On the paper, there wasn't anything handwritten—there was an image. It was a screenshot of an email. An email someone had sent to my personal address about "Koe no Katachi." It was an email I had never seen before.
Then I remembered—the guy had said he sent my script to his sister who works at a studio. 'The surname matches… Nakamura. Asuna Nakamura—right, this must be an email from that guy's sister.'
There was nothing in that email that pointed to me as Aoi Haruki. It was just a normal email someone would send to the author.
But my reaction had been suspicious.
When I saw the email, my eyes widened, and I was clearly surprised.
The woman noticed—and she smiled.
'She did that to test me. She already suspects I'm Aoi Haruki and deliberately handed me that paper to see my reaction. I should've controlled myself.' I got irritated at myself.
I started cursing myself internally.
Then I smiled at the woman and gave her an autograph.
I handed the paper back calmly and walked away. "Let's go, Daiki."
Daiki asked, "What was that? Is she really your fan?"
"Yes, just a very passionate fan."
I glanced back—the woman was still looking at me. Our eyes met, and she smiled. 'Why did this have to happen now? Well, at least I memorized her face.'
I had also managed to read her name on a small badge she was wearing.
'She probably wants me to contact her?'
Too bad—I'm not the one who's going to contact you.
As soon as I got into the car, I messaged Rina about what had just happened and gave her the woman's name. A few minutes later, after I got home, Rina replied:
[Alright, I've already found out who she is. She's quite problematic. Is she certain you're Aoi Haruki?]
Once I got to my room, I replied:
[I don't think she's certain, but she has strong suspicions. Please handle it. I don't want to deal with her.]
A while later, Rina responded:
[Don't worry—that's our job.]
I really hope this agency is as good as it seems.

When I got home, my mother and father were waiting for me in the living room. They were sitting on the sofa, but as soon as they saw me, they stood up and stared at me.
They were angry.
It had been a long time since they were this upset with me.
"Start talking," my father said firmly.
"Calm down."
"There's no 'calm down.' Start explaining right now. That money is yours, but you need to inform us before making such an expensive purchase! What did you buy?" he demanded.
I sighed.
"Alright, dear, don't shout so much. Kyo, come sit here with your mother." I sat beside her on the couch, and she looked me in the eyes. "So, what did you spend all that money on?"
"I nearly had a heart attack when I got the bank message saying 16 million had been spent. I thought I was going to faint."
"That's enough—let Kyo speak."
"Okay, okay, I get it. Dad's birthday is coming up, right?"
"Yes, next month."
"Because of that, I decided to buy a gift in advance. I made the decision pretty suddenly—I admit it was impulsive."
My father looked surprised. "A gift… for me?"
"Well, it's for you—but it's something that benefits the whole family. Don't you remember when I asked why you hadn't changed cars and you said you didn't have the money?"
"Wait a second. You bought a car!?" My father couldn't believe it. "How did you even do that? You're too young."
"Daiki helped me."
"Daiki?" My father had forgotten my driver's name.
"Daiki is Kyo's driver," my mother explained.
"Your driver helped you buy a car? Hahaha…" My father laughed nervously, then continued, "But why? It wasn't necessary. And 16 million? What kind of car did you buy!?"
"A BMW," I replied.
"BMW!?"
"BMW!?"
They both said it at the same time.
"Yes. It'll be delivered next week. After next week's filming, you'll come with me to the dealership." I looked at my father.
"Kyo, I know it's a gift and you're doing this because you care about your father, but I think it's better if you cancel this purchase—this is—"
"It's impossible to cancel."
I stood up.
"It's a gift. You'd better accept it."
After saying that, I left them in the living room and went to my room.
Once there, I took a shower and sat in front of my computer.
"It's time to get back to work."

When I looked out the window, it was already dawn.
I had spent the entire night writing chapters of Dragon Ball and also worked a bit on volume 5 of Tensura. I'm almost done with it.
"Damn… now I'm exhausted, and I still have to go to school."
I got up and washed my face.
I left the house before my mother woke up and, with my bag, walked to a nearby bakery. After going in, I ordered a coffee and two sandwiches, then sat down to write a bit more.
'I can stay here for another hour.'
I decided to finish volume five of Tensura right then.
An hour passed.
I let out a long yawn and sent a message to Daiki.
A few minutes later, he arrived in front of the bakery, and I got into the car.
"How did it go yesterday? Were your parents very angry?"
I didn't answer. Instead, I said, "I'm sleepy. I'll sleep until we get to school."
"Alright." Daiki understood.
But I couldn't sleep at all. Soon, we arrived at the school gate, and Daiki woke me up.
"Thanks, Daiki."
"Have a good day, Kyo."
"I'll try."
I walked through the school hallways, ignoring the stares while yawning. When I reached my classroom door, I saw someone.
"Miu?"
"Good morning, Kyo." She gave me a slight smile. "Can we talk?"
"Sure."
As soon as I answered, people around us immediately started spreading rumors.
I hate kids and teenagers.
