Luke was panicking when Saturday came by in a flash, like now it was Monday then it became Tuesday before you noticed Wednesday creeped, then one minute it was Thursday then it became Friday and the next minute it became Saturday...
He didn't sleep well last night cause Nathaniel was coming over today and he didn't know what to do and what to wear....
"Should I wear plan clothes, classic one or my stay home clothing....grrrrrhh. I wasn't prepared for this. Sure I had him come over before when we were kids but now all those things changed, he is coming over to study but I see him as a crush coming over for a dinner date at my house " he said in a video call he had with Kira.
"Calm down lover boy, its not the end of the world. just put two and two together and it will turn out right " Kira said as she lay down on her bed with one hand on her chin.
"Really...I don't know if that will be good enough " he asked as if he wasn't sure of himself.
Kira just smiled at him before he said "ok show me your closet let me see, what you have in there" she sat up to help Luke.
After viewing the clothes Luke had she was utterly disappointed "nahhhh.....those won't do they are all too plan and old. Quick question when last did you change your closet cause from what am seeing I would say these are from two to three years back" she said with one eyebrow lifted as if telling him to prove her wrong.
There was no reply from Luke which just confirmed Kira's suspicious before she muttered to herself "great, just great...." She paused before shaking her head in sympathy "when next am going out for shopping am taking you along..... We will just make use of what ever we can find" he said before shaking her head again like a Medel detector putting one idea into another. Before she looked at Luke...
"Lukey, I've got an idea for your problem"
......
Few moments later Luke was walking to get the door and finding Nathaniel standing by the door. He was wearing a black hoodie and a grey baggie gean and he looked completely different, even his energy felt different from his usual energy. He was like a different person and he was happy cause he felt like he now know a new side of Nathaniel that no one knew.
"Hey... Luke you look stunning with the mixture of textures" Nathaniel said as he smiled to Luke looking more handsome.
Luke felt a flustered as he threw his face to the other side to hide it...." Hey... Thanks but you look more stunning and handsome " he paused before face turning bright red from saying those words "what I mean is that you look good.....I didn't mean..... You know I....I....I " he was stuttering and unable to defend himself.
Nathaniel just laughed as he bend his head to the side a little then smiled brightly "I know what you mean...lukey and you trying to defend yourself makes you cute... And adorable too" he said and Luke just melt to those words.
"But are we just going to standout here or we could get inside and begin our book date" he teased before winking at Luke.
Luke just left the way and ushered Nathaniel inside while he locked the door behind them. Things really was going to be fun just as Rita had said.
Nathaniel was looking around the house and making sense of the new designs that were laid out "wow, a whole lot has changed from what I use to know huh..... Just like how you changed a lot looking cuter and prettier if an allowed to use those words, than when we were kids. The designs are great but a bit over the edge and the frame looks the same but only few of your pictures hang on the wall why is that????.." he asked.
"As you can see that it is almost Blake's pictures that took most of the place, It's like a shrine meant just for him to adore him like a god.... But there too are trophies every were and it just annoying but I can't really say that, so let's get to my bed.....I mean room" he added rushing up to his room with Nathaniel tagging along from behind.
"Ok Mr no fun...." Nathaniel smiled as he walked behind Luke, taking the view of the boy which sent some chills down his spine in a way he hasn't felt before but it felt good.
Luke looks shorter than him with 5 inches and the colour he had changed his hair colour to made him stand out more and there was those eyes that made it look like it was sunset in night time which made him even more beautiful, but it was impossible for a man to be beautiful but here was someone in front of him. Beautiful than any girl had ever talk to or even had a crush on and to make the problems worst the had that sex dream about him looking all tempting and sexy for his own good too.
'come of it Nathaniel, he's just a guy you shouldn't have this kind of thoughts towards him and he is even my best friend. But it not my fault cause he looks all tempting and hot that I want to have a bite of him' he said to himself.
"And who are we taking a bite from???" Dan asked looking puzzled
"Hmm I was talking about a new snack I saw online and it was creamy so I was thinking if having a bite" Nathaniel laughed nervously trying to look convincing.
"Ok..... Well I got us snacks and drinks so you can bite from those first" Luke said pointing to the snacks and drinks stack up on his table close to his bed.
"Sure, I will be biting those " Nathaniel sounded nervous to not let his words spill out the wrong way.
"Sure..." Luke didn't look convinced but just let it slide and just continue with bringing out his books.
'phew..... That was close like really close this beautiful man should have come with a warning sign written on his forehead' he thought silently.
Meanwhile.... Luke was panicking from the statement he had heard from Nathaniel's lips which he may had thought in his head but it came out loud enough for him to hear every detail. Now his heart is trashing like crazy.
'bite me..... What he was thinking of biting me and he called me beautiful and sexy, who me..... I may had heard wrong. It can't be me' he thought as he continues to bring out the books.
These two just felt the room get hot against their skin causing them to feel flustered and they felt this unsaid words that carried weight more than the eye could see.
'i need to keep myself in check around this boy... He has started to stir up something deep and I don't want it' Nathaniel thought making a fist 'but those eyes and looks make him a beautiful man. He's delicate and fragile and it just want me to protect him more than anything' he signed.
"Let's start with this...." Luke was talking to Nathaniel when someone pushed the door opened without knocking.
Blake walked inside like he own the place then he locked eyes with Luke and then Nathaniel, an evil creepy smile formed on his face.
"Uhu...what do we have here...birds of a feather" he said trying to look big.
"Ah..... Yeah birds of a feather do look alike after all. I rather be a different feather than be the same with a cooked up one like you. Now Blake what do you want ????" Luke sounded disgust with his brother's appearance. There was silence that rang harder than a noisy field.
"Oh can't speak now or did a cat caught your tongue now Huh... It looks like you have nothing to ask of me now live my room" he said while turning to his books and Nathaniel.
It was at that time laughter rang out like a bell. It was ear deafening when close but in Luke's view it was the most beautiful sound he had ever heard. But to someone else it was annoying and hellish to hear.
"That was a good one I like that one lukey" Nathaniel laughed as he held his strong arms around Luke's shoulder bringing him close "what a beautiful man you are... Serves him right " he laughed some more.
Luke was burning up with series of emotions from those words "what a beautiful man you are" making his face turn reddish. While Blake had a reddish face but it was from anger and embarrassment, he just walked out the room without looking back making the others hear his footsteps as he continues walking away without being seen. Only his steps rang through the hallway.
They started the reading season completely forgetting the outside world and focus on their little world that consists of only them.
