McGonagall didn't care about his thoughts, she led him into the bar in front of her.
Leaky Couldron.
' yeah, that's a very witchy word I guess ', Kevin though to himself. As they entered the leaky couldron, Kevin has question marks all over his face. ' Are you kidding? Why are you all wearing hoods? Is this really a kidnap plan? Are they abducting children with special powers? ', Kevin instinctively reached to the scalpel.
There are even animals and suspicious looking people in the leaky couldron eating foods that he never heard in his life. He followed McGonagall with some suspicion. As they reached the backyard, they came face to face with a wall while McGonagall said," now, listen very carefully. To enter diagon alley, you need this ".
McGonagall pointed to the bricks. She then said while tapping bricks," from the trash bin, three up and two across. And you will have the way to diagon alley ", Kevin observed the pattern very clearly. And as McGonagall tapped the bricks, the bricks on the wall suddenly started moving and formed an archway like entrance.
Kevin's eyes widened when he saw the street on the other side. Slanted buildings, bustling street, strange flying objects, witches dm wizards riding broom sticks like in the movie. Displays with weird looking items, medival style clothing, creatures he never saw also came into the view.

' let me have my moment. Don't disturb me? ', Kevin said in his mind while admiring the diagon alley.
For a moment his eyes shined with the childish astonishment. Kevin loosened his grip on the scalpel and placed it in the inventory given by the system. It's so convenient, he can carry things in the inventory and just needs to think about the object he wants to retrieve and it'll appear in his hands.
Isn't that kinda cool? Also his system said it has a time lock, so nothing will be spoiled in the inventory as long as he placed it inside his inventory. Kevin followed McGonagall into the diagon alley looking at everything. Even a small thing here amazed him very much.
They moved towards a big white building that looked strange, it looks like a giant triangle with bent structure. Kevin saw the writings on the silver door and raised an eyebrow.
Enter, stranger, but take heed
Of what awaits the sin of greed
For those who take, but do not earn,
Must pay most dearly in their turn.
So if you seek beneath our floors
A treasure that was never yours,
Thief, you have been warned, beware
Of finding more than treasure there.
McGonagall said while he is reading that," Goblins, a greedy and cunning bunch. Never mess with a goblin, they will try everything to collapse your wealth and prosperity. Many say don't even think about making wafers, bets or gambling with them, it doesn't matter if you win or lose. Because in the end, you'll lose your money regardless. So I suggest you to be very careful these goblins. Also Gringotts is the safest bank and most trusted by everyone. The currency of wizarding world is mostly made in this bank world wide ".
Kevin asked," if they're such creatures, why hand the bank to them that hides all kinds of treasures and maintains an economical balance. If they're that greedy, won't they exploit the economy as they please to get things done their way ".
McGonagall shook her head and said," you won't understand even if I tell you. They're bound by oaths and magical contracts to stay faithful and honest to their customers. Although sometimes few minor incidents is bound up happen, overall, they run the economy pretty well ".
Kevin still felt many doubts. He doesn't trust these creatures who from words of McGonagall are greedy and cunning by their nature. Sure they have contracts and oaths but everything has a way to exploit, nothing is prefect according to him in this world. So there may have been loopholes which the goblins can exploit somehow. Only the wizards are ignorant of these ways.
Kevin has a rule that he must follow no matter what. You can trust someone but you can't trust them blindly and completely. Humans are complicated creatures afterall, you may seem important today, but if something or someone more interesting caught their eyes, then they will abandon you without hesitation.
That's why never trust anyone completely. Always hide your secrets to yourself. It's much safer like that. And now looking at Gringotts, he felt the wizarding world is trusting goblins blindly, placing everything related to economy in their hands. This will bound to end up in two situations in near future. Either the complete collapse of economic chain and betrayal of goblins which leads to humans to heed their commands or destruction of this race because of their control on economy which will bring endless troubles to wizards.
Never underestimate economy. It can make and break countries too. In the muggle world, wars are now fought like that, in the silence, in markets, to collapse the growth of countries, big countries will do anything. As for why, of course it's for dominance. They want to be a super power and will still remain as one while secretly suppressing the countries and stealing their resources in the name of aids and contracts.
Kevin felt these greedy creatures will sooner or later adopt this policy if they new it. So his trust in these goblins is 0. No one trusts a theif with their things, likewise no one will entrust their wealth to a greedy person to keep it safe. But the wizarding world did the complete opposite.
