCree and Kevin's faces were extremely grim.

Wasn't it said that Aoki wasn't very strong, at most only at the early Elite Four level?

Wasn't it said that he was a breeder, and his combat abilities weren't strong?

  What a load of rubbish!

McCree and Kevin's minds raced, trying to think of a way to counterattack.
