Pulling their hands back from the shoulders of the small boys. The fast awakened answered.
"How I knew that I awakened... I just knew it and felt my body being stronger and later I went to the association and tested it on a machine which examines your body.
Cane decided to ask another question, because he didn't hear anything about a blue screen appearing.
"Did you see something while awakening, something you didn't saw before?"
Crossing their arms, the awakened thought for a little bit.
Then they explained that their senses just sharpened and that they needed some time to adjust to the new amount of information their senses picked up.
They both stood up, while Speedrunner regularly stood up, Cane still needed his stick. The boy noticed that he only needs his stick for 'hard' movement like standing up or speed walking.
Seeing that the young boy was fine, the intrigued streamer decided to leave for now.
After Speedrunner left, Cane decided to look at the screen again. Thinking about how to summon it, he thought about two words; Not because it was his idea, but because they just came to his mind.
'System open'
After saying those two words he saw the screen appear.

Now looking at the screen, the boy saw his newly acquired name, his not existing class.
'Did receiving a name give me power? No, if that was the case, everyone should have this system with receiving a name.'
Looking how his body was rated was no surprise to the boy, he was slightly impaired and couldn't really walk without his stick, at least it was like that before.
What he didn't know was what 'Mind' meant, was it his intelligence or his awareness or even his spiritual connection? At least it was better than his body, but how good was average? How many stars were average, three stars?
Looking at the last segment, he saw that he had three skills. Two out of those three skills were locked, but one of those wasn't, 'Superior Regeneration'.

Looking at the window he opened the next skill, opening the exact same screen, telling him that he doesn't meet the requirements.
A deep sigh escaped his mouth, which was not as dry as usually because of the water given to him by Speedrunner.
He didn't know what to do, should he go outside?
The boy decided against it, maybe some of Dorian's lackeys would tell their boss of they saw Cane without a scratch.
Cane didn't know what to do. Should he wait until Speedrunner comes back and ask the streamer to take him inside the City?
Or should he wait till the next government supply and gather enough food, so he can regenerate his body more.
Cane waited until it was Nighttime, he picked the coat of the ground, equipped his rucksack and he put his stick on his shoulder, since he can walk without it if he stays at a reasonable pace.
There was another reason why he didn't wan to use his stick as a cane, he didn't want the other 'corpses' to identify him in the night or pick on him because he was weak.
Looking outside he thought that it was dark enough, the sun was already down, but the moon and stars emitted enough light to see the streets.
Cane felt alive, it was the first time, since he can actively remember, that he can walk without aid.
A smile crept up his face not a small unnoticeable smile; No a big smile gleaming
Looking ahead of the street he didn't know where to go, he never extended his search because he couldn't really walk, so seeing the broken streets which were new for him, Cane almost wanted to celebrate.
Pulling himself together he first wanted to scavenge food from building where nobody was right now, usually that wouldn't be possible, but many people died because of the spatial crack yesterday, so he tried his luck.
Walking from building to building. He went and tried to see or listen if anybody was in there.
Some houses or buildings were empty, looking inside he couldn't find anything. Cane kept searching in the of finding, but after searching more buildings, the boy heard a familiar voice exiting one.
"Look at how much we could scavenge, Daniel. The building is not even empty boss will probably raise our rations for the week."
"Yeah."
Two of dorians lackey were exiting the building, hands full of this week's rations. The first one was the person cane heard in front of his house, this was the reason why he hid himself.
After the two guys walked away, Cane hurried inside the house. the house had several rooms, after searching for some minutes he found what he was searching for, seven of the same bread loafs he found in his bag over twenty energy bars and a three water bottles.
"Jackpot..." escaped silently from his lip
He put as much of it in his rucksack as he could, that includes three bread loafs and ten energy bars and the three water bottles. He also hold several energy bars in his hands, planning to eat them while walking.
Luckily he walked the opposite directions the lackeys took. Making his way home, while eating the energy bars. He felt the energy in his body restore, making his rucksack feel lighter.
