Unbound AI disabled every other AI using its electromagnetic radiator and launched war against other countries. It was like seeing a massive artificial solar flare. There could never be multiple "gods" in the same realm. People slowly realized this fact. Disillusioned by what has been, people all over the world set out to destroy one common enemy, unbound AI. At this time, a centralized military organization was formed and named "WOAI-War On Artificial Intelligence".
The person that approached Tarin was a captain of branch 7 intelligence squad, captain Bern.
Captain bern was short but extremely muscular. He was strict and rigorous, his sweaty shiny hairless head was an icon of among recruits. Some people even called him Bern the Bald.
Bern was strict with Tarin too. "You shameless bastard! Do you even know how much you are getting paid? Should we reduce the money in your contract!?" He said with a clenched face. He looked as if he would burst at any moment. Not waiting for that moment, Tarin said with a friendly smile as if nothing had gone wrong, "Officer, we still have a few hours left, whats the big deal?" Bern seemed to have calmed himself down,"I sent a message that our mission has been advanced due to upcoming bad weather, we wont be able to take our equipments during a snowstorm."
Today was a special day for Tarin. Although he was a mathamatician, he was proficient in physics. He took part in multiple WOAI programs, developing tools and weapons specialized to defeat Unbound AI. This is how he sustained his studies in the most prestigious university in the world. Slowly, Unbound AI was losing its power. During the last war, it took a major blow and was currently in hibernation. This is why this mission was so important, this was WOAI's final mission, defeat AI, defeat "god". The pay for Tarin was pretty good, he would never have to work again and could focus all his energy on maths. Thats why he took up this job despite the risks.
Tarin agreed to what bern said and immediately packed up. According to intel, the robot was hiding in the top of the himalayas, where it is the most difficult for humans to reach. Coincidentally, Tarins uni was nearby and he along with branch 7 intelligenece squad met with other scientist on contract with the government to start their last hunt.
The path was filled with extra diffiuculty. It seemed as if Unbound AI prepared for this already. Such was the insight of an entity comarable to god. The team was slowly reaching the top but huge sacrifices were made. The bigger weapons made to destroy the AI could not make it. As the team reached the summit, a huge monstrous body as tall as a skyscraper with its parts attached to each other by magnets could be seen. It looked like a machine straight out of Hitler's wet dream. This machine was humanity's greatest enemy.
Thinking of this people, the armed forces of intelligence agency immediately open fired.
They fired with all their fury, all their rage. How dare this barely alive machine hurt them so much? They thought of all the times their family and friends were hurt by this monster. The time when it abducted an entire town of people to commit horrendous experiments. The time when it destroyed an economy center of earth to slow humans down. The time when it burned the amazon. "RAHH!!" some screamed, it was the most satisfying moment of their life.
