I ran around all over the ground wagging my tail. I was so happy I finally got to live my dream.
Transitioning wasn't so painful but when my bones started bending it was weird to look. But well now it looks cool.
Seeing my excitement, dad left me alone to have my moment. I tried various tricks like jumping high and growling and I couldn't believe those sounds were coming from me. After a while I grew tired from all that running around and eventually decided to head to my room.
I couldn't transition back to human form in the training ground as my clothes ripped when I transitioned to my wolf. I walked towards my room in my wolf form and it seems like everyone recognises me in my wolf form. Must be a werewolf thing.
I reached my room and transformed back to a human. Don't ask me how. As dad said it's all about the feeling.
'it's almost natural now after a few hours'
I went to my bathroom and took a long shower. It was almost evening now. I changed to comfortable clothes and just layed down on my bed. I didn't sleep or nap, I was just looking up at the ceiling.
'It's only been 5 to 6 days since I became Estelle but I have become comfortable now, am I gonna be here forever', I had all these thoughts in my head. Then I noticed something on my table.
The wildflower I found a few days ago.
It has been 5 days since I plucked it. It still hasn't died or dried. It's looking fresh as ever. I had thought it would dry and I would maybe use it as a bookmark or something but it appears to be fresh still which is weird.
But well this is an alternative world where werewolves exist so this shouldn't surprise me. I will probably see a lot of weird things in the academy too.
'The academy', it's where the original story starts. And I will meet the main characters there. Although I would like to see them, I absolutely have no intention to be involved with any of the main characters. As I have already mentioned there are many dangerous things going on around them and although main characters do not die, the side characters are absolutely gonna die. Well it has war elements, political issues or whatever.
And I am now the daughter of one of the important persons in a pack, the beta who works under the direct command of the alpha. So I should better not get involved with the main characters. I will just see the storyline from afar.
Just then a knock came to my door snapping me out of my thoughts. A voice came through the door," Estelle, it's me. Can I come in?". It's mom.
I said," come in, mom". The door opened and she came in. She said," how did your training with your dad go? Is he pushing you too hard?".
She is such a sweetheart. She is so worried about me.I said," no, he is not pushing me or anything. I also wanted to train. And today I transitioned into a werewolf, it was so cool". I had gotten comfortable with them in just a few days.
It's because they both are such warm people. Dad may look like a cold man at first but he is just a little strict and worried about her daughter. Strict men tend to get misunderstood.
She said, " I am glad u have such a positive attitude. Now I have come here to give you something". I asked her what it was.
She told me to turn around and I did. She then put a pendent around my neck. It was a blue coloured one matching my eyes.
I said," it's pretty. Thanks mom". She said," you are welcome. But it is not just an accessory. It is supposed to protect you. The academy may sound peaceful from outside but it is very different inside. There are many dangerous things lurking around. This pendent has was given to us by a seer. She said it will be useful later on. Maybe she was talking about now".
Oh right there are seers too. Seers are werewolves too but they have the ability to see the future. so often they are called saints of the werewolves. But did the seer know I would possessed this body in the future?
Well even if they had, the could not change it. Seers are not supposed to interfere with the future events. Maybe I should meet a seer to ask about my situation. Maybe they would know how I possessed this body.
I will think about it after going to the academy. There is a future event involving a seer, I will ask about my situation at they time. But now I should just focus on this mother-daughter time.
I said,"mom, let's have tea together". She laughed and said," yeah, it's been a while since we had a mother-daughter bonding time".
We chatted for almost an hour. And she then went to her room. She is almost like a friend than a mother. She reminds me of my own mother, if my mother was alive she would just have been like her now. Estelle's mom and dad are awfully similar to my own mom and dad.
Well no use thinking about the past. I have to make myself ready to go the the academy. I am leaving in two days.
I can't believe it still. Although I am happy to be able to see the main characters, I am not thrilled to go to the academy. Who even likes school? I will have to study, won't I? And I would have to attend classes.
Ugh never thought I would go to an academy even after my graduation. I was quite smart studies but I had never been good in physical activities as my life as Lara. Though now that I am in Estelle's body, I feel it is much better but I am still worried.
Whatever everything will be okay.
