The battlefield was drenched in moonlight, the cursed beasts' growls echoing across the plains.
The fox girl stood trembling, clutching her hands as small flames of foxfire flickered and danced around her.
> "I… I can feel it," she whispered.
"The power… it's alive inside me!"
The Ex's Rampage
Her ex, now fully consumed by darkness, raised a cursed sigil, calling forth larger and more twisted monsters.
> "Burn! Destroy! She will kneel before me!"
His voice carried malice that warped reality, and the ground itself began to crack.
The Hidden Protector
From the shadows, Cael watched, his alias "Riven Kael" fully concealing his presence.
No aura revealed him, yet every cursed beast moved hesitantly, instinctively sensing Absolute Atomic energy.
Selene and the Seven Shadows flitted through the battlefield, guiding and subtly protecting the fox girl without her noticing.
> "Let her awaken fully," Cael whispered softly.
"The more she grows, the faster her ex reveals his flaws."
Foxfire Unleashed
The fox girl concentrated, her foxfire flaring brighter than ever, forming tails of golden flame that struck at cursed beasts with precision.
Her movements were clumsy but powerful, each strike fueled by a faint memory of someone protecting her long ago.
The cursed beasts faltered, some evaporating instantly under the pure force of her awakening magic.
> "I… I remember… a shadow…" she whispered.
"Someone saved me before… but who?"
The Ex's Desperation
Her ex, seeing the fox girl's power, roared in rage and unleashed a wave of corrupted energy.
Shadows shifted, intercepting some attacks.
Trees bent and cracked, but nothing touched the fox girl.
Invisible strikes from Cael erased the strongest of the cursed beasts, leaving the ex baffled.
> "What… what is this power?!" he screamed, panic creeping in.
A Silent Victory
The fox girl, guided subtly by Cael and Selene, gained confidence with every attack.
Her ex began to realize he was being manipulated by a force he could not see or touch.
Cael remained hidden, watching and smiling faintly.
> "She awakens… perfect," Cael whispered.
"Let her remember slowly. Let him stumble… the world bends to the unseen, and Absolute Atomic remains untouchable."
The foxfire burned brighter, the shadows shifted, and the battlefield fell under the silent control of the Absolute Shadow Sovereign.
