Chapter 155 - Chapter 155: Honoured One

Category: Noble Phantasm (Self-Enhancement)

Level: None

Description:

A Noble Phantasm formed through the sublimation of the legendary life of Douglas Bullet, the Demon Heir, merged with the mythical abilities of the Fusion-Fusion Fruit.

It grants the user the power to forcibly assimilate all things in existence into their body—turning them into nourishment, enhancing one's vitality, power, and overall life level.

Warning:

If the user's body cannot withstand the backlash of fusion, severe and irreversible consequences may occur. (E.g., an ordinary human would be incinerated by solar fusion or obliterated by planetary force.) Use with caution.

Jaeger posted the information in the dimensional chat group.

This Noble Phantasm was the reward from slaying Douglas Bullet. At its core, it was simple—mythical fusion, transforming anything into strength.

Uchiha Miyuki: "Just as I suspected. This is a mythical upgrade of the Fusion-Fusion Fruit. The name though… kinda wild. Feels both grandiose and embarrassingly on-brand for a guy like Bullet—and for His Highness Jaeger."

Shinobu Kocho: "Devour everything in existence to grow stronger... sounds terrifying. But that warning—does that mean the user could die just by using it?"

Yamamoto Mei: "Naturally. It's written right there. Fuse with fire, and you burn. Fuse with lightning, you get fried. Try fusing with a planet and you'll probably explode. This Noble Phantasm must be used with discretion—it's powerful, but not limitless."

Eriri Sawamura: "Wait, wait!! Then isn't Jaeger in danger?! Didn't he say he was planning to fuse with actual stars—like, multiple stars?!"

Jaeger: "…You think I'm the type to rush into this without preparation?"

Utaha Kasumigaoka: "Tch. Even after eating the Mythical Zoan Nine-Tailed Fox Fruit, your brain's still empty, golden girl."

Eriri Sawamura: "What'd you say?! You fatty!"

Luo Hao: "Eriri, have you learned nothing in your time here? Jaeger's strength doesn't just come from one ability. You've forgotten his other Legendary Noble Phantasms."

Eriri Sawamura: "Uh… Well… I'm just a regular normal girl, okay? I haven't gone world-hopping or fought in any epic battles. I've mostly used my transformation powers for drawing. So… can someone explain?"

Scathach: "Jaeger possesses solar-level immunity thanks to his own sun-based power. He's already fused with Noble Phantasms that negate the risk of explosion or overload. The Otsutsuki blood in him enables planetary energy absorption. Combined with this fusion-type Noble Phantasm… he can turn any celestial object into strength. Still need an explanation?"

Eriri Sawamura: "N-Nope! Got it loud and clear, Boss Lady!!"

Jaeger: "You truly are the Princess of the Shadow Kingdom. With insight like yours, even without divine clairvoyance, you'd still qualify as a great seer. The world itself favors you."

In the Pirate World's outer space, Jaeger praised Scathach openly in the chat group—while pulling her gently into his embrace. The two-pronged affection made the bold princess's face flush red.

Shinobu Kocho: "So… the combination of Jaeger's abilities allows him to safely use this Noble Phantasm, Heaven and World: Only One, without the usual risk?"

Luo Hao: "Precisely! It's truly miraculous how unrelated powers and relics can come together to produce such overwhelming synergy. I'm eager to see how far Jaeger can go now."

Eriri Sawamura: "Hard to believe… Not long ago he was just detonating a miniature sun. And now he's devouring full-scale solar stars like they're vitamins. His power's just beyond comprehension…"

Jibril: "I'm starting to understand why Miyuki always says Jaeger is cheating. Even Kasumigaoka's insane growth curve can't compare. It's like Jaeger has admin privileges on reality itself."

In the vastness of Pirate World space...

Scathach and Jaeger simultaneously exited the chat group.

"I feel like even the title of Sun God would fall short before you," Scathach murmured, her voice laced with awe.

Snuggled in Jaeger's arms, she chuckled. "In the Type Moon and the divine realms alike, the sun is untouchable. Even gods dare not absorb it outright. And yet you…"

"I wonder myself."

Jaeger's smile turned toward a massive star in the distance—similar to Earth's sun in mass, energy, and heat.

With a thought, he activated the Noble Phantasm: Heaven and World: Only One.

In an instant, the star, over a million times larger than Earth, began to tremble—then compress—visibly shrinking.

Countless planets around it dimmed, losing their solar source. Life would vanish. Gravity would destabilize. Some might spiral into chaos and collision, reduced to stardust.

But Jaeger did not care.

They were irrelevant. Cold statistics. Meaningless noise.

Scathach: "...How spectacular…"

Under her gaze, the sun-like star shrank into a glowing white-gold orb the size of a lead bullet.

It floated toward Jaeger… and merged with his body.

Jaeger: "Ngh…!"

His eyes snapped open wide. In his right pupil, the radiant sun sigil flared, so dazzling that nearby darkened planets were re-illuminated by its sheer brilliance.

Scathach instinctively turned away—blinded.

Uchiha Miyuki: "AAAAH! FLASHBANG! Jaeger just threw a galactic flashbang!"

Eriri Sawamura: "My EYES! I'm crying!"

Shinobu Kochou: "No kidding… My retinas are fried…"

Jibril: "Eh? Is it really that bad?"

Uchiha Miyuki: "Shush! You tanked a nuke with a smile—this is out of your league!"

Of course, none of this mattered to Jaeger.

He wasn't even paying attention anymore.

Because—

It hurt.

Agony. Blazing. Pressure. Collapse. Implosion. Eruption. Unraveling—

The sun was thousands of times Earth's mass. Even divine bodies would be reduced to ash under its energy.

Jaeger's Solar Physique protected him from the temperature, but the force—the pure pressure—threatened to shatter him from the inside out.

Even the King's Wine—his most poisonously painful Noble Phantasm—was nothing compared to this.

Then… the salvation arrived.

The fragmented Noble Phantasm gained from defeating Buggy the Clown finally activated.

A weakling, yes. But his power had been sublimated into something far greater.

Jaeger's body dispersed into billions of molecular segments—elementalized.

The pain was distributed across every fragment of his being. Not erased. Just shared.

And that…

That made it bearable.

"Jaeger…"

Scathach was the first to react. Her expression shifted from awe to concern as she immediately traced countless runes into the air—each glowing with ancient magic designed to soothe pain and restore mental clarity.

At last, under the combined effect of the Noble Phantasm Heaven and World: Only One and the ancestral Otsutsuki bloodline devouring the stellar energy, Jaeger's body began rapidly absorbing the solar essence within him. That once-violent power now became nourishment—converted seamlessly into strength.

Soul. Body. Power. Lifespan. Sun Spirit.

Even the elusive Level of Life—they all rose at a rate Jaeger himself could no longer quantify.

It wasn't just growth.

It was evolution.

He could feel it. He was becoming something greater—ascending beyond the framework of mortal existence.

Time passed.

The inner storm within Jaeger finally calmed.

He exhaled slowly and opened his eyes. In his right pupil, the sun sigil had changed—no longer a static image, but a living sun wreathed in golden-red divine fire, pulsing with cosmic vitality.

Even Scathach, an immortal of incomprehensible might, instinctively flinched.

Looking directly at Jaeger's eye gave her the sense that she might be unmade—not killed, but erased from existence entirely.

"…You succeeded?" she asked quietly.

Of course, she already knew the answer. With her demonic wisdom, she could see that Jaeger now possessed a level of immortality and divine authority that dwarfed gods themselves. To call him a "Sun God" would be an insult.

A sun god was merely fuel to him.

"Well, yeah. It worked."

Jaeger's smile was calm, but his tone carried the weight of unimaginable transformation. He could hardly believe it himself.

Everything—his fusion ability, the Otsutsuki bloodline, the fragmented Noble Phantasms—they had somehow come together perfectly. Without even one of them, he never would've dared to absorb a sun. Let alone more than one.

"Incredible…" Scathach whispered, eyes narrowing with an odd glint. She reached out, lightly pinching Jaeger's side. "If I'd met you in the Type Moon, I might've finally found someone worthy of killing me."

Then her tone turned curious.

"So… you fully absorbed that star's energy?"

Jaeger laughed and shook his head. "Not even close. That amount of energy takes time to digest. But…"

With a flick of his wrist, Jaeger tore open a hole in the fabric of space.

Compared to before, the universe responded to his will like thin paper. The folds of space bent before him—his reach extended immeasurably. In a blink, he appeared before another sun-like star.

"You're going again…?" Scathach's pupils contracted.

She watched, stunned, as Jaeger activated Heaven and World: Only One again—pulling the second star into himself.

Then a third.

A fourth.

A fifth…

There were billions of stars in the Milky Way. Even with his newfound power, Jaeger couldn't possibly absorb them all. But with each sun he devoured, his capacity expanded—as if his body were becoming a greater universe of its own.

Like a bottomless glutton, he consumed until—

On the 150th star—

Jaeger finally slowed. He raised an eyebrow, placed a hand over his stomach, and let out a small sigh.

"Yeah… I'm full. This is my limit—for now."

Silence fell.

Scathach could only stare in shock.

One hundred and fifty stars.

That wasn't just an arbitrary number. That was the energy of 150 solar systems—enough to birth 150 advanced civilizations the size of Earth. Enough to warp the very fabric of time and space.

The sheer mass and energy Jaeger had assimilated made even primordial gods seem insignificant. Not even Tiamat, the creation mother goddess, could compare to this scale of power. In front of Jaeger, she'd be no more than an insect beneath a galaxy-sized boot.

What shook Scathach most, however, wasn't the power itself.

It was how simple the method was.

Just a few combined Noble Phantasms.

Just the right blend of abilities.

And it became… this.

A power that defied logic.

A miracle.

The Chat Group...

She glanced toward the mental space connected to the interdimensional group.

That mysterious system—what unfathomable potential did it truly hold?

For the first time in her eternal life, Scathach felt something like gratitude. If not for this opportunity, she might have been doomed to wander immortally in eternal boredom—forever unchanging, forever alone.

Suddenly, a crushing force wrapped around her waist.

CRACK.

"Ah—what are you doing?!"

Scathach winced. Her organs and ribs almost crumbled under the force. Even for someone like her, that hurt!

She shot Jaeger a sharp glare, her crimson eyes flickering with irritation. "That's enough! Even I have limits, you know!"

Jaeger blinked, then gave a sheepish smile.

"Ah—sorry. My strength jumped too fast, didn't hold back properly."

He lowered his head and looked at her. There was something playful—and genuine—in his gaze.

"…Hey. That thing you said earlier. Still mean it? I'll give you a chance to back out."

Scathach tilted her head, playing dumb. "Hmm? What thing?"

She remembered exactly what she'd said, of course. That if Jaeger could defeat her, she'd become his trophy—and teach him the ancient runes. But she wasn't one to act shy.

"You've already surpassed everything in the Fate universe," she mused. "Why bother learning runes now? What's the point?"

Jaeger chuckled. "Why not? I don't need runes to become stronger. It's like playing piano or painting—it enriches you. No harm in learning."

Then he leaned in closer, his breath warm against her ear.

"Besides… don't you think teacher-student relationships are a little more fun? Especially when the student teases the teacher. You seem like you'd enjoy that dynamic, Master Runesmith."

Scathach's cheeks turned a bright crimson.

"…Fine," she muttered. "Pick a planet. We'll train... and fight. And maybe... other things too."
