Chapter 31 - The Stirring of the Primordials

Volume 2, Chapter 6: The Stirring of the Primordials

The calm that followed the Siege of Shadows lasted barely a week.

From the farthest edges of the cosmos realms untouched by mortals or godsprimordial eyes opened.

Beings older than creation itself, the Primordials, had noticed the pulse of Absolute Atomic energy that had erased devils, sealed gods, and defeated rogue factions.

> "So… the mortal dares to hold the balance," a voice older than time hissed.

"Absolute power has awoken in a shadow-born child."

The Warning

In the Shadow Sanctuary, Cael's senses flared like a million suns.

He walked calmly through the training hall, the Vampire Queen beside him, shadows rippling across the stone walls.

> "The Primordials are stirring," the Witch of Creation warned. "They have never interfered in mortal affairs… but your presence has drawn their attention."

The Vampire Queen's crimson eyes narrowed.

> "Older than gods, and they come now… why?"

> "Because balance is threatened," Cael replied softly, voice like steel and calm water.

"Absolute Atomic cannot exist without being tested. And now… they will test us."

Synchronized Power

The Vampire Queen stepped forward, her aura now perfectly harmonized with Cael's Absolute Atomic resonance.

> "Then we prepare," she said. "And I will fight beside you, as your shadow and sword."

Atomic shadows extended from Cael, intertwining with her crimson energy. Together, they created a dual resonance, a network of atomic and primordial blood energy that flowed across the Shadow Sanctuary.

> "Seven Shadows," Cael said, "integrate your new powers with hers. We will be a single force, unstoppable and absolute."

The Seven Shadows moved in perfect synchrony, their energy weaving into a network of living defense, capable of detecting and neutralizing threats across multiple realms before they could reach the mortal world.

Liora could now project atomic blades across dimensions.

Riven could absorb primordial energy and redirect it instantly.

Selene's strikes could shatter barriers older than the kingdoms.

Kael warped space to create unbreachable zones.

Tarya moved unseen, invisible even to entities beyond time.

Orin multiplied attacks with vampiric resonance, overwhelming multiple foes at once.

Lyric controlled energy currents, redirecting attacks with surgical precision.

Together, with the Vampire Queen, they were more than warriors they were a multiversal force, prepared to face the Primordials themselves.

The First Sign

Far above the mortal world, a rift tore open the sky. A faint glow at first, then a massive form emerged a colossal, serpentine being with eyes like black stars, scales that shimmered like shattered galaxies, and wings spanning dimensions.

> "The Primordial Serpent," the Witch whispered. "It is the scout… the herald of what comes."

The Vampire Queen's fangs glimmered, and her aura flared.

> "It dares approach the mortal world… it will die tonight."

Cael's shadow extended, coiling like infinity around him.

> "This is the beginning," he said softly.

"If they wish to test Absolute Atomic… let them feel it in full."

The Seven Shadows surged forward, shadows stretching beyond the horizon, fusing with the Vampire Queen's crimson energy. Atomic resonance rippled outward, blinding, reshaping reality, creating a barrier of unbreakable shadow and blood energy.

> "Primordials," Cael whispered, voice calm as a god and deadly as a blade,

"know this: mortals may be small, but shadows born from Absolute Atomic… are infinite.

The Serpent recoiled, sensing the overwhelming resonance. But even it, ancient beyond measure, would not falter long. Its arrival was only the first wave of an incoming storm a herald of the Primordials' full awakening.

The Calm Before the Storm

Cael looked at the Vampire Queen, the Seven Shadows, and the Witch.

> "Prepare yourselves," he said. "This war will test everything. The Primordials do not forgive weakness. They will come… and we must be ready."

The Vampire Queen's crimson aura coiled around him like fire.

> "Then we fight as one," she said.

"And the universe will remember the name of Absolute Atomic."

The shadows pulsed, the crimson fire flared, and a calm tension filled the world.

For the first time since his rise, Cael felt the full scope of what awaited: the oldest beings in existence had begun their march toward the mortal world.

And the Age of Primordials had officially begun.
