"Deal. How long will it take you?" Zhang asked.
"If you're close, just a moment," Marisa laughed.
"Acidic Glavenus, come here," Zhang beckoned, and the monster came over.
"A Glavenus I've never seen before. From its appearance, its living habits are definitely different from an ordinary Glavenus," Marisa said, circling the monster, occasionally patting it or tapping it with her hand. If Zhang hadn't been there, the Glavenus would have kicked her away.
After about half an hour, Marisa was finished. "Thank you, Your Excellency, Rider," she said, putting away her notes.
"You're welcome. See you later," Zhang said, recalling the Glavenus and flying off on his Astalos towards Hakum Village.
"That electric dragon and that Glavenus... such powerful monsters, and he can tame them," the hunter with the greatsword sighed.
"Yes, it's really powerful. They're monsters known as two of the Fated Four," the hunter with the light crossbow added. Monsters they did not dare to face were tamed by another, and it had a great impact on them.
"Okay, let's go back," Marisa said, leading the two towards the village. She had discovered incredible news from the Glavenus, and she needed to inform the researchers at the next level.
Zhang arrived at Hakum Village. The speed of the Astalos was fast, and it didn't take long.
"We meet again, Your Excellency, Rider," the quest maiden said with a smile.
"I have to bother you again. Help me find a quest to hunt a Gammoth," Zhang said.
"Okay, please wait, Your Excellency, Rider," she replied, beginning to look for the task.
Meanwhile, the hunters in the room were whispering.
"Is that the legendary Rider? He doesn't look like someone who deals with monsters. More like a nobleman."
"I heard he can tame a Glavenus. Is it true?"
"It's true. I saw him release the Glavenus with my own eyes that day."
"He's really powerful. If only my child were that powerful," a hunter in his forties sighed. His child was almost the same age as Zhang, but was so weak he would probably never become a hunter.
The hunters were in awe of Zhang. In the world of monsters, the powerful were respected, because they protected the weak.
"Found it. This is the hunting mission for the Gammoth," the quest maiden said, handing him the task list.
"Thank you," Zhang said, taking it. "Okay, I'm leaving." He waved goodbye and walked out with Kuro.
He has become stronger again, the quest maiden thought, watching him leave. The last time he had come, the sense of danger from him and Kuro had been on the level of a Rathalos. Now, it was on the level of a Glavenus. She had never seen someone grow so fast.
Zhang came to the Snowy Mountains again, this time on his Azure Rathalos. It was faster than the Astalos, the true king of the sky.
[Fair Duel Mission Triggered!]
[Mission Objective: Gammoth]
[Reward: One Glory Point]
On the mountainside, a Gammoth was eating plants.
"Tigrex, it's up to you," Zhang said, throwing the Poké Ball.
BANG!
The Tigrex appeared before the Gammoth.
"Roar!" it let out a deafening roar. The Gammoth, caught by surprise, was knocked away like a boat on the waves, crashing into a stone wall. Before it could recover, the Tigrex was already upon it, charging with all four feet and kicking up a cloud of snow. BANG! It slammed into the Gammoth's head, and blood gushed from the giant beast's mouth and nose.
"Roar!" The Tigrex stepped on the Gammoth's head and let out another deafening roar, stunning it.
[Your Tigrex has fairly defeated the Gammoth!]
[You get 1 Glory Point!]
[Your current Glory Point balance: 6 points!]
Compared to Pokémon, normal monsters are much weaker, Zhang thought. Otherwise, even with a successful sneak attack, the Tigrex would not have defeated the Gammoth so easily. His Pokémonized monsters had the strength of monsters and the potential of Pokémon. It was a powerful combination.
He jumped down from the sky and threw a Poké Ball. After more than a dozen shakes, the Gammoth was subdued.
[Successfully subdued the Gammoth!]
[Gammoth Pokémonization beginning...]
[Pokémonization Successful!]
[Gammoth information is as follows:]
Level: 69 (Elite Four)Ability: Big Mac: (Attack +200%. When making contact with an enemy, Attack +50%. When attack power is higher than the enemy's, Attack +50%. All special skills become physical attack skills.)Base Stats:HP: 130Attack: 200Defense: 100Special Attack: 30Special Defense: 100Speed: 60Total: 620
"The power is very large, but the speed is too slow. But after it's been Pokémonized, I shouldn't have to worry about that. I can just use a wide-range attack skill, like Blizzard. It's no worse than the Tigrex," Zhang thought, satisfied.
He released his Terra Shogun Ceanataur and Escuregot, and took the Ceanataur's broken arm from his backpack. The Escuregot, a qualified tool-person, immediately began to heal both of his new monsters.
After they were cured, Zhang recalled his monsters. "Gardevoir, if you please. Use Teleport to return to Yan Huo Village," he said, releasing his psychic Pokémon. He didn't use Teleport to get around because he wanted to save her strength in case they needed to escape from an Elder Dragon.
"Gardy," she nodded, and with a flash of pink light, they were back in his room.
"Zhang Tian, are you there?" a voice called from outside. It was Hinoa.
"I'm here," he said, opening the door. "What's wrong? Can't wait for our date tonight?" he quipped.
Hinoa's face turned slightly red. "I made the clothes for you. Do you want to try them?" She took out a set of purple clothes, the color of a Magnamalo's ghost fire, with beautiful patterns.
"Of course. So you came to deliver clothes. They're so beautiful. I like them," he said, taking them. After he praised them, a smile immediately rose on Hinoa's face.
"Wait for me to take a shower. I just finished training, and my body is very smelly," he said, going back into his room. A while later, he came out. Hinoa looked at the handsome Zhang Tian with satisfaction.
"Am I handsome in your clothes? Hehe, my craft is good," she said proudly.
"It's great. I like it very much."
"If you like it, then I'll go back. I still have work to do. See you in the evening," she said, waving happily as she ran off.
The next day, at six in the morning, Zhang arrived at the door of the Water Gym. It was the day of his trade with Bella and her sister. He had been looking forward to the Ability Fruit for a long time.
"Zhang Tian, you are finally here," Bella said with a smile.
"The young man is in good health, getting up so early," her silver-haired sister, Bianca, said, ruffling her hair.
"You two really can joke," Zhang smiled, then turned to Cynthia and Bea. "Have you eaten? If not, let's go for breakfast."
"No," Cynthia shook her head.
"I definitely didn't eat. If I hadn't waited for you, I would have gone to eat long ago," Bea said, glaring at him.
"Then let's go eat now. The beef powder outside is very delicious," Zhang said, then turned to the two sisters. "I don't know if you two have eaten. If not, let's go together."
"Yes, we can," Bianca nodded, pulling Bella along. "Let's go. My treat."
After they ate, they began to talk business.
"Now I'll use teleportation to take you to that secret realm. Does anyone get motion sickness?" Bianca asked.
"No dizziness," Cynthia shook her head.
"No," Bea waved her hand.
"I don't faint either," Zhang smiled.
"Then let's go," Bianca said, and a terrifying psychic power rose from her, far stronger than Zhang's Gardevoir. This unreliable-looking woman was a champion-level psychic.
BRUSH! With a flash of light, they appeared in a beautiful, verdant valley.
"No! This is the secret realm," Bianca said, pointing to a large, dark hole in the lawn.
"It's really strange that there is no one to guard it," Zhang said, looking around.
"It's different here. This is the Dragon Mountain Range. There are often champion-level Pokémon here. It's dangerous. More importantly, if more than 10 humans gather, Dragon-type Pokémon like Dragonite and Garchomp will unite to expel them. So the secret realms here are unguarded, and the Dragon Mountain Range has become a favorite place for civilian trainers from various countries," Bianca explained.
"So this is the Dragon Mountain Range. I really didn't expect it." Zhang knew of the place. Before he had the system, he had planned to come here with his eagle to make his future.
"Let's go, let's see," Zhang beckoned, releasing his Azure Rathalos and flying into the secret realm with Cynthia and Bea.
"Another Pokémon that has not been seen, and it looks powerful," Bella sighed. "The origin of this Zhang Tian is really mysterious. Obviously just a civilian trainer, but he has so many powerful Pokémon."
"By chance, he may have discovered a relatively large secret realm, where such huge Pokémon live," Bianca said, lying down on the ground, unconcerned. At her level, no Pokémon, no matter how powerful, could move her. The key to her breakthrough to the third-tier god level lay with her main Pokémon. It was better to cultivate her own Pokémon than to spend energy on a new one. Not everyone was Zhang Tian, a cheat code who could cultivate a whole army.
