They had formed one larger pair of jaws of energy, a swirl of black and white, and they're definitely moving faster!
Suddenly, Rex stopped running and shot straight towards me, ducking as I snapped the combined jaws at his head, before phasing right through me and striking the middle of my back with a sharp jab from one of his blades.
I growled before spinning around and sending the jaws shooting out towards him again, snapping at his chest and tearing off a few shreds of the fabric over that spot.
I raced after him as he sprinted away, the jaws of energy chasing after him rapidly, but he was faster, they couldn't catch up.
Damn it, they're not fast enough! I need to combine them further, mix them with each other more intricately and thoroughly!

I stared at it in bewilderment, right as the sphere exerted a powerful gravitional force, Rex's eyes widened as he began to get pulled in towards it despite being several meters away, before coming to a halt as he presumably turned his entire body intangible.

I quickly tilted my head across as he unfurled a rapid thrust of his left blade towards my face, the wooden blade grazing my cheek before I swung my blade at him, growling as it phased right through his chest.
"Damn it, you-...!" I began, before stiffening as my vision blurred, a wave of throbbing pain erupting across my entire body as the purple energy swirling around me began to fade away...

Looks like my ten minutes are up.
I gingerly sat down on the floor with a slight wince, my body in a fair bit of pain. The backlash from using Enrage is no fun, this really hurts.
I then glanced at the balcony as a whir echoed out, the stairs extended back down before Charlotte made her way down and approached me as she reached the bottom, Rex starting to walk over as well.
"Sorry about that...hope I didn't hurt you too bad," I apologized as I glanced at the wounds on his right side.
"It's fine, it isn't that deep. Been a while since I've gotten hurt, forgot how much it sucks," He sighed in response.
"Yeah, you're really strong. And you were using your Magic without chanting, not a lot of people can do that, right?"
"I guess. My Magic was really hard to use at first, it was a serious pain...I decided to make things easier for my future self and worked hard at it, until I could use it freely and without chanting. Until today, I've never been injured since then," He explained, before adding as he sat down, "That was tiring, you were seriously trying to kill me."
