Chapter 70 - CHAPTER 70 — Pyre Of Amour

The clash between fire and bone was silenced in an instant.

Yoi Ohara, was silent until now, she stepped forward with shadows writhing around her skeletal frame.

Her eyes glowed faintly, and with a sudden surge of power she extended her hand.

"Okay, Realm Creation: Poison Swarm of Death."

Her voice echoed across the arena, chilling and absolute, carrying the weight of finality.

The battlefield shifted violently.

A massive barrier erupted around them, shimmering with dark energy that pulsed like a living heart.

It rose high into the sky, sealing itself shut with a thunderous snap.

Venomous light coursed across its surface, veins of shadow spreading outward like cracks in reality itself.

The crowd gasped as the dome locked into place, an unbreakable prison of poison and shadow. Inside, only two figures remained: Yoi and Sai.

Ban, who had been standing in front of Sai, was shoved aside by Yoi's sudden force.

He stumbled back, his dragon-skeletal body glowing faintly as he found himself outside the barrier, unable to re-enter.

His claws scraped against the dome's surface, sparks flying, but the barrier did not yield.

His eyes narrowed, frustration burning within him, yet even he knew the truth: once a realm was created, its rules were absolute.

The air inside the dome grew heavy, suffocating.

Poison mist seeped from Yoi's body, curling across the ground like serpents hunting prey.

Shadows twisted unnaturally, forming grotesque shapes that hissed and writhed, as though the barrier itself was alive and hungry.

Every breath was thick with venom, the atmosphere pressing down like a crushing weight.

Sai stood tall within the dome, his fire armour blazing defiantly against the encroaching darkness.

His sword of flame hummed with heat, its glow pushing back the poisonous mist in radiant arcs.

His aura burned brighter, a beacon of defiance in the suffocating gloom.

His eyes locked on Yoi, unwavering, knowing this was no ordinary duel, this was a battle within her realm, where she held absolute control.

Outside the barrier, Ban watched with frustration, his claws flexing, his skeletal wings twitching as though ready to tear the dome apart.

Yet he remained powerless, forced to witness.

Beside him, Kane Eguchi stood silent, his gaze sharp and calculating. The air around him rippled faintly, bending as though time itself leaned toward his will.

The monarchs leaned forward in their stands, their expressions grave. They knew the gravity of what was unfolding.

Realms were not mere techniques, they were declarations of supremacy, battles fought on the very fabric of existence.

Inside the dome, Yoi's voice cut through the mist like a blade. "Within my realm, flame will wither. Every breath you take will poison you. Every step you make will feed the swarm. This is the end, Sai Fukuda."

Sai's grip tightened on his sword.

His armour flared, fire roaring outward in defiance, the dome trembling under the clash of poison and flame.

Sparks of light and shadow collided, hissing violently as the two forces prepared to consume one another.

Inside the suffocating dome of shadows and poison, Sai's fiery armour flickered under the crushing weight of Yoi's Poison Swarm of Death.

The mist hissed against his flames, gnawing at their edges, while Yoi stood tall, her skeletal frame cloaked in venomous aura, her presence suffocating and absolute.

But Sai's eyes burned with defiance.

He reached into his armour and pulled out a dagger, its blade forged of Vengestone, the cursed material whispered of in legends, said to nullify regeneration and corrupt magic itself.

The crowd gasped as the weapon gleamed in the dim light, its aura radiating danger so palpable it seemed to silence the air.

With a roar that shook the dome, Sai hurled the dagger straight into the barrier wall of the realm.

The moment the blade struck, the dome convulsed violently.

Cracks of light spread across its surface like jagged lightning bolts, the poison mist recoiling as if in agony.

Yoi's eyes widened, disbelief etched across her skeletal features. "Impossible…" she hissed, shadows writhing in panic, her control unravelling.

The barrier groaned, its unbreakable surface fracturing under the dagger's cursed energy.

Then, with a deafening explosion, the dome shattered into shards of dark energy that dissolved into nothingness.

The realm collapsed, its poisonous atmosphere vanishing in an instant, leaving only silence and the echo of destruction.

Sai stood tall amidst the fading mist, his fire armour blazing brighter than ever, his sword of flame humming with renewed power. He smirked; crimson eyes locked on Yoi. "Your realm won't cage me," he declared, his voice echoing across the arena like a war drum.

Outside, Ban and Kane watched as the battlefield was restored to its natural state. Ban's dragon-skeletal frame glowed faintly, his claws flexing in anticipation, his wings twitching with restrained fury.

Kane remained still, his aura rippling with quiet menace, as though time itself bent toward his will.

The monarchs leaned forward in their stands, their eyes sharp, sensing the gravity of what had just unfolded.

Realms were meant to be absolute, unbreakable.

Yet Sai had shattered one with sheer defiance and cursed steel.

Yoi staggered, her aura flickering, venom dripping from her skeletal hands.

Her voice trembled with rage. "You dare… defy the laws of my dominion?"

Sai raised his sword, flames coiling around him like serpents ready to strike. "I do not bow to laws. I break them."

The battlefield trembled, the air thick with anticipation.

Ban's claws scraped against stone, Kane's gaze sharpened, and Yoi's shadows writhed in fury.

The crowd held its breath, knowing the next clash would not be a duel, it would be a war.
