Tricia's POV
Getting out of the house felt like freedom for me as I giggled. Morgan's face turned cold to me as he tightened his grip on me.
"Morgan, I have difficulty breathing," I complained.
"Like I care," he said as a jeep drove to us.
He opened the back door and shoved me in before walking to the front, beside the driver. My heart ached as I saw him sit. I questioned myself if he was the same person who behaved caring to me.
"Boss, is she the one?" I heard his driver ask, and he nodded, giving some caution to his driver.
The jeep moved for a long, and I felt my heart aggravated. We've been on the road for two hours, yet the jeep didn't stop. This made me disturbed.
"Morgan! Where are we heading?" I managed to ask.
"My house," he said without looking back.
The jeep drove through a gate and he stepped out of the car.
"Come down," he said.
Walking into the house, I expected to see a nice background but instead, I saw some young men looking at me. Two of them had cigarettes in their hands, while the others had daggers in their eyes.
"Welcome to my abode," Morgan said.
"It smells like hell," I used a hand to cover my nose but Morgan didn't say anything.
"Welcome Boss, and our lady," The young men said. The driver also joined.
I looked at Morgan and asked where my room was, and he replied that I should follow him whenever he was ready to go to his room.
"Hope I won't be staying with you?" I whispered. He wore a smile and told me that we were staying in a room as a couple.
"No words," he cautioned.
He led me to a couch and then walked away.
"I am Drake," A young man who wasn't smoking shook my hand.
"Tricia," I replied.
Drake walked to Morgan and they began talking. After some minutes, Drake walked to me, telling me that he was going to get me some clothes, and he would like to get my measurements.
After getting my measurements, he walked out of the house. Morgan walked to me, and held my chin up, telling me to feel comfortable.
"Morgan, let's leave," I said.
We left to the staircase then a door flew open, revealing a tidy room. A smile crossed my face, but I could only see one tiny bed in the room.
I asked him about this, and he told me that I would be sleeping on the bed while he would be on the long couch.
The couch was beautiful, and I admired it. Morgan looked at me and drew his lip close to mine. I closed my eyes in anticipation for a kiss but felt nothing.
Opening my eyes, Morgan laughed, pushing me into the room.
"Do you think I am going to kiss you?" he asked. "Do not be a fool."
His words resounded in my ear, he just said I shouldn't be a fool. I stared at him feeling a bit scared. He asked if we should lay together and laughed over it, biting my ear.
I stared as he locked the door, and walked out. What did he mean by me not being a fool? Maybe he doesn't want to kiss me before I accept him.
My mind went to the young men I sat in the living room. Some were neatly dressed while some looked like they had nothing.
The realization of what they called Morgan hit me. They called him Boss which I know he is, but of a small organization. How can he allow his workers to smoke in his house?
"Morgan Bliss, help me understand you," I murmured.
My eyes flew to a picture frame standing by the edge of a table. He stood with a man I recognized as someone my father had sacked.
"What is that picture for?" I asked myself as I drew near it.
Before I could pick up the frame, I heard a knock on the door. Drake handed me the dresses he had bought and left. I looked at everything and discovered that they were all male dresses.
I planned on going to complain but Morgan walked in. After complaining to him, he gave me a flimsy excuse.
Morgan left the room, advising me to change into one of the dresses, and I obeyed.
Getting down, there was only a man left in the living room, and when I asked, he threw a dagger at me. "Let's play some games."
I tried refusing him but later gave in. I haven't played games with anyone for years. It would be fun.
We started playing for hours till I got tired. He won me but I felt happy.
"Aren't you Alex's friend?" I noticed him. Alex showed me a picture that he had taken with his friend, who I didn't recognize while playing a game.
The young man looked at me and smiled. "I don't want to hear that name ever again, Tricia Loyd."
Looking at him, I could see the seriousness in his face. It seems like he was sad. Whatever Alex had done to him wasn't right.
"Are you done playing?" Looking up, I saw Morgan standing.
"Yes, we are," I got up and walked to him, wrapping my hands around his waist to show some romantic gesture, but he shoved it away.
Alonso laughed at this, making me feel embarrassed. I looked at Morgan and walked away to another couch.
"You are the only lady in this house, so you will need to follow some rules," I looked at Morgan as I didn't understand what he said. "Do not touch me unless I tell you to; also, do not act as my wife outside. We are strangers."
I looked at him with shock written on my face. "What can I expect from a poor drug dealer?" I could see the hurt on his face, but I didn't care.
"Let her go," he said to Alonso who wanted to hurt me.
While going to the stairs, I heard Alonso say that I don't know what my brother did.
