"Not good!" Al was about to speak up to stop them when he realized that Milim was no longer in her seat.
"There's definitely not going to be a single survivor now." Al slapped his forehead. He knew better than anyone the consequences of disturbing Milim while she was eating.
Linlin patted Al's back, her expression still relaxed. "Six-legged toads are hard to find in this era, but aren't two-legged pirates everywhere?"
"Let's go, let's go have a look." Linlin walked towards the outside of the ship.
"Sigh!" Al let out a breath and followed close behind.
...
A full fifteen pirate ships surrounded the Demon King, completely encircling it.
On the largest pirate ship, a pirate wearing a captain's hat greedily eyed the massive Demon King.
He had never seen the flag on it before, and he had gotten so close without anyone on board noticing. They were clearly rookies who had just set sail.
As a senior, he naturally had to teach these newcomers a good lesson. The sea is a dangerous place, and not just anyone can make a name for themselves on it!
The pirate captain, while ordering his underlings to reload the cannons for the next volley, noticed one of them staring blankly up at the sky.
"Didn't you hear me? I told you to load the cannons!" The pirate captain kicked the underling to the ground.
The underling snapped out of his daze and hurriedly pointed at the sky. "Captain, someone's flying in the sky."
"Hmm?" The pirate captain slowly raised his head. Against the glare of the sun, a dark figure stood in the sky. From this distance, he could only see two bright red pigtails fluttering in the air.
As the pirate captain watched, the dark figure slowly raised a hand, and a visible red aura gathered around it.
"It's a Devil Fruit user!" the pirate captain shouted in disbelief, his eyes wide. "Aim the cannons at that guy in the sky and shoot him down!"
Milim stood in the air, her twin-tails swaying in the wind, her cape fluttering behind her. Her usually somewhat dazed eyes had become sharp.
"Annoying pests! How dare you disturb me while I'm eating." Magic power gathered in her hand, and a crimson sphere of light formed.
She then flung it towards the pirate ships.
[Dragon Nova]
(This is Milim's ultimate move, used with suppressed power, mercy, and a wide area of effect, capable of destroying the Demon Lord-class Charybdis in a single blow.)
The crimson sphere flew into the air and instantly transformed into countless scorching rays of light, precisely hitting all the pirate ships surrounding the Demon King.
A continuous series of explosions echoed across the sea. Fiery orbs expanded on the surface of the water before slowly shrinking and disappearing.
Along with them, the fifteen pirate ships vanished, leaving only dust drifting in the sky.
Al looked at the terrifying scene before him and couldn't help but exclaim from the bottom of his heart, "No matter how many times I see it, the boss's strength is inhuman. Even a giant would probably be no match for her."
"Mamama!" Linlin laughed, her eyes fixed on Milim. "Al, your perspective is still too narrow. This isn't Milim's full power. She hasn't even used half of her strength."
Al's eyes widened dramatically. He had thought that this might not be Milim's full power, but for it to be less than half... wasn't that a bit too exaggerated?
"The world is still vast, and there are many strong people we haven't even met. So, Al, you need to train even harder." After saying this, Linlin paid no more attention to Al and turned to walk back into the dining hall.
Al reached out and caught a piece of burning ash, muttering to himself, "How big is the real world, I wonder!"
After this battle, the Demon King encountered a few more pirates, but they were all dealt with by Linlin and Al. They also captured nearly twenty pirate crews.
It had to be said that in this era, the seas were teeming with pirates. They encountered them almost everywhere they went.
Perhaps this had something to do with Rocks. Milim opened the newspaper in her hand and saw the headline: Rocks had once again recruited a great pirate, Shiki, through his pirate game.
In the middle section was a pirate star, the Kuja Pirates, appearing on Noll Island, where the residents willingly offered all their treasure.
And at the very bottom was a photo of Milim destroying fifteen pirate ships in a single blow, with her bounty printed in the newspaper.
Destruction Tyrant, Milim!
Bounty: 500 million Berries.
Milim casually tossed the newspaper aside after reading it, saying with some dissatisfaction, "Why only 500 million Berries? It doesn't fit my status at all!"
"And I was fighting pirates, so why did the Marines issue a bounty for me?"
"Everyone knows the Marines issue bounties for any powerful person they see sailing the seas. Besides, our flag looks too much like a pirate flag!"
"So stop complaining, Milim. At least your epithet is cool. Unlike me, the Marines gave me the nickname 'Iron Skin'. The next time I meet the Marines, I'll definitely beat them up," Charlotte Linlin said, tossing her newspaper away in dissatisfaction. Her bounty was only 200 million Berries.
And as for Al, standing in the corner, his epithet was "Big Mouth Fish-Man," and his bounty was a mere 50 million Berries.
Although Al wanted to pretend he didn't exist, he ultimately couldn't escape Milim's ridicule.
"Hahahaha! Big Mouth Fish-Man, Al, your name is so funny!" Milim's Dragon Eyes could see anything she wanted, so a quick glance at Al's wanted poster revealed his nickname, and she let out a merciless laugh.
"Damn it! I'm irreconcilable with the Marines!" Al clutched his head and ran out crying.
Milim stared blankly at Al's retreating figure. "Al is so fragile! Crying like that over a mere nickname. He's not manly at all."
"Milim, I just received a message. All of your little cakes have fallen into the water," Linlin's voice came leisurely from behind Milim.
"Eh? You're kidding, right?" Hearing this, the smile on Milim's face gradually disappeared, and tears began to well up in her eyes. She then hurriedly ran out after Al.
"No, my little cakes!"
"They're both just as fragile, so what's with the act?" Linlin sneered, easily manipulating them.
A few more days passed quickly. The number of pirate ships trailing behind them grew, and the Demon King finally reached its destination: Spring Island!
The Demon King docked by the shore, and Milim eagerly jumped off the ship. The first thing she saw was a vast, continuous forest.
Linlin and Al followed close behind, while the other crew members escorted the captured pirate crews onto Spring Island.
Milim looked around the island, then jumped forcefully into the air. When she should have fallen back down, Milim found herself floating in mid-air.
Although her body was still slowly descending, a little effort would send her flying higher.
"Wow! I can really fly!" Milim swam through the sky, looking very cheerful.
