Two days later~
It's finally the day. I am going to the academy today. "I am soo nervous", I said to myself.
It is currently 7 am. And I normally don't wake up this early. But I was so nervous to even sleep and I have to leave in 2 hours.
My bags were packed by April even though I said I could do it myself. And well the size of the luggage I am taking is concerning. April and mom were in this together. Packing everything they thought I would need. I mean do I even need winter clothes when it is literally scorching hot?
I went to the dining room to eat my breakfast after being called by April. I really wish I could take April with me to the academy but mom said it is not allowed to take servants to the academy.
I was eating quietly when mom said," Estelle, are u sure we packed everything u need?".
Everything I need? Half of the things are what I am not sure I am gonna use. I said," mom, it's more than enough. U packed everything I can need".
Dad said," it seems we cannot come with you. The alpha king has asked for a meeting with the pack members." He looked apologetic.
I said,"it's no worries. The driver is gonna drop me off and I can go to the academy alone". Mom said," we are sorry dear".
I told them it was okay.
I mean it's even better they are not coming. I can snoop around to see the main characters. Not sure I will see them but I can try.
We finished with our breakfast. and mom came to spend time with me. Dad wanted to as well but since they will be leaving for work, he had to make preparations.
"Remember to always wear the pendent, okay? I am concerned for you. The academy could also bring harm to you if you are not careful", my mother said. She has been reminding me how dangerous the academy is since yesterday. Well she and dad has already been to the academy studying there so they must know how dangerous it is.
But I already know about how dangerous the academy is since I have read the novel.
"Mom, don't worry. I will be careful", I said reassuring her. She relaxed a little after hearing me.
We chatted for a bit and it was now time for me to go. My mom and dad escorted me to the car. I said my goodbyes and the car started.
I looked at my them through my window and waved at them which they returned. Well dad was a bit awkward but it's okay. He is trying really hard to be affectionate, i chuckled,"I have got a really stiff dad now".
Soon I could not see them anymore. I relaxed on my seat. I asked the driver," how long will it take to get to the academy".
"It will take about six hours. It will be evening by then", he replied.
I nodded my head. Six hours is a long time maybe I will just take a nap till then. I sighed and closed my eyes and I was really tired so I drifted to sleep fast.
THUD!
I woke up when the car suddenly stopped. I looked through the window and saw a vehicle which almost looked like a taxi. I mean it was looking suspicious.
The car infront had hit another vehicle which made the sound. "Sorry about that, maam",the driver apologized. " It's okay, it's not really your fault".
The drivers from the two vehicles which just collided were having quite a heated argument. I almost feel bad for whoevers in the car right now.
My driver started the engine again and started passing the collided cars from the sides.
Just then I saw something through the window of the rundown car.
"Wait, stop!", I shouted. "Huh", my driver was shocked by my sudden outburst. "I said, stop the car", I shouted again.
He looked confused but did as i said. He parked the car to the side. I went out of the car and started walking towards the collided cars which now had a large dent.
The arguing men noticed me approaching them. They were asking what I was doing there and something about it's none of my business what they were doing.
But my focus was not on them but rather the one person sitting inside the rundown taxi. It was a woman with dark hair and her face was turned away from me.
But I had saw her when I was passing by. Those emerald green eyes shining so beautifully with a fiery stare. And her face so gorgeous that even I almost feel in love.
I approached the car and knocked on the window. The window rolled down and she stared at me and asked,"can I help you?".
I smiled and said,"no but rather you seem to be in a problem right now. If you want you can come with me. Our destination's the same".
She looked confused for moment but then noticed the badge I had on. And she realised what I was talking about.
She said,"I would really appreciate it then". And she smiled. Boy,her smile is literally the prettiest.
She asked me to wait while she give the money to the driver. She walked back and came to me.then I took her with me to my car and sat with her.
"I am really grateful for your help. I didn't know what to do since that was the only cab available right now".
"No, it's okay. It's my pleasure". It really was my pleasure cause I had just hit the jackpot.
