"Hey, Kyo! Kyo! Wake up!"
I slowly opened my eyes after hearing someone calling my name.
Then I saw my mother's face. She was looking directly at me.
"Are you okay? I've been calling you for a long time!"
"What time is it?" I asked.
"It's almost 2 PM already. It's nearly time to head to the filming location. You're going to be late if you don't get up right now."
Hearing my mother's words, my eyes widened.
I immediately jumped out of bed.
"I'm going to take a quick shower."
"What time did you stay up until?"
"Until 5 AM. I already sent the illustrations to Mr. Kuroda. I'll have to check his response later."
After saying that, I rushed to the bathroom and took a quick shower. I barely even fixed my hair before leaving the house.
As soon as I stepped outside, Rina was waiting for me.
"Your mother told me you'd be running a little late, but I didn't know you'd be this late! Get in quickly—we need to be there in fifteen minutes."
"Alright, alright."
My mother shoved me into the car, and as soon as we got in, it sped off at high speed.
Hopefully Daiki doesn't get a ticket...

As the car raced down the road, I realized we were taking a route I knew very well.
After all, I traveled this way almost every day to get to school.
The closer we got to my school, the more nervous I became.
When we finally stopped at the school entrance and I saw all those cars, reporters, security guards, and production staff, I finally understood.
"Why didn't you tell me we were filming at my school?" I asked Rina.

Then she opened the door and got out.
"Stay here. I'm going to get some security guards. There are reporters around, and they might try to approach you."
"I don't really care about that."
I opened the door and stepped out of the car.
"Hey, wait!"
Rina looked surprised that I wasn't concerned at all.
Letting out a sigh, I walked toward the school entrance. Rina followed closely behind me, and immediately the reporters began approaching.
"Kyo, could you talk to us for just a moment? How has your first experience filming a commercial for a major company like Nintendo been?"
"Kyo! I'm Mana from Tokyo Celebrity! How did you react when you received an offer from Nintendo? Do you realize how important this is?"
Questions came from every direction.
I considered stopping to answer, but Rina intervened.
"That's enough. Please step back. Kyo won't be giving any interviews right now—he's already late!"
I continued walking and entered the school.
The security guards stopped the reporters.
As soon as I stepped inside, it was surprisingly quiet.
All the students were probably in their classrooms.
They definitely knew the commercial was being filmed today.
And of course, they knew I was the one starring in it.
After all, it had already been announced in the media.
With my hands in my pockets, I was led to a room that had been converted into a dressing room.
My mother arrived shortly afterward, but she wasn't alone.

"There you are! Why didn't you answer my call last night!?"

While Kyo was getting ready, every student in the school was feeling excited.
As soon as they arrived that morning, all of them had been informed by their teachers that a Nintendo commercial would be filmed at the school.
Not only that, but they were also told that the star of the commercial was Kyo Evans, one of the school's students.
Naturally, everyone knew Kyo, so the news caused quite a stir.
Mirai, who was sitting in her classroom, was practically counting the seconds.
Would she appear in the commercial?
She wanted to appear!
The same went for Aiko, Mei, and Sakura—Kyo's three "friends."
The only ones fortunate enough to have seen him sing live.

"Attention, students! Filming will begin during lunch break. Please try to act naturally."
That was the only announcement they received.
Miu heard it and thought,
'I wonder where Kyo is right now? Where are they going to film the first scenes?' She stood up, and as soon as she did, the girl sitting next to her asked,
"Hey, are you going to look for Kyo? You'll just get in the way if you do that." Miu knew she could become a distraction if she got too close. She just wanted to watch.
"It's okay. I won't get in anyone's way. I just want to watch..." She smiled.
She wanted to see Kyo acting.
She wanted to know what it looked like.
"Can I come with you?"
"Huh? Oh, sure."
Miu looked confused since that girl never usually talked to her.
The two left the classroom together and headed toward the school cafeteria, each carrying a bento.
Miu rarely ate there, but if she wanted to watch the filming, she had no choice. As soon as she sat down, the other girl sat beside her. The girl looked around excitedly.
Soon, many students began taking seats near Miu.
Not long afterward, members of the production crew started arriving.
They carried microphones and cameras.
All the students were impressed by the sight.
Miu looked around, searching for Kyo.
Then the director stepped into the center of the cafeteria and began giving instructions.
He was practically issuing orders to the students, and they were more than willing to follow them.
Everyone wanted a chance to appear on television.
Miu, however, was still busy searching for Kyo and paid no attention to what the director was saying.
