Chapter 15 - Emergence

Stacy smiled at Colt "Did you hear that, your wolf's name is Declan love." Colt, who was still recovering from the whole experience with Dev, grinned goofily at Stacy. "That was...Epic!" Adrenaline started taking over and everyone talking over each other with excitement. Being able to communicate with the more than emotions could open the door to so many possibilities!

There was still almost 2 hours until lunch so the group decided to give Stacy the Grand tour of the pack house together. They decided to start at the basement and work her way up. When they reached the basement Stacy gasped.

The floor was a dark navy with swirls of purples, blues and pinks. Tiny silver specks made the floor twinkle in the light. The more she looked the more she realized that what she was looking at was outer space, The recognition of galaxies and planets inspired awe. Colt whispered in her ear "Epoxy resin. Do you like it?". Stacy's eyes sparkled "Colt, it's breathtaking!"

There were six desks in total, all were industrial rustic in design with matching book cases and file cabinets behind them. All the desks looked ready for business with 2 monitors and a laptop, bins for mail and pens. On each desk were name plates Alpha Colton Myers, Alpha and Luna Stacy Bloodmoon-Myers, Beta Isaac Wingrove Ecomic Affairs, Beta Charlie Wingrove Military and Defence, Gamma Hunter Wingrove Lawyer and Case Study, Dixie Wingrove Special Advisor and Public Relations.

The art for the walls were prints of Stacy's favorite impressionist artists. Van Gogh's Irises and Starry Night, Leonid Afremov's Farewell to Anger and Melody of the night, so many others. "Colt, how did you know?" Colt grinned sheepishly and rubbed the back of his neck "I may or may not of had things from your old room shipped here. You had a book about impressionist and marked all your favorite paintings. So I ordered prints." Stacy was smiling wide, that was so considerate of her to find out what she likes.

The room was spacious and comfortable with plush chairs and industrial side tables that littered the room. In the back there was a room separated by glass with shelves lined in books, a giant table sat in the middle. With pens and notebooks space throughout. What really stole the show was the floor to ceiling windows. It didn't feel like a basement.

The tour continues to the first floor Stacy knew about the den, there were three bedrooms all with small en suite bathrooms, a living room, the dining room and the kitchen. On the second floor was Colts office and four bedrooms, the third and fourth floors were the family quarters. Colt and Stacy's room was similar to a small apartment with a bedroom, living area, bathroom, kitchenette and of course that ridiculously large closet.

Stacy thanked the stars that Colt had the room cleaned and repaired. The embarrassment would have been too much. By the end of the tour she was starving and was thankful for lunch time. Over lunch Dixie went over the weekend plans. Tonight will be a quiet family night and the Shamen will come to perform the blood bond ceremony and there will be cake and champagne afterwards to celebrate. Saturday will begin at 10 am for lunch, afternoon tea, and end with a BBQ and Bonfire. The whole day will be spent meeting the pack.

After lunch Colt and Stacy returned to their room to change into workout gear. They had the whole afternoon to work on connecting with Declan. Colt had the items that Devany requested delivered to the yoga studio while they were touring the pack house. Colt who was usually confident felt nervous and insecure. He wanted to meet his wolf and have that guidance, his pack would benefit from the wisdom of the wolf. Walking hand in hand with Stacy settled his nerves as they made their way to their new training center. Colt loved how just by touching her, she can calm him.

In the yoga studio, Colt and Stacy moved like this was something they have done a million times. As Stacy lit the jasmine candles Colt pressed a button on the wall that closed the blinds. Stacy grabbed two yoga mats and set them side by side. She placed the large crystals of amethyst, labradorite, angelite, rose quartz, green aventurine, citrine and red jasper in a circle around the mats. When Stacy was done she stood in the center and let Dev take over. She turned to Colt with her silver eyes shining and held out her hand to him. "Are you ready?" Colt nodded his head and stepped into the circle.

Immediately Colt felt a buzzing in his feet, the small vibrations calmed him as the buzzing made it's way up his body. When it reached the crown of his head he noticed the faint glowing from the crystals. Devany said to Colt in the link "Sit like me" as she guided him into a Lotus position. "Now connect to the earth love. Back straight, head over heart, heart over pelvis...very good" she smiled at him encouragingly "Connect your sit bones to the earth, wiggle a bit until it feels right. There you go, you got it". Devany was patient with Colt, she was nervous just as much as he was with the anticipation of talking to her mate.

"Close your eyes and breath deeply through your nose, exhale and count to ten, calm your mind and heart. Breath again, feel the energy of the earth move through your body." Devany noticed that the crystals were starting to glow more brighter.

"Werewolves are ancient creatures. We have lived besides humans in harmony until some thought our species was superior than humans. Great wolf civilizations rose and fell from the arrogance of the wolves. The Egyptians, Romans, and Vikings sought to rule over other wolf nations and to enslave humanity. The Bhartiya of India, the Monks of Tibet, the Yamabushi of Japan sought to preserve the connection with wolves, nature, and humans. Today we call upon our Bhartiya ancestors to guide us as we revive the connection with our inner self, today we call up our ancestor Lucretius to guide us to revive the connection to the earth, today we call upon our ancestors the Yamabushi to guide us in reconnecting of wolves to nature."

Devany mixed the leaves of jasmine, yarrow, and mugwort into a tea cup and poured hot water over the leaves, creating an intoxicating scent. Using the link "Colt open your eyes". Colt obeyed and looked deeply into her silvery eyes. "Hac potione aperio animum meum ad orbem orcanum, accipio dona quae intus lacent, discam intra universum, utdivianaum coniunctionem meam intellagan" she chanted as she placed the cup into Colt's hands and encouraged him to drink. The Crystals were getting brighter by the second.

"Declan I know you can hear me, I know you want to speak. Relax, clear your heart and mind. The curse cast by the Roman witches has been broken. Our kind has been silenced for centuries. The time has come for us to reclaim our heritage, to reclaim the sanctity of our species. The time has come to speak and connect with our human form so we can teach them to love and respect nature. Find your voice love"

"AAAAWOOOOO!" Declan howled, it was so powerful that the windows shook. The crystals were glowing so bright it cast beams of rainbow colored light so bright that the blinds were powerless. Before her stood a very large black wolf with a moon shaped patch of white fur on his chest. Declan was panting on the verge of panic, then Stacy felt Devany leap forward and shift into her wolf suddenly, she retreated as the two wolves jumped around each other in excitement and nuzzled each other. Stacy heard Declan's husky voice "Devany".

Colt was stunned as he heard Declan say "Devany". Colt asked him "Can you talk now?". Declan responded "Yes, I can finally speak. We have a lot to talk about, but if you don't mind...my mate" Colt understood and asked "What do I do? I'm not sure.." Declan laughed "Take a nap, I will be a few minutes".

Colt sent a mind link to his family " Everything is fine, we can get together soon but Declan and Devany need some privacy to uh...connect" he laughed teasingly. Then he closed his eyes and marveled at the new sensation. Colt could feel his body, his eyes, his fingers but at the same time he knew it wasn't his physical body. Slowly Colt drifted asleep thinking about how crazy his life has been the past few days.

When Colt woke, he was laying in bed. He went to reach for Stacy and she wasn't there. Panicking Colt sat straight up and started searching the room with his eyes. He found her on the patio. Colt pulled on a pair of boxers, his angel was in one of the chaise loungers with her knees brought up to her chest crying into her knees.

Colt eased in behind her and wrapped his arms around her. "Baby, what's wrong?"

Through her tears she said "Colt this is all so much. A week ago I was planning my summer internship and going to college in the fall. In high school I did my best to lay low and stay irrelevant. I knew nothing about anything! The woman who I knew as my mother was actually Dark Fae who wanted to use me goddess knows what and today I'm a Luna! How does anyone expect me to help them when I can't help myself!"

Colt hugged her close and let his touch calm her. This was a lot for anyone, the mental gymnastics that she must be going through pained him. He waited patiently while she cried it out and calmed down. When the tears stopped he turned her around and let her head lay on his bare chest. "Stacy, look at me". Stacy lifted her head to meet his eyes.

"Stace, I know this is a lot. You are allowed to grieve for the life you thought you had. You are allowed to grieve for the family and pack you never knew. I can't imagine how overwhelming all this is, but you are the smartest most resilient person I've ever met. If you weren't my fates mate, I would fall in love you for those qualities alone." He tucked a lock of her silver hair behind her ear and kissed her forehead.

"As for being a Luna, I wouldn't worry too much about it. My parents destroyed our pack. It's up to us to rebuild it, better and stronger. We will face this together and we have our family to back us up."

Stacy smiled at him and nuzzles his chest "How do you always know the right thing to say?" Colt kissed her forehead again "Cause I'm perfect"

They held each other and watched the sunset. Stacy's stomach growled and Colt laughed and said "Let's get ready for dinner."

Dinner was a pleasant event with laughter and optimism for the future. After dinner the group flowed into the garden. There the Shamen was preparing the altar and the rich scents of chamomile, lavender, cinnamon and so many unnamed spices filled the air.

The blood bond ceremony was magical. The Shaman directed each member of the Wingrove family and Stacy, approaching each person the Shamen sliced each a small gash in each right hand. Each family member put their bloody hands over the fire and as their blood mixed with the flames they spoke in unison "Blood of my blood, bind us together as mother, daughter, and sons. Sister and brothers as the off-spring of mother Dixie Wingrove. The family that was given and the family chosen are now bonded in this life." When they opened their eyes everyone gasped and the Shamen dropped to his knees in shock.
