Reading really got to them cause they never felt exhausted from it instead it made them fall into it more and more and it made them stay in their little world, but it wouldn't last long cause..... It was not until Nathaniel stomach rumbled signalling them that reading was to be put aside for a while.
"Lukey, I think we need a break don't you think" Nathaniel said standing up stretching.
Luke just cover the book standing up with and making his way to the table where he kept snacks and drinks he had stack up for this break section.
"Yeah we do need some break from books too so dig in Nate" he mentions as he moved with the snacks and drinks towards Nathaniel.
There were different varieties of snacks and drinks to choose from and some of them were Luke's favorites which Nathaniel secretly took note of. They both are to their containment filling their stomachs. But they were not going back to reading immediately cause they wanted a little time to themselves outside books.
"Man am bored..." Nathaniel stated as he groans
Luke just shook his head in agreement before muttering "same here..... Nothing to do right now".
They just sat down there beside the bed hands folded and leg crossed.
"Do you know anything we can do to brighten the mood cause nothing is coming from me, my brain is completely blank" Luke added as he acted dramatically hitting his head.
Nathaniel held Luke's hand before saying "don't do that, it's gonna live a Bobo on your head" before releasing the hand and sitting back then he added "I know why don't we tell each other what went on in our life when we went separate ways for those five years" he then looked at Luke.
"Ok let's do that, but you go first and it is with one question at a time nothing more nothing less" Luke stated.
And Nathaniel agreed with a nod.....
"Ok I will start, you ask me any question" Nathaniel said as he gave Luke a go ahead.
"Hmmm.... " He acted as if thinking then he looked directly at Nathaniel before he asking "after I left the field in that accident what happened to you next".
"I don't know what or how to say it.....but I will anyway" he paused took in some breath before he said "I felt devastated that I went to attack your brother, but I wasn't my self I thought that I had lost something or someone dear to me" he looked down then gave Luke a look he had never seen before.
Luke just felt something stir within him as he smiled a little but he joke a little "yeah I think you felt something else".
"Yeah maybe... I felt something else" Nathaniel said which caused both to look at each other with something but knew they feel.
"Hey..... It's your turn. What happened when you left for Canada after the accident" he asked.
Luke just looked up and smiled as he spoke "It felt off, like I wasn't supposed to be there. You know like I left a part of me here that I really wanted to come back to get and after the accident I never felt completed again and the fear of the field became a nightmare for me" he said before looking a little saddened like he remembered something he wanted to forget.
"Am sorry.... I really am sorry" Nathaniel said.
"It's all in the past now don't worry about it or me although it has some complications on me but I can manage" Luke laughed it out to brighten the mood
"But am sorry I wasn't there to help " Nathaniel said bitting on his lower lip hard that it will draw blood and he clutched his left hand tightly and hard.
Luke move a little bit closer to Nathaniel putting him in an embrace whispering "it's ok Nate am here now and am in your care now so cheerup"
Nathaniel held him in a tight hug "am sorry but I will do my best" he said as if it was a promise. Luke just smiled to himself before thinking...'i should just enjoy this as long as I can before leaving for Canada again'.
"Now it your turn Nate " Luke said
"Yeah it is..." Nathaniel said as he freed from their embrace.
They were in this game for quite some time before they went back to reading and studying and it went well and they stopped just when it was dark out.
"Hey I think it's time to go home" Luke just mentioned as he was arranging his room.
"Hey..... Lukey, I don't know if.... If I could stay the night. Then next morning I will leave on.... Time" Nathaniel stuttered as he said those words.
Luke just smiled before replying "sure, there is plenty of room for someone else".
"Ok thanks but I don't have a change of clothes or anything "
"Yeah I think I have something that will work for you, I do have a clothing that seem too big for me " he said as he went to his closest and brought out a sweater and a short " this should work" he stated as he gave it to Nathaniel.
"Yeah it will" he said and made his way to the restroom to change.
After what feels like hours Nathaniel came out with the sweater and shorts on and he fitted him better.
"It's looks good on you" Luke complimented him
"You think????..." Nathaniel ask
"I don't think I know" he smiled before adding "now let's go down to make something to eat cause am starving"
"Yeah let's do that I too am starving" Nathaniel said smiling as they went down to the kitchen only to meet Luke's mom Emma.... With his sister Tia.
"Hey mom, Tia "
"Hey my lovely son how are you and how are you Nathaniel.... How is your family" Emma asked
"Am good ma and my parents are ok too ma thanks for asking" Nathaniel said.
"Mom we are hungry so what's for menu" he asked as he and Nathaniel sat on the stool close to the kitchen.
"Chicken stew and rice with fried potatoes and pork" sh announced
"Hmmm that will be great miss Emma" Nathaniel stated as he held his two hands rubbing them together in interest.
"We will eat in my room and he's staying over tonight" Luke said as he assisted his mother.
When the food were ready Luke and Nathaniel took their share of food to the room to eat in peace away from family drama and all.
It was fun between them and both just kept talking more and more as they eat and even after eating they both took the dirty dishes to the sink in the kitchen and they washed it together, enjoying each other company as they made fun out of everything. They also clean the kitchen together as they will the cabinet and the floor clean before going to bed together.
"Good night boys" Emma shouted outside the door.
"Good night mom"
"Good night miss Emma"
They both said together as they started laughing mistakenly bringing their faces together, close enough that their nose touched.
They both moved back away a little bit before Luke whispering
"Good night Nate"
"Good night Lukey" Nathaniel said lowly before both sleeping facing different direction with their eyes opened wide.
But both of them had this same thought running in both their minds,
'i can't sleep '

It went on like this for what felt like hours but eventually their concouisness started fading and when that happened their visions became dizzy. Turning to look at each other one last time was the only option before they both feel asleep next to each other. But what was coming after was something both of them will have to leave with for the rest of their lifetime.
Morning eventually came and these two still seek comfort in each others bodies. Nathaniel held Luke like a protective boyfriend which he was gonna be later on, holding him close to him with his head buried in the crook of Luke's neck inhaling his scent which surprisely keeps him calm and he loved it never letting go of what scents like Roses to him and this thing or this someone he held felt right in his arms. Then their was Luke on the other hand sleeping firmly on Nathaniel's chest thou strong, a little hairy and scents like his shampoo and something earthly and sour like sweats but it felt good and he was not yet filled with it. And there was the embrace he feels right now felt so good, so he went in for more and that was when they both woke up cause of the movement they both feel on each other and that was when their world and time flow seem to stop and held its breath for what is to come next...
This made Luke blush and surprised as he still held on Nathaniel.... Nathaniel too was flustered as the both of them faced each other with their nose slightly touching. Both of them are definitely not coming back from this anytime soon.

My babies has grown some balls and are at it like in full swing. Both of them are definitely not coming back from this anytime soon cause it's going to be giving them sleepless nights and it is one step closer to my goal in this book.
