Soon after the boy left, a teacher stepped inside. Dressed in a red skirt and a red blazer Her spectacle was on the bridge of her nose as she scrutinized all the students sitting in the classroom.
" Good morning, students. Welcome to the Amalienborg University of Elites. Let me first introduce myself. I'm your Etiquette teacher, Miss Yvonne Janvier." the teacher introduced herself in her shrill voice.
" You stand up." she said to one of the girls sitting on the first bench of the class.
" Yes, Miss." she said and stood up.
" Tell me. What's the color of my lipstick?" she asked her.
" Red." she answered confidently. Is this a primary school? Why is the teacher asking to tell the color of the lipstick?
" Wrong." Miss said, making the children think that she is teasing her.
" First column, second last girl. Yellow top one. Stand up. You tell me, what's the color of my lipstick." she asked and Bella stood up from her seat.
" Red." she replied, saying the answer that was in everyone's mind. The teacher shook her head.
" I'm so sorry seeing your condition. Seems like none of you can answer it. Is there anyone who knows the correct answer?" she asked the whole class. Everyone started to stare at each other. Who knew that the color they have known since birth, that is red, isn't what the teacher sees!
" How disappointing!" the teacher said, looking at the class pitifully.
" Let me tell you the correct answer. It's Rosso Corsa." she said. The whole class was staring at her blankly. It was the first time they had came across a color named "Rosso Corsa"!
" It appears that you guys aren't clear with the basics yet. As homework, you will have to write twenty different shades of red and learn to differentiate between them." she said.
" Sit down both of you." Miss Janvier said and made the two girls sit back to whom she had asked to stand up earlier.
Bella sat on her seat and looked at Lia who was trying to suppress her laughter. Who would have thought that in the school of Elites, they are going to study such subjects too!
" I feel like I'm colorblind now." Bella commented, making Lia struggle not to laugh even more, and wonder why everyone weren't finding it funny as they all sat with a clueless face.
" It's just twenty shades of red. Maybe we will get to learn fifty shades of gray." Lia whispered to Bella, making the mood even funnier.
" Maybe that day comes soon." Bella said, and both of them put their heads down so that the teacher wouldn't see them laughing.
For the rest of the Etiquette class, the teacher taught them ways of greetings, starting a conversation, saying farewell, and so on. Lia and Bella continued to comment in whispers to each other in between the class. This was the funniest class that they had ever attended. When the bell rang, they collected their books and headed outside the class after the teacher left.
" Oh, Ms. Reed. Would you like to roam the University's campus since there aren't any classes for the next thirty minutes?" Bella asked Lia, mimicking the voice of Miss Yvonne Janvier.
" Oh, sure. It would be my absolute pleasure." Lia said, taking part in her mimicking of their teacher. They started to laugh at their fake etiquette act.
" Let's go to the fountain park first. I saw it on the campus's map earlier. It's in that direction I guess." Lia said and they both started to walk towards the fountain park.
" There are so many beautiful flowers here." Bella said, looking at the beautiful flowers that were spread all over the place till the eyes could see.
" It's so beautiful. I wish Grandma could see this too." Lia said and Bella nodded her head.
" Can't we call Grandma right now? She would probably be at the field." Bella said, checking her watch.
" Is it okay to call her while we are here in campus?" Lia asked her.
" Who cares? If someone asks, we can tell them we are new and don't know the rules. Anyway, see. Those bunch of people there are using their phones." Bella said, pointing at the students sitting on the grass under a tree.
" Hm, ok. I'll call her." Lia said and took out her phone. She clicked on her grandma's phone number from the contact list and it started to ring. After a few seconds, her grandma picked up the call.
" Hello, Lia?" her grandma said on the call.
" Grandma. How are you? We reached here safely." Lia said.
" I'm fine. Isn't it your class time? Don't tell me you are bunking your classes on the first day of your college!" her grandma said, already imagining the things.
" No, grandma. Don't worry. We aren't bunking classes. It's our break time, so, we thought to call you." Lia explained to her grandmother.
" Oh. It's good to hear that you are settling well there. I have transferred some money to both of your accounts. Buy all the necessary items as soon as possible." her grandma informed her.
" Ok, We will buy it. By the way, talk to Bella. She also wants to talk to you." Lia said and handed the phone to Bella who was continuously nudging her to let her talk with grandma too.
" Hello, grandma. How are you? We are in the University's park right now. I'm sending you the pictures of the flowers. There are hundreds of them, all different and colorful." Bella said excitedly.
" Ok. Send them to me. I'm happy to hear that you are enjoying yourselves there." grandma said.
" Just wait a second. I'll end the call and send them to you." Bella said and hung up the call. She quickly opened the camera and clicked the pictures of the whole surrounding. She selected all the pictures that she clicked and sent them to her grandmother.
" Why isn't she seeing the pictures?" Bella asked Lia when it didn't show her that grandma has seen the message that she sent.
" Maybe she is busy. Let's head to the fountain park. She will message once she sees it." Lia said to her sister and both of them again started to walk towards the fountain park.
When they reached there, their eyes glittered in awe. A huge statue of a ten-feet tall lady, composing the divine aura, stood upright in the middle of the fountain. The golden figure was holding a child in her arms, looking at her lovingly. A pack of wolves was bowing their head to the lady, making her look like a Goddess stepped down to earth from heaven.
" I have never seen such an incredible artwork before." Bella commented.
" Hm. Never in my life I'll see something like this again." Lia said, totally agreeing with Bella.
They were admiring the beauty in front of their eyes when they noticed that a crowd of students was gathered around in the opposite direction to where they were.
" What's happening over there?" Lia asked Bella.
" Don't know. Let's go and see. Maybe something interesting is going on there since every student is walking towards it." Bella said. They both walked to where everyone was gathered. Squeezing between them, they finally came to stand in front of the crowd to see clearly what was happening.
Two boys were standing in front of each other, staring at each other coldly. The atmosphere was so quiet and everyone's gaze was fixed on those two. The twelve feet distance between both of the boys was looking like they are preparing for a fight.
" I thought something interesting was going on here, but, I think I was wrong. Let's go somewhere else." Lia said, looking at the boys who were just standing still and looking at each other. Anyways, she didn't like one of the boys among those. The boy whom she bumped into when she entered her class. It wasn't like she was blaming him, but, she didn't like his aura.
" Let's go. It was a waste to come here, leaving that wonderful statue behind." Bella said, agreeing with her sister.
They turned around and were going to head back to where they were, but suddenly, all the students standing there started to move. All of them came to stand behind either of the two boys. Lia and Bella were confused and couldn't process what just happened there. They looked at both of the sides that were looking like two armies are going to attack each other. They stood at their spot, looking at them.
" Aren't you going to decide?" came a voice from behind and they turned to look. A girl was standing there, carrying a carton with her.
" What's the decision about?" Lia asked her. How would they know what's happening here when they just arrived thinking that something fun is going to happen!
" Don't you know? You have to choose either Team Adolphus or Team Sarff." she said and went past both of them. Are they kidding? Why would anyone do such stupid things in college?
" I have brought all the badges here. I have completed the task so I wouldn't choose any team." the girl said to the boys who were the leader of Team Adolphus and Team Sarff. She put down the carton box and went away.
