Chapter 110 - Chapter 109 - The Trident War

After learning what happened in Riverrun, House Tully's castle, Daenerys looked at Cadmus with wide eyes. To understand how crazy the situation was, even Rhaella didn't kill Aerys for what he did to her. Killing a relative was indeed a very serious thing.

However, Daenerys smiled and said with a satisfied tone. "A good fate for traitors and oathbreakers."

"By the way, it's possible that the castle will be attacked, so I returned to increase the castle's defenses." Cadmus spoke with a calm tone. He had confidence in his magical defenses, but he never underestimated a mage; they are the group of beings who had the most knowledge of the world. He didn't want to be caught by surprise just to maintain a facade of arrogance.

"What happened?" Daenerys asked curiously; she even stopped feeding the two dragons, who let out dissatisfied guttural sounds, but their mother still continued to look at Cadmus with curiosity, totally ignoring the small dragons.

Cadmus let out a helpless sigh and told what happened and the truth about Stregobor's attack, including his stupid prophecy.

Daenerys just opened her mouth and widened her beautiful eyes; she couldn't believe what she was hearing at that moment. It was so unreal that she pinched herself while showing a genuine expression of disbelief.

"Am I going to burn the whole world?" Pointing to herself, she asked with a still shocked tone.

"Well, maybe it would be true if I hadn't appeared." Cadmus replied with an uncertain tone. Logically, in this world, where magic was much more intense than in the original universe, it was indeed possible that Stregobor's prophecy was true.

He could imagine a hypothetical scenario where Daenerys was losing the war against the Night King and the power within her fully awakening, all her calls exploding in a mere moment, bringing a ray of incalculable destruction.

It was the power of the script working, but protagonism was like that, so Cadmus felt that Stregobor really saw this scene.

"It's possible that, without my intervention, you would never have awakened your magic and probably all the magic accumulated over the years exploded all at once in a single moment. But it's definitely not possible that you would burn the entire planet; at most, perhaps you would burn half the continent." Cadmus said, slightly thoughtful, calculating the range if Daenerys accumulated too much magic within her over the years.

Daenerys looked at her own hands and couldn't believe that those small hands were capable of causing so much destruction. It was like discovering that you were rich your whole life while working day and night until exhaustion.

The Lady of Harrenhal soon showed an expression of delight; who would refuse so much power? If there was a fool in the world, she, Daenerys, was not one of those people!

"Don't worry, I'll protect you from now on." Daenerys placed her hand on his waist and spoke with a smug tone full of confidence.

Cadmus couldn't help but smile, hearing his wife's adorable declaration. He just let out a laugh and spoke with an amused tone. "Then I thank you, my lovely wife."

If possible, he really wanted to live off Daenerys while just relaxing. He didn't know about other men, but the idea of working was terrible for him, a truly hellish punishment. Just the word work caused him an allergy.

Suddenly, Cadmus felt Daenerys hold his hand and noticed the look on her face. This left the mage speechless; he didn't need words to understand what the princess wanted. However, as newlyweds, he himself also wanted to.

Picking up the princess in his arms, Cadmus walked to their room in the main tower of the castle, which was now renamed the Lord's Tower. "You seem more excited than I am." Daenerys said with a laugh, noticing her husband's faster steps.

"I have the most beautiful woman in the kingdom in my arms. If I weren't excited, you might as well say I'm a sword swallower." Cadmus said with an amused laugh. He felt that no straight man could not be excited with a beautiful wife.

Daenerys narrowed her eyes at the compliment and smiled even more; she loved hearing those words, they were more beautiful than any other musical instrument. Bringing her lips close to Cadmus's ear, she whispered with a seductive tone full of temptation. "Then your beautiful wife will satisfy you in every possible way, my lord husband."

"Daenerys, don't provoke me, you won't be able to get out of bed tonight." Cadmus spoke with a hoarse voice, his eyes full of aggression.

Daenerys just laughed and whispered with a provocative look. "Well, I have some fetishes I want to try, my dear husband."

'God, thank you for the gift.' Seeing his wife, Cadmus thanked God for the beautiful gift and, ignoring the maidservants around, entered the room without any hesitation.

At night, in the room.

Daenerys felt her body completely without strength; sweat covered her body, making her look somewhat shiny under the flickering candlelight. Her bones seemed to disappear from her body; she had no strength even to move a finger.

The remnants of sex were evident on her skin, red marks on her neck, shoulder, breasts, thighs, and even her buttocks.

Leaning against her husband's sweaty chest, she felt no disgust, only felt incredibly connected to Cadmus. The magical candelabras flew around, illuminating the room with a soft, warm glow.

"Did you like me using my mouth? I got some advice from some married women." Daenerys looked at Cadmus and asked with a look full of tenderness, almost melting the mage with so much tenderness.

"No matter what you do, you are perfect." Cadmus caressed Daenerys's hair and spoke with a satisfied and completely relaxed tone. He didn't lie; although Daenerys was inexperienced, the feeling of conquering was equally satisfying and even superior, because, obviously, it was the princess's first time doing something like this.

Daenerys was happy with his compliment and hugged him tighter, almost climbing completely onto him. She touched her belly and spoke with a touch of hope; then she looked at Cadmus and spoke with a soft tone. "I'm definitely pregnant."

As a wife, woman, and Lady of Harrenhal, her duty was to have children for Cadmus. Only when they have children will House Peverell continue for millennia.

"Hmm, I prefer a boy," Cadmus said with a laugh, imagining him teaching the boy how to flirt with women.

"Don't worry, I'll give you a son." Daenerys said with an extremely determined tone.

"No need to force yourself, boy or girl, I will love equally." Cadmus was not particularly anxious for a son; he was not so patriarchal, not to mention that, if his son is useless, he will not mind naming a daughter for the role.

Instead of primogeniture, he always thought that the best was the most suitable to command.

Cadmus's words moved Daenerys. Growing up in an environment where she was raised to give a son to her husband, his gentle words truly moved her.

"You are the best husband in the world!" Kissing his cheek with a pleasant sound, Daenerys said loudly.

Cadmus just laughed, found it adorable to see Daenerys acting that way.

After a comfortable silence between them, Daenerys asked again with a lazy and relaxed tone. "Is this Ban Ard magic academy powerful?"

"Very powerful, they have a very strong old man, although that old man is not far from dying." Cadmus replied with a casual tone. Apart from the rector of Ban Ard and a few mages, he was not worried about the others. It was not that he was arrogant, but his level and that of these mages were completely different.

Just like the mages Cadmus killed with ease, they were on a totally different level. Which could be seen in the fight against Stregobor. It was an abysmal difference in strength. So, it wasn't really contempt.

"Be careful, I'll take care of our house while you're away." Knowing that her husband would go to the battlefield in the Trident, Daenerys said with a gentle tone. Although she was worried about Cadmus's safety, she would not prevent her man from doing things for everyone to see.

Cadmus gently kissed Daenerys's sweaty forehead and felt the concern in her words. This feeling of having someone worrying about his life was very good. This made him realize that he was no longer alone; he had a wife he should protect and also his future sons and daughters.

He needed to be strong to fight against anything that could pose any threat to his family.

'If Ban Ard doesn't stop, I'll have to attack the academy.' Cadmus thought with a deep look. He already had the location of Ban Ard through Stregobor's memories, so he could attack the academy at any time.

'It seems I'm going to imitate Voldemort attacking Hogwarts.' Cadmus smiled, but there was a ruthless look in his eyes.

Note: I was drinking my coffee while watching the news when a story came on about a man who got his girlfriend and mother-in-law pregnant.

What were the mother-in-law and the boyfriend's excuses? The mother-in-law said she thought she was in a dream with her dead husband. The boyfriend said it was dark and he got the rooms mixed up while going to the bathroom...
