"Where are we heading next?"

Bodhisattva's handsome, calm face—so similar to Liu Xi's—held a gentle smile as he turned to look at the man beside him.

Liu Xi clasped his hands behind his back and walked leisurely as he replied, "To the Skylaw Continent. It's a supercontinent, and the closest one to this Merchant Continent."

There was another reason, too. On the Skylaw Continent lay the ruins of the Ancient Heaven Palace—once the Dao field of the Heavenly Emperor, one of the Nine Ancient Emperors. The palace had been the former overlord of that land. If the chance presented itself, Liu Xi intended to take a look. Moreover, the Heavenly Emperor had once possessed one of the Thirty-Six Peerless Divine Abilities—One Qi Transforms Into Three Pure Ones.

Few things could truly spark Liu Xi's curiosity, but the Thirty-Six Peerless Divine Abilities were certainly among them.

Of course, the palace was not due to re-emerge for another century or so. Liu Xi was in no rush.

If fate allowed, he would seize the opportunity. If not, he would simply let it pass.

His heart was always calm.

"Alright," Bodhisattva nodded softly. Though he now possessed a soul and endless curiosity for the world, he still didn't know where he truly wished to go. Since Liu Xi had a destination, he was content to follow.

As for the last of their trio—Old Monster Xuan Pao—he silently trailed behind them like a true servant, wordless and subdued.

Wherever Liu Xi went was not for him to decide. For a man who had lost his freedom, his demands were few.

After leaving the Dragon Abyss Auction Pavilion, the three made their way toward the continent's spatial teleportation array that connected directly to Skylaw Continent.

Having obtained what he needed, Liu Xi politely refused Fu Hua's repeated invitations to stay and immediately departed. The auction master dared not obstruct him and personally escorted them to the exit.

Any potential loose ends had already been dealt with by Xuan Pao. The Merchant Continent was a tangled web of power and wealth—filled with countless factions, some even serving as proxies for great superpowers seeking to amass Sovereign Spiritual Liquid.

Owning a High Earth Sovereign protector was already considered their limit. A Heavenly Sovereign was the apex of the Great Thousand World—none would stoop to such mundane dealings.

Thus, even though Liu Xi carried vast fortune upon him, there was little danger. As for the usual "ambush for treasure" tales—those existed only in cheap novels, not in reality.

Upon reaching the teleportation plaza, they paid the required amount of Sovereign Spiritual Liquid, and the array was swiftly prepared.

Whenever a problem arose, Xuan Pao would merely step forward with a cold face and release a trace of his Perfect Earth Sovereign aura. Immediately, all matters proceeded without resistance.

Stepping onto the teleportation platform, Liu Xi watched as the formation's runes lit up in dazzling brilliance. The dense power of space rippled outward.

In the next instant, the teleportation array activated—and the three vanished without a trace.

Skylaw Continent.

A month later, in a medium-sized city.

After weeks of travel, Liu Xi and his companions finally arrived. They had wandered for some time before settling here.

The Skylaw Continent was a vast supercontinent—one of the largest in the Great Thousand World. It was divided into five major regions: Central Domain, Eastern Domain, Southern Domain, Western Domain, and Northern Domain. Currently, Liu Xi was within the Northern Region of Northern Domain.

During this period, he had encountered several ruins—ancient relics said to house the inheritances of Earth Sovereigns—but those were of little interest to him.

Such places might tempt ordinary Sovereigns, but to Liu Xi, now at the peak of the Great Thousand World's power, they were as worthless as discarded chicken bones.

At his current level, he no longer required aimless "training." What he needed was to continuously consolidate his foundation—until the day he broke through to the Heavenly Sovereign realm.

Half a year had passed since leaving the Dou Qi Continent. Liu Xi had now firmly established himself within the Great Thousand World.

He had converted all his Dou Qi into Spiritual Energy, his cultivation restored to the Peak Earth Sovereign realm—and in terms of true combat strength, he far surpassed any ordinary Peak Earth Sovereign.

He was just one step away from breaking into the Heavenly Sovereign realm. When that day came, he would stand atop the Great Thousand World—one of its apex beings.

But even that lofty world was not without peril.

Beyond the domains lurked the Extraterritorial Evil Race—ever hungry, ever watching. The four borders of the Great Thousand World were their gateways of invasion.

Every millennium, a great catastrophe would erupt, drowning the realms in blood and devastation. Countless Sovereigns would fall.

Liu Xi, now part of this world, naturally intended to lend his strength when the time came.

But before that—

He stood in the courtyard of an inn, hands clasped behind his back, gazing up at the blue sky. A subtle gleam flickered within his eyes as his lips curved faintly.

After more than a month of searching, he had finally traced faint spatial fluctuations—remnants of the Ancient Heaven Palace.

The palace floated in a separate spatial layer, constantly drifting above the Skylaw Continent. Its coordinates were never fixed, endlessly shifting.

The Heavenly Emperor himself had sealed the palace long ago. With time, the seal's strength had gradually waned.

Though Liu Xi was "only" a Perfect Earth Sovereign, his Spiritual Perception rivaled that of a Heavenly Sovereign. From those faint traces of distorted space, he had found its lingering trail.

However, such an unstable space could not withstand the presence of overly powerful beings. Forcibly breaching it was possible—but dangerous. One misstep would cast even a Heavenly Sovereign into the endless void, lost for eternity.

"Forget it," Liu Xi murmured, smiling faintly. "The Heaven Palace's opportunities can stay with fate. I believe the Chaotic Azure Lotus will never lose to the One Qi Three Purities Technique."

Still, there was one concern.

"The Heaven Palace's sealed Demon Emperor must be destroyed eventually," he muttered. "Even a fragmented remnant of the Demon Emperor cannot be underestimated. I'll need a perfect plan."

Thus, Liu Xi decided to abandon the pursuit.

The Heavenly Emperor's legacy could remain untouched—his own path, the Chaotic Azure Lotus, was no weaker.

Then, Liu Xi spoke softly, "Xuan Pao."

A shadow stirred. The black-robed elder immediately appeared from the courtyard's edge, bowing deeply.

"Master!"

Liu Xi didn't turn around, his gaze still fixed upon the sky. To ordinary eyes, it was merely blue and cloudless—

but within Liu Xi's sight, countless threads of space intersected, faintly warped by unseen distortion.

Those were traces left behind by the moving Heaven Palace—imperceptible to most, but not to him.

"I've decided not to pursue the Heaven Palace. Inform Bodhisattva to return," Liu Xi said calmly.

When he began searching for the palace, he had allowed Bodhisattva to explore freely—to enjoy life as a true being, not merely a divine artifact.

Once a sacred tree, now a living soul, Bodhisattva deserved that freedom.

With his deep foundation, he had already reached the Peak Spiritual Grade Heavenly Sovereign. The rest of his cultivation path would be a matter of time and refinement. With enough Spiritual Energy, ascending to the Saint Grade Heavenly Sovereign was merely inevitable.

Xuan Pao's expression flickered with surprise. Liu Xi had spent a month searching for the Heaven Palace, yet chose to walk away so easily.

Still, he bowed low and answered, "Master, Bodhisattva is currently in the Northern Frontier. He sent word earlier—he seems to have met another of his kind. This old servant will deliver your message at once."

"Oh?" Liu Xi raised a brow, genuinely intrigued. "Another of his kind… here on Skylaw Continent?"

A faint smile touched his lips. "Interesting. Let's go see for ourselves."
