The blinding light faded, and Alex stumbled, blinking rapidly.
Where he had landed was… strange.
A massive mansion loomed before him, dark yet extravagant, its windows glowing with flickering lights. The wind carried faint echoes of laughter, shouts, and—oddly—muffled screams. A chill ran down his spine.

Alex took a careful step forward. The gates creaked loudly, and the mansion doors slowly swung open, as if inviting him in.

Inside, the mansion was a riot of color and sound. Music thumped through the halls, strange decorations hung from the ceilings, and everywhere he looked, people were… acting strangely. Laughing too loud, sneaking behind corners, whispering, and glancing at him as if they already knew he was there.

But before he could move, the mansion seemed to shift around him. Doors appeared where there had been walls, staircases twisted, and laughter echoed from every corner.
"This… this place is alive!" he muttered.
Alex squared his shoulders. "Alright, mansion or no mansion,
Here I come ."
And with that, he stepped further inside — unaware that every move he made was being watched by a female ghost
