Chapter 150: Thanks for the Gifts, Instructor Kaido
After several days of recuperation, Zoro and Luffy finally made a full recovery.
However, for Zoro, this period was more torturous than the deathmatch itself.
Under Roy's strict orders, he was forcibly banned from touching his swords. Every day, he could only sit in his room, staring at his blades and sighing.
His three swords hung quietly on the wall, while he, like a beast robbed of its limbs, occasionally made cutting motions at the air, his eyes practically burning with impatience.
"I'm gonna get rusty! Aaaargh!!!"
Luffy, on the other hand, was a completely different story. He bounced around carefree all day, pestering Roy for meat, occasionally sneaking off to the training grounds. He even tried to challenge the training dummies without taking off his bandages, only to be chased back home by Nojiko and Nami in turns.
Finally, this morning, the ban was lifted.
Zoro pounced on his swords like a wolf starved for three days and nights. Without hesitation, he rushed out the door, shouting as he ran:
"Kuina—!! Duel me!!!"
Luffy paused. "Eh? A fight? Wait for me—!"
Roy watched these two energetic idiots, facepalming. "...Good grief."
He smiled helplessly and raised his hand—
"SWISH—!"
Space vibrated slightly, and the three of them teleported to the edge of the training grounds.
The next second, all three widened their eyes!
In the center of the training grounds, two figures were clashing fiercely. Fist shadows crossed like thunder, the ground cracked continuously, and a series of explosive booms rang through the air!

Enel's arms were covered in jet-black Armament Haki. Though the lightning was restrained, his ferocity was undiminished. Stepping with lightning speed, his punches flowed like a tide. Despite his slender frame, he was trading blows head-on with Zephyr!
Neither held back. Every punch carried a heavy sonic boom. Flesh met flesh, and almost everyone present could feel the shockwaves!
The surrounding Marine interns were dumbfounded. Ace, standing in the crowd, also looked shocked. "Is that the same Enel who sat on a cloud pretending to be a god all day?!"
"Did one trip change his personality that much?!!"
Kuina stood at the edge of the field, arms crossed, whispering in awe, "His progress is too fast... In just a few days, his Armament Haki can clash with Instructor Zephyr?"

His gaze shifted to Zephyr.
Zephyr's movements seemed steady and heavy, but every punch contained extremely condensed Haki, like an explosion compressed after decades of accumulation.
"Instructor Zephyr's 'Black'... seems deeper now."
"Did that clash with Kaido actually pry open the Haki bottleneck that's plagued him for decades?"
Just as Roy was pondering, a shout erupted from the other end of the training ground.
"KUINA!!! TAKE THIS!!!"
Zoro's fighting spirit rose like flames. All three swords were drawn, creating waves of air pressure. Like a reawakened tiger, he pounced straight toward Kuina at the edge of the battle circle!
Kuina looked back at him, a familiar smile lifting the corners of her mouth, her eyes sharp with battle lust.
"You sword-happy idiot. Just healed up and looking for a beating?"
Despite her teasing, she quietly drew Wado Ichimonji. With a stomp, she shot out like a swallow!
"CLANG—!!!"
Blades clashed, sparks flying!
Sword wind swept the area like blades, forcing the onlookers to retreat instinctively, shock written all over their faces!
"A-Are these really new recruits?!"
"That pressure... it's already approaching Rear Admiral level!"
"What kind of monsters are they?!"
Zoro wielded three swords, his movements agile and fierce as the wind;
Kuina remained calm as ice, her moves clean and precise, every slash accompanied by the sonic boom of clashing Haki!
Ace stood on the sidelines, arms crossed, watching the intense clash between his peers, his expression gradually growing serious.
Roy watched the two young fighters, then glanced at Enel, who was blasted away by Zephyr's punch but immediately scrambled up to fight again. He couldn't help but sigh with emotion.

Every clash on the training ground was proof they were tearing past their limits and approaching the peak.
Luffy's eyes shone as he stared intently at the exchange between Zephyr and Enel, fists clenched tight.
Every clash of Haki sounded like thunder in his ears, boiling his blood, as if every cell in his body was screaming:

The next second, he leaped up, pouncing toward the specially made training dummies on the other side of the field!

A series of impacts sounding like heavy hammer blows rang out. The specially made iron dummies vibrated violently, creaking under the strain.
Ace, still hugging his arms, raised an eyebrow at his little brother's motivated appearance, a slow grin spreading across his face.
"Tch... that idiot finally looks the part."
Just then, Roy turned to look at Luffy. A sentence Zephyr had whispered a few days ago floated into his mind:
"Luffy took that Thunder Bagua for me..."
A meaningful smile curled Roy's lips, and he suddenly shouted, "Ace! You and Luffy spar for a round!!!"
"Hah? Now?" Ace paused, then grinned. "Just the way I like it!!"
"Come on, Luffy! Let me see how much you've grown since that battle!"
"I'm coming—!!!" Luffy shouted excitedly. With a flash, his fist was already flying!
"Bone Fist!!!"
"Fire Fist!!!"
The brothers clashed instantly, taking over the other side of the training ground in a passionate duel!
"BANG—!!!"
Fire and Haki collided violently in the air, scorching flames and shockwaves splashing everywhere!
While defending, Ace's pupils contracted slightly. "He's not using Hybrid Form... he can block my Fire Fist head-on with just Armament Haki?!!"
Luffy grinned brightly. "Hehe! I've been training hard!"
Ace was shaken, and his fighting spirit soared. "Then don't blame me for getting serious!"
In the distance, Roy stood quietly, watching these young people shine in their own ways, feeling a wave of relief and emotion.
"That battle with Kaido... although I couldn't kill him, the ripples it caused far exceeded expectations."
"Enel was beaten awake by the Thunder Bagua, breaking through his Armament Haki bottleneck;
Instructor Zephyr saw a new path from the brink of despair;

In the dim, quiet medical room, heavy breathing suddenly broke the silence.
A massive body twitched violently, then slowly opened bloodshot eyes.
Kaido finally woke up.
He stared at the ceiling for a moment, vision still chaotic, head heavy as if filled with strong liquor.
"Where... is this?"
He sat up with a frown, bones cracking loudly, reaching up to press his temples. "My head... feels like someone smashed it with a hundred-ton fist..."
After a brief daze—
Memories flooded back like a tide.
That scene—that fist exploding like a galaxy!
The moment that punch landed, the whole world seemed to collapse!
"ROY...!!!"
In an instant, Kaido's pupils shrank, his face twisting, veins popping!
"GRAAAAAAAHHHH—!!!"

But a second later, Kaido's movement to stand froze.
He looked down at his densely bandaged chest, abdomen, arms... and felt the dull ache of old wounds.
"..."
He took a deep breath, his face darkening.
Kaido murmured, "Is he ridiculously strong... or have I gotten old?"
"Damn it... and even more damn it..."
He gritted his teeth, fists cracking. The roaring stopped, and the room fell into a dead silence.
"Why am I so pissed off... I lost, clearly. But that bastard threw one punch, patted his ass, and left..."
"He won cleanly, didn't even pursue... like... like..."
Thinking of this, Kaido's face turned iron-green.
"Like he used me as a whetstone, used me up, and left?!!"
As soon as the words left his mouth, Kaido's pupils shook violently. His expression shifted from rage to twisted embarrassment and unwillingness.
"Bastard... did I just... do someone else a favor?!!"
He roared at the ceiling, chest heaving violently, but his gaze held a trace of indescribable... unease.
