"Was everything I saw before fake? Malfoy?" the male student asked, somewhat panicked. His short, curly black hair was covered in sweat, suggesting the great shock he had experienced earlier, or perhaps it was just from running too fast.
At the time, he had almost immediately thrown down the book and fled the library as if his life depended on it, not caring how many bookshelves and other students he bumped into. Then, he found Malfoy in the common room, warming himself by the fireplace. Malfoy was their backbone, and he wanted to get a negative answer from him.
But he hadn't even clearly explained what the problem was.
The fire in the fireplace was burning fiercely, and the leaping flames made their faces glow red.
"What were you looking at?" Pansy's small face leaned in, asking curiously.
"What are you talking about?" Malfoy frowned, a hint of doubt on his face, but in his heart, he had already guessed what had happened. It was faster than he had anticipated.
"It seems Slytherin students still love to study and like to visit the library," he thought silently, but his face still showed a confused expression.
"Come with me." The male student grabbed his wrist, wanting to pull Malfoy up from the chair and rush to the library to verify whether what he had seen was real or false.
"I can walk myself, Release!" Malfoy used his other hand to tap his wand lightly, then shook off his grip and rotated his wrist a few times before saying, "I find it hard to imagine what could make you so distraught. I remember you're not usually so timid. What? Did you find some novel dark magic in the library?"
Malfoy said with a teasing tone, clearly doing it on purpose.
"Dark magic?" Hearing this slightly taboo term, the other Slytherin students resting in the common room suddenly swarmed over, their eyes fixed on the male student.
"No, no, not dark magic." Seeing so many people suddenly surrounding him, the male student began to stammer, unsure how to explain. His intuition told him that if the secret he saw was real, then the consequences would not be good if so many people knew at the same time.
"Then let's go take a look together, and see what dark magic scared you so much." Malfoy waved his hand, and everyone present walked out of the common room in a mighty procession, a truly spectacular sight.
"No, don't, don't do this." The male student looked at the group of students with great interest in horror. He felt that he might have made a big mistake and wanted to refuse, but he was still crowded and carried away.

"Nonsense." Malfoy said confidently beside the bookshelf, but the wand in his trembling hand betrayed his emotions: panic and fear.
"It's not easy being an actor," he sighed inwardly, but on the surface, he still maintained this posture, making himself appear bewildered and trying to restrain himself.
"Tell me, what are you plotting, daring to fabricate such a ridiculous lie, slandering the great... You-Know-Who?" Malfoy's hand suddenly stopped trembling, and he quickly raised it. In a flash, the wand in his right hand was directly pointed at the male student's throat. His light gray eyes stared coldly at the student in front of him, as if a lost soul was about to be born in the Hogwarts library at any moment.
The other students were silent, and no one dared to step forward to stop him.
"I didn't, I swear!"
"I also think it's fake,
That's why I came to you for confirmation!" Faced with the threat of death (as he perceived it), the male student's voice began to weaken, his legs trembled Constantly shaking, and he repeatedly reiterated that he had only accidentally discovered the book and expressed his attitude.
"You should be glad that there are so many people here today," Malfoy said faintly, wiping the wand after retracting it from his throat.
The Slytherin student felt as if he had just walked through the gates of hell. Cold sweat had soaked the robe on his back. He just wanted to breathe a sigh of relief and secretly cursed himself for being so foolish as to ask this question. It would have been better to pretend he didn't know anything.
Some secrets are really better left unknown.
"Today, we never came to the library, right?" Malfoy narrowed his eyes, scanning the onlookers. The people being stared at felt their hearts beating faster and faster.
"I've been in the dormitory all day. I have to go back and do Professor Flitwick's homework." A tall, thin student hurriedly patted his head, showing a dazed expression, and then squeezed out of the crowd in a hurry.
"I should be doing my Potions homework now..."
"I've been training on the Quidditch pitch all the time..." Everyone said one after another, and then scattered like birds and beasts. The powerful pressure left a deep mark in everyone's heart. They decided to keep their mouths shut and bury this secret in their stomachs.
However, a secret can only be called a secret if only one or two people know it.
When so many people know at the same time, even if they can keep it secret, what's the point?
"But I can't forget it now, Draco, are you going to kill me to silence me?" In the blink of an eye, the students who had gathered together had all run away. Only Pansy was left beside Malfoy, looking at him pitifully, appearing as if she was really worried about her safety.
"Then I wouldn't mind taking some tough measures." Malfoy didn't even look at Pansy, just casually raised his wand and said softly, "Oblivia..."
"I was just kidding, would you really use a curse on me?" Pansy immediately waved her hand, playfully stuck out her tongue at him, and then quickly showed a deeply hurt expression, lowering her eyelids.
"Look, haven't we been dating in the library all the time? We haven't even touched a book," she said softly, silently looking at her fingertips.
"Coincidentally, I was just kidding too." Malfoy inconspicuously put away his wand. "If you have time to joke around, you can worry about the game against Ravenclaw this afternoon."
Malfoy touched his chin and said with some regret, "I think the morale of our house team today might be the lowest in history. I hope you don't lose too badly."
"Seriously?" Pansy said dejectedly, her mood immediately dropping.
"Don't worry, if you perform well, I'll give you a surprise for Christmas." Malfoy then patted her head lightly to comfort her.
"Maybe," Pansy replied unenthusiastically. The victory and advantage gained in the first game were wiped out just like that, which still made her very uncomfortable. (To be continued.)
