Chapter 635 - Chapter 634: Changing Equipment

Without a word, Thea stripped Diana of her previous equipment. The tall goddess instantly transformed into her birthday suit—another thing Thea had always internally criticized: she went completely commando under the armor!

The original newbie village divine equipment was forged by Hephaestus and had always fit Diana's curves perfectly. This wasn't because he'd personally measured her—otherwise, even across the vast reaches of space, Thea would find a way to kill him!

When he forged it, Diana was still a baby. To allow for future growth, divine artifact armor possessed one special property—automatic size adjustment. It grew when you grew, shrank when you shrank.

At least from Thea's observations, Diana's current measurements were slightly larger than when she first left the island, and the armor's automatic enlargement feature relied on powerful memory and tactile feedback to make predictions.

After wearing the armor for so long, Diana had grown to dislike cumbersome undergarments. She found them completely meaningless. Ancient Greek values held that beautiful things needed no concealment. Whether during thousands of years of tribal life or after entering modern society, this remained true. Even when attending social functions now, her outfits featured deep V-necks front and back—dazzling and provocatively sexy.

Often she simply forgot to wear undergarments, throwing on a long dress before heading to events. The young miss also occasionally went commando, but purely out of laziness!

Now she needed to cultivate Diana's habit of wearing undergarments. In past small-scale battles against criminals who basically couldn't break her defense, it didn't matter. But future battles would grow increasingly large-scale. Comic book worlds had mysterious forces preventing wardrobe malfunctions, but the real world had no such protection.

What if during a future battle with Darkseid, the armor shattered? All her glory would be on display for others.

"Do I really have to wear this?" Diana frowned slightly.

"Absolutely!" Thea said cheerfully, holding a bra woven from spider silk mixed with divine thread by Aramani.

Diana looked at her with a half-smile. "Oh? What benefits?"

Preventing peeping by unrelated people? Did that count as a benefit? The young miss racked her brain but couldn't think of any real advantages. As for preventing sagging, promoting development, ensuring blood circulation—all nonsense for them.

Seeing her usually eloquent lover at a loss for words, Diana laughed heartily. Her bare chest even bounced twice, making the young miss's heart race.

"Laurel and Barbara don't seem to wear them either. They just put Kevlar combat suits directly over... so I think your..." Diana made her case, finally pointing at the undergarment in Thea's hand and shaking her head—her meaning crystal clear.

Thea felt equally helpless about this. Female superheroes and villains here basically went commando under skintight suits. Like Sister Blue—a little vest on top, two fabric panels front and back below—plenty of others dressed similarly.

Gotham's heroines were relatively better. Star City's Laurel, to completely separate from her daytime identity, wore leather with fishnet stockings and tall boots—completely different from her daytime lawyer image.

Thinking about it, female superhero issues remained numerous and needed gradual correction. However, Thea decided to start with those around her!

She forcefully explained: "They all operate at night, different from you. Starting today, I'll supervise you. You must wear them!"

"Really have to wear them?"

"Absolutely!"

Diana took the undergarment, looked at it, and had to admit Aramani's craftsmanship was excellent—at least master-level tailoring. Also from Greece, her aesthetic completely matched Diana's standards.

Thinking it over, the goddess counterattacked: "Then you have to wear them too!"

Thea argued with her for a long time but couldn't out-argue the warrior maiden. She could only surrender helplessly. "Fine, I'll wear them too."

Throwing off the blanket, Diana saw she also wore nothing underneath and laughed silently, tilting her nose up proudly.

Thea picked through several but discovered a problem—these were all prepared for Diana. She hadn't prepared any for herself. She had magic and Lantern ring constructs—wardrobe malfunctions were impossible!

Reluctantly selecting one, she tried putting it on halfway before realizing it wouldn't work. A mischievous thought arose, and she gave Diana a teasing, playful look. "Oh my... seems a bit tight!"

Diana was furious. "Thea Queen, you! Say that again!"

Absolutely outrageous! Even the good-tempered warrior maiden couldn't tolerate this. How could undergarments prepared for me not even fit you halfway? Too infuriating! And what was that comment? A bit tight?! Your skin is what's tight!

"Where's it tight? Looks loose to me! Here, and here—all gaps!" Diana huffily adjusted things, but in the end had to admit it was indeed... somewhat tight.

Their chest shapes differed. Thea was naturally slender, and having become a goddess, her proportions had reached perfection. From shape, it was a beautiful teardrop—fuller on the bottom half than the top, looking tremulously enticing.

Diana was traditional Greek Venus-shaped—viewed from the side like a semicircle. Divided from the indescribable point, her top half exceeded Thea's while her bottom half was smaller than Thea's.

This meant the young miss could get it on initially, but by the end it was rather tight. After much effort, she finally got it fastened.

Watching this scene, the warrior maiden felt extremely displeased. I need to ascend to godhood too! Diana roared internally. She'd never felt such urgency about achieving a perfect divine body!

Since the young miss had set an example, Diana could only wordlessly put hers on. Honestly, it felt very uncomfortable.

The two women agreed to mutual supervision. This little interlude finally concluded.

After playing around for ages, they finally remembered the armor. Thea pulled on a T-shirt and sat to the side watching Diana try things on.

This new armor, reforged from Kronos's giant armor, had a design considering several factors—somewhat resembling saint cloth from certain anime. It didn't reach Faora's level of coverage but looked far more dignified than Diana's previous chest-exposing, back-baring design.

Deep red base with gold lines tracing the contours. In motion or at rest, occasionally revealing some skin, it highlighted Diana's majesty with a hint of wild ferocity.

Diana was a pure warrior. Her bloodline gave her equally high magic resistance, but magic's unpredictability meant even divine-level magic resistance needed protection.

Thea installed a gemstone at each of the new armor's shoulders and knees.

Ordinary gems couldn't store high-level magic, but these were from Hades' Underworld collection. She stored two time stops, one ultra-long-range teleport, and one powerful healing spell in the gems.

"Why embed the gems in the equipment?" The warrior maiden was puzzled. Wouldn't holding them be better? Spatial rings weren't sophisticated equipment—Thea had made her one after ascending to godhood.

Thea's answer: Equipment without socketed gems—is that even equipment?!

The original guardian silver bracelets remained formidable in quality even now. As divine artifacts accompanying Diana for thousands of years, she chose to continue wearing them. Normally unused divine power accumulated, then exploded all at once—such powerful effects made even Thea envious.

The original shield was made from some nameless metal Zeus found in some corner. It couldn't keep up with the times now. Having obtained Hades' ten-thousand-year collection with abundant rare metals, the shield didn't need New Genesis—Diana could reforge it herself.
