That deserter... no.

He is not a deserter.

The thought flashed through Robb Stark's mind.

A deserter would not have such eyes!

He is a true warrior!

Lynn's chest heaved with rapid breaths.

But his sword-wielding hand remained steady!

"Kill that Kid first!"

A burly, bearded bandit leader let out a beast-like roar, breaking the brief silence.

"What the hell are you all afraid of!"

"Go on, hack him down first!"

Fear was replaced by a more primal ferocity.

The remaining bandits stirred again.

Waving their weapons, they surrounded Lynn from all sides.

They could tell.

This man in black seemed more threatening.

He was a tough nut to crack.

But he was also nearing his limit.

As long as they besieged him, no matter how strong a person was, he would not last long!

Robb saw through the bandits' intentions and roared, trying to lead his men closer to Lynn.

"Stop them!"

Seeing Robb give orders, another wave of bandits immediately understood who the leader of this group was.

They changed direction, attacking Robb and his men from the side as if their lives depended on it, forcing Robb to engage.

Lynn's eyes narrowed.

He hadn't expected to be noticed at the edge of the battlefield.

Then again.

Killing three people cleanly and efficiently, it would be hard not to be noticed.

He did not retreat; instead, he took half a step forward, leaning his back against a thick pine tree.

This way, he only needed to face enemies from the front and sides.

Robb and his men attracted the attention of most of the bandits, greatly reducing Lynn's pressure.

One bandit charged forward first, his long-handled axe whistling as it cleaved down from above.

Lynn did not meet it head-on.

He slid his feet, his body pressed against the tree trunk, narrowly dodging the axe blade.

Wood chips flew.

The axe was deeply embedded in the tree trunk.

This was his chance!

Lynn's wrist twisted, and his longsword came up from below.

"Puff!"

The sword tip cleanly sliced open the bandit's unprotected throat.

Blood gushed out, leaving a shocking red stain on the gray-white tree trunk.

[Killed Bandit x1, Experience +1]

Before the corpse could fall, another bandit's scimitar had already swept across, aiming straight for Lynn's waist and abdomen.

Lynn twisted his waist and swung his sword to parry.

"Clang!"

Metal clashed, and sparks flew.

A tremendous force traveled up the sword, numbing Lynn's tiger's mouth and making his arm ache.

The strength of this body was still too weak.

Just as he parried, a third bandit lunged from the side.

He had no decent weapon in his hand, just a sharpened wooden stick, but he viciously thrust it towards Lynn's ribs.

There was no retreat.

Lynn's pupils suddenly contracted.

At the critical moment.

"Whoosh!"

A sharp arrow tore through the air, accurately embedding itself in the eye socket of the bandit wielding the stick.

The scream abruptly stopped.

The bandit's body stiffened for a moment, then softly collapsed.

Lynn glanced at Theon Greyjoy in the distance.

The Iron Islands ward slowly lowered his longbow, his face bearing his usual flippancy.

But in his eyes, there was an indescribable meaning.

He gave Lynn a very subtle nod.

Lynn turned his head.

The bandit whose scimitar Lynn had parried, smirked and raised his blade again.

"Die!"

The blade flashed.

Lynn only had time to turn sideways.

A tearing pain came from his left shoulder.

His clothes were cut open, flesh peeled back, and blood instantly stained half of his body red.

Lynn grunted, his body stumbling.

The intense pain stimulated his nerves but did not make him lose his mind.

Instead, it ignited the ferocity in his bones.

He did not retreat; instead, using the momentum of his stumble, he suddenly charged forward.

He slammed his shoulder hard into the bandit's chest.

The bandit had not expected him to be so daring after being injured.

Caught off guard, he was knocked back several steps.

Lynn's sword moved.

A simple, direct upward slash.

"Screech!"

Without the protection of iron armor, the blade sliced across the bandit's lower abdomen, moving upwards until it split open his chest.

Organs mixed with blood, gushing out onto the ground.

The bandit's sneer froze on his face; he looked down at his empty abdominal cavity, his eyes filled with unbelievable despair.

[Killed Bandit x1, Experience +1]

"Roar!"

Robb Stark's roar came.

The young Wolf Lord's eyes were now bloodshot.

Lynn's fearless bravery had completely ignited the blood of the direwolf within him.

He no longer adhered to the sword techniques taught by his instructors.

Though still very young, every one of his swings was full of power.

Broad and sweeping, with the wildness characteristic of the North.

One bandit had his arm severed by Robb's sword, screaming as he fell to the ground.

Another bandit was knocked over, man and shield, by a single sword stroke.

The tide of the battle began to shift rapidly due to the outburst of Lynn and Robb.

The bandit leader watched, his eyes splitting with rage.

He abandoned his entanglement with the Stark Guards.

He roared, wielding a blood-stained two-handed great axe, and charged straight at Lynn.

"Bastard! I'll chop you into pieces and feed you to the dogs!"

Before he even arrived, a strong smell of blood and sweat assaulted Lynn.

Lynn suppressed the intense pain in his shoulder and inside his body, taking a deep breath.

He knew this was the last one, and the strongest one.

The axe blade whipped up a fierce wind and crashed down.

Lynn did not dodge.

He was now exhausted, and no matter how he dodged, he couldn't escape the attack range of a long-handled weapon.

He bent his knees slightly, lowered his center of gravity, and held his longsword horizontally in front of him.

"Clang!"

A huge sound.

Lynn used the thickest part of his sword to forcefully parry the fatal axe blow.

The enormous impact made his arms tremble violently.

The wound on his shoulder tore open again, the pain making his vision darken.

A hint of surprise flashed in the bandit leader's eyes, quickly turning to cruelty.

He pressed down on the axe with his wrist, wanting to completely crush this stubborn opponent.

But Lynn's goal was achieved.

With this block, he gained an opportunity to get close to the opponent's body.

Lynn suddenly released his left hand from the sword, and his body turned to the right with the momentum.

His right elbow, like a cannonball, slammed into the bandit leader's ribs.

"Crack!"

The crisp sound of bones breaking.

The bandit leader let out a painful grunt, his huge body stiffening for a moment due to the intense pain.

At the same time, Robb thrust his longsword forward.

"Thud!"

The longsword plunged in up to the hilt, precisely piercing the bandit leader's chest.

Lynn, afraid that Robb would steal his kill, quickly picked up the longsword from the ground and plunged it into the bandit's eye socket.

[Killed Bandit Leader x1, Experience +2]

The fierce light in the bandit leader's eyes rapidly dimmed.

Lynn yanked out his longsword.

The tall bandit's life force immediately vanished.

"It gave two experience points?"

"It seems the stronger the opponent, the more experience given, but it seems he wasn't particularly strong, otherwise he wouldn't have only given two points."

So, if he killed a strong person like Jaime, or a wight, an Other, or even the Night King, how much experience would he gain?

"Of course, I could also choose to slaughter a large number of commoners to gain experience."

"However, if I actually did that, without a background or someone to cover for me, I'm afraid there would be no place for me in all of Westeros."

With the death of the leader, the remaining few bandits completely collapsed.

They threw down their weapons, crying and scattering in all directions.

What awaited them were the cold blades of the Stark Guards and Theon's deadly arrows.

The battle was over.

Silence returned to the forest.

Only the crackling of the bonfire and the groans of the wounded Guards remained.

Lynn leaned against the battle-scarred pine tree, slowly sliding to the ground.

The longsword in his hand clattered onto the snow.

He was trembling all over.

Not from fear, but from exhaustion.

The wound on his shoulder was still bleeding, and his bruised ribs sent waves of piercing pain.

Every breath pulled at his injuries, making him almost faint.

His vision began to blur.

A pair of mud- and snow-stained boots stopped in front of him.

Lynn laboriously lifted his head.

It was Robb Stark.

The young Wolf Lord's face still carried an undiminished killing intent, but his blue eyes were filled with complex emotions.

Shock, doubt, and a hint of... admiration.

"You..."

Robb opened his mouth but didn't know what to say.

He looked at the corpses around Lynn, then at Lynn's terrible wounds.

Any words seemed pale and powerless at this moment.

"Horen!"

Robb turned and roared at a Guards.

"Come here! Dress his wounds!"

Theon Greyjoy also walked over.

He put away his longbow and squatted down.

Looking at the deep, bone-visible wound on Lynn's shoulder, his previous mockery was gone.

With his wounds and blood, he had earned the approval of Robb and Theon.

In his vision, the blue panel that only he could see floated quietly.
