Emily crouched down to Thor's level, and he immediately pressed his head against her shoulder, as if sensing she needed comfort. "Besides, he's sweet. And having him here makes it feel more like a home and less like a secure facility."
"Alright then," Timothy agreed. "Thor stays with us. Alfred, can you set up his bed and food bowls up here?"
"Of course, Young Master," Alfred said, looking relieved that Young Madam was happy. "I'll prepare the living area for him immediately."
"YES!" Ming Li cheered, throwing her arms around Thor again. "Did you hear that, boy? You get to stay! We're going to have so much fun!"
Thor bore Ming Li's enthusiasm with remarkable patience, though he kept glancing at Emily, as if checking whether this energetic human was supposed to be hugging him this tightly.
"Li," Emily said gently. "You're squeezing him too hard. Give him some space."
