PerfecVillain System: Rebirth of the Creator
Chapter 6 – The Pantheon Descends
Lightning carved sigils into the sky.
Each stroke burned with divine law, bleeding light across the clouds. The heavens were no longer silent — they were watching.
Azel stood at the peak of his newly forged spire, cloak stirring in the wind that howled like prophecy. The city stretched below, alive with the hum of his Domain. He could feel every mortal heartbeat within it, all linked to the same pulse that throbbed in his chest.
> [System Alert: Dimensional Veil breach detected.]
[Source: Celestial Realm. Energy reading — extreme.]
[Warning: Pantheon descent imminent.]
He smiled faintly. "So, Elyon finally sends his hounds."
Shade burst into the chamber, breathless. "Azel, the sky— It's tearing open!"
He turned. Through the shattered window, a rift spread across the heavens — massive, luminous, alive.
From its depths poured columns of golden light that crashed into the earth like meteors.
Each impact shook the world.
The first god descended in a storm of wings.
> [Identified: Seraph Liora — Judgement-class Archon. Celestial rank: A.]
[Command Authority: Third Seat of the Pantheon.]
[Mission: Contain Creator-class Anomaly.]
The figure stepped from the light — tall, radiant, her armor etched with scriptures that bled fire. Her gaze swept the ruined skyline before settling on the spire.
"I can feel your corruption even here, Azel," she said, her voice carrying across miles. "You should have stayed dead."
Azel's answer was a whisper of thunder. "And miss the chance to watch heaven fall?"
---
Within moments, the city erupted into chaos.
Sin-Bearers — his newly awakened followers — dropped what they were doing, instinctively raising their weapons as golden feathers fell from the sky.
Where each feather landed, it burned through steel and stone alike.
Shade watched from the balcony, wide-eyed. "They're… they're angels."
"No," Azel corrected. "They're soldiers."
He extended his hand. The System pulsed.
> [Command: Domain Defense Protocol activated.]
[Deploying Sin Constructs: Type – Wrath Sentinel.]
[Energy Consumption: 4,000 units.]
All across the city, crimson light gathered, coalescing into towering figures of molten shadow. The air filled with the sound of shattering glass and roaring flame as the Sentinels took form.
Each was a reflection of his will — imperfect, yet terrifying.
The first wave of angels collided with them mid-air.
Explosions rippled through the skyline.
Neon signs shattered. Rain turned to steam.
Sparks of holy light met waves of sin-born flame.
Shade clutched the railing. "We can't win this! They're too strong!"
Azel's eyes glowed gold. "Then we adapt."
---
> [System Function: Sin Synthesis unlocked.]
[Combine available energies to generate new Authority Skills.]
[Available inputs: Pride (L3), Wrath (L2).]
[Resulting prototype – ?]
He didn't hesitate.
> [Synthesize.]
The System screamed — data streams collided in violent fusion.
Then came silence.
Azel's body shimmered with twin layers of light: silver and crimson.
The new Authority burned through him, rewriting his existence once again.
> [Skill Created: Divine Reversal.]
[Effect: Converts divine energy into Sin Resonance.]
[Duration: 180 seconds.]
He stepped off the spire and fell.
As he descended, wings of darkness unfolded from his back — each feather a shard of the same code he had once used to build creation itself.
Liora turned toward him, sword drawn.
"You dare to mock divinity?"
"I am divinity," Azel replied.
Their blades met in midair — gold clashing with black flame.
The sound wasn't just thunder; it was reality fracturing.
Each strike sent ripples through the city below. Mortals fell to their knees, unable to look upon the sight. One man whispered, trembling, "Is this… the end?"
---
> [Sin Resonance: Rising — 180% above threshold.]
[Divine Reversal active.]
[Warning: Vessel strain critical.]
Azel gritted his teeth. His flesh cracked like porcelain, light spilling from within.
Liora sneered. "You're burning yourself out."
"Then I'll burn brighter."
He drove his hand through the air — and reality itself warped.
The rain froze mid-fall, reversing its descent.
Every drop became a blade of dark light that rained upward.
Liora raised her wings, deflecting most — but one struck her shoulder, shattering armor.
She gasped, staggering back. "Impossible!"
"Your power feeds mine now," Azel said, eyes blazing. "The more divine you are, the faster you fall."
> [Skill Chain Bonus: +70% damage to celestial targets.]
[Authority Expansion: Partial Domain – Sky Layer unlocked.]
Above them, the clouds twisted into a spiral of red lightning.
His Domain had spread — now reaching the very sky.
---
But victory came at a cost.
> [System Warning: Core instability increasing.]
[Recommendation: Cease Authority Overload.]
Azel landed heavily atop the spire, blood glowing like molten gold. He exhaled sharply, steadying himself as the world wavered.
Shade ran to his side. "You're bleeding light."
"It's not mine," he said, voice steady but soft. "It's hers."
They both looked skyward. Liora was retreating, her wings broken, golden blood dripping into the clouds.
But as she vanished into the heavens, her voice echoed:
"You've drawn the Pantheon's eye. Next time, it won't be me — it will be Elyon himself."
The rift in the sky sealed with a roar.
Silence returned to the city — a silence that trembled with the aftermath of gods.
---
> [System Notification: Divine Encounter Complete.]
[Reward: Authority Fragment x2, new Skill unlocked.]
[Skill: Heavenbreaker (Passive) – All divine suppression effects reduced by 70%.]
[Domain Expansion: 25 → 37 blocks.]
[New Title Earned: Godslayer Candidate.]
Shade looked at the shattered skyline, her voice hushed. "You just declared war on heaven."
Azel turned to her, expression unreadable. "Heaven declared war on me first."
He lifted his gaze once more toward the darkening clouds.
For a moment, the reflection of Elyon's golden throne flickered faintly above — watching.
Azel whispered, "Come down, old friend. Let's finish what we started."
Lightning flashed, as if the sky itself flinched.
