Timothy's phone rang. Jack.
"We have Stephanie," Jack said. Grabbed her at the motel twenty minutes ago.
"Where is she now?" Timothy asked, putting the phone on speaker so Emily could hear.
"Secure location downtown. One of our interrogation facilities.
'Ready for questioning whenever you are."
Emily stood immediately. "I want to be there."
"Emily…" Timothy started.
"No," Emily interrupted firmly. "Stephanie targeted me, my best friend, and tried to ruin my competition. I deserve to face her."
Timothy studied her face, then nodded. "We'll be there in thirty minutes."
"I'll have everything ready," Jack confirmed and ended the call.

Twenty minutes later, they were in an SUV with Davis driving and two security team members following in a second vehicle. The drive took them to an industrial area on the outskirts of Cloud City warehouses, shipping facilities, places that operated quietly without attracting attention.
