Chapter 20 - The World of Thunder

As the Heavenly Karmic Law descended onto him as numerous thunderbolts, a thin crack appeared on a space next to him. Through that crack, he was instantly traveled into another unknown dimension by an extreme pull.

In the backstabbed state, he fell on a pitch dark cloudy object on that dimension. Next to him, the scepter also materialized. He was literally trembling in agony. He was in no state to feel anything. He slowly lost consciousness from the pain.

He didn't know for how long, but after quite a while, he woke up. With his surprise, when he woke up, he noticed all his wounds got healed surprisingly, though he couldn't notice the spear anywhere.

At that moment, he could look at the surroundings. He was surprised to see that, in which dimension he was brought, was filled with boundless darkness, and often brilliant different colors of horrible thunderstorms, thunderbolts, and lightning strike occurred in that place, emanating the place colorful in that moment only.

He realized that, he was sitting on a thundercloud, a cluster of thunderbolts occurred once in a thousands years. Thus, he noticed thousands of thunderclouds levitating across the realm. He was more amazed to sense that, those dangerous and destructive thunders had no effect on him, because he could clearly see that, the place was filled with rocky mountains but whenever those thunderbolts stuck on the ground, under it's blow hundreds of mountains got annihilated in an instant.

He touched a thread of thunder amid the thundercloud lightly and slowly, out of fear. But surprisingly nothing happened, rather he could sense his spirituality got instantly replenished. He felt a bit suspicious about what was exactly going on there.

He waved his hand and instantly a magnifying glass materialized in front of him at the vacant space, by extracting some of his spiritual energy.

"I didn't expect it to use here..." He said in his mind.

After that, he slowly held the glass close to his eyes, and what he noticed beyond the glass made him shocked and surprised.

That magnifying glass was one of the legendary magical treasure he had before he had descended on the city. It's main skill was to analyze, inspect, and track the hidden truth behind any energy.

So, with it's help, he was shocked to reveal the hidden truth behind those thunders why only he was unaffected of them. Those thunderbolts were none other than the clusters of multiple different kinds of laws. As he himself represented the laws and judgment, so he was immune to any kinds of laws and instead of hurting him, the law itself could replenish his aura, spiritual energy, and his physical body. That's why, those thunderstorms couldn't hurt him and he was regenerated so rapidly in that place.

"I didn't know that such kind of place actually exists. It means my summon at that time was actually blessings in disguise. I thought I will die with that spear. But now I think the moment that spear stabbed me, my and that spear, both's fate merged. That's why my attack successfully landed on me. Ha-ha-ha... Spear's situation actually worsened as expected. Although, I still don't know what happened with the spear here... Anyways, I can't reveal my full potential before my ultimate goal fulfills. I fought with just two percent of my full powers previously. Ha-ha-ha... Otherwise, that spear couldn't even dare to fight with me alone..." Thinking that in his mind, he burst into laughter.

At that moment, he joyfully started noticing the area again. A big smile flashed on his face. He murmured, "If I can absorb these much laws from the threads of thunders, I can strengthen my foundation more profoundly and maybe the impossible will be possible..."

Upon thinking that, without wasting any time, he seated on the cross legged position, and chanted,

"Evolution Technique, Law Binding Threads, Activate..."

The moment, he completed his chanting, countless black threads suddenly began to emerge from his body and rapidly spread out to capture those thunderclouds, piercing the boundless darkness. Within a few seconds, half of those black threads captured the clouds and in an instant, started extracting the clusters of laws from those clouds. Rest of the black threads started targeting the horribly destructive thunderbolts.

However, it was not easy. Although extracting laws from the thunderclouds were smooth, the moment the threads touched the lightning bolts, they immediately started to be destroyed instantly. But he didn't give up. Again countless black threads began to target those thunderbolts and again were destroyed. This process continued again and again. After countless trials, finally some of the low level thunderbolts were brought under control. From those thunderbolts and thunderclouds, countless golden colored runes as laws gradually began to be absorbed in his soul through his physical body.

In that process, his physical body had shattered multiple times. However, under that area's influence and the thundercloud's on where he had seated, his body was also regenerated for multiple times.

Thus, a week had passed away.

Although already he had absorbed sufficient amount of laws as his energy in two days, to stabilize his soul and aura, he had meditated since a week. During the meditation, he also had sensed that, the psychological cue he had inserted in Miss Sunflower's mind, had been broken. So he had already realized that, she was going through her saint advancement process.

After a long week, finally he opened his eyes. He could feel himself more fresh and powerful. He smiled. For a moment, he inspected the situation of his soul, and amazed to see that his soul became more solidified. Countless golden colored laws were spinning around his soul. In addition, his soul became faintly transparent as if his soul slowly started fusing with his physical body.

At that moment, that crack on the space again became visible next to him.

"There is no point in delaying any further. It is already too late. Perhaps, I won't be able to attend the secret meeting now... But anyways, I have to leave this place..." He became worried in his mind. But, after all, he decided to leave there.

Suddenly, right at that moment, the thundercloud began to tremble for a while. He somehow controlled himself from falling down. Then he was shocked to see that, amid the clouds, the spear suddenly came in front of him, with no any rash movements.

He understood that, the moment that crack appeared, the aura of the outside world touched it through that crack. That's why, it got spirited and tried to cross the crack. But it's energy was so low that, it easily became numb again.

Then observing the situation of the spear, one possibility clicked his mind. Perhaps, although he was immune from all laws, that spear wasn't. So, as a bug inside the law domain, those thunders punished it, by sucking completely it's spirituality and turning it into numb state.

He burst into laughter.

"I told you master, come with me... Shame on you, your situation worsened in this extent that, now you can not even flee from my grasp..." He spoke with a arrogant smile.

Without having any fear now, he smoothly grabbed that spear and entered into that crack.

However, as he entered into the crack, he felt as if he got lost into the boundless dark in the crack. He couldn't find the exact path to reach on the other side of that dimension, the mountain forest.

At that very moment, suddenly an unfamiliar, wheezing female voice coming amid the darkness made his heart a sudden, violent thud.

"Everyone is waiting for your return... How long you'll be hiding yourself in your disguise... Soon, a bleeding moon is about to cover the sky... The waters will turn black... The trees will turn red... The slaughter will reach deep into the dark, subsconscious corners of your very flesh... Thus, you'll also be exposed very soon... We are waiting for you..."

The moment that unfamiliar voice stopped talking, he was teleported to the other side of that crack, the mountain forest at a speed of light.

He suddenly materialized in the forest and caught his breath. For a few moments, his entire body shuddered with an unknown dread and a sense of alertness...
