Chapter 101 - A U - 12

What If They Met in Modern Human World?

I meet him at an art gallery. Luca Carter—artist, beautiful, captivating.

"You like this piece?" he asks, noticing me staring.

"I like the artist," I say boldly.

He blushes. "That's me."

"Then I definitely like it." I extend my hand. "Rian Blackwood."

"Luca Carter." His hand in mine feels right. "Are you an artist?"

"CEO. Boring corporate stuff." I don't let go. "But I appreciate beauty."

"Smooth." But he's smiling. "Want to grab coffee?"

Three Months Later - Dating

We're moving fast. Too fast. But it feels right.

"Stay the night," I request after dinner.

"Eager," he teases. "We've only been dating three months."

"Three months too long without you in my bed."

He stays. And doesn't leave.

Six Months Later - Moving In

"This is crazy," Luca says, unpacking boxes. "Six months and we're living together."

"When you know, you know." I wrap my arms around him from behind. "I know."

"Know what?"

"That you're it for me. Forever."

He turns in my embrace. "Forever's a long time."

"Not long enough." I kiss him deeply. "Marry me."

"What?"

"Marry me. I know it's fast. But I love you. Want forever with you." I pull out a ring—yes, I've been carrying it for weeks. "Will you?"

"You're insane."

"For you. Completely." I take his hand. "Say yes."

"Yes," he breathes. "God, yes."

One Year Later - Wedding

"I can't believe we're actually doing this," Luca says, adjusting his tie.

"Getting married or admitting I was right about forever?"

"Both." He grins. "We're crazy."

"We're in love. There's a difference."

The wedding is perfect—small, intimate, just us and close friends.

"I do," I say firmly.

"I do," he echoes.

When we kiss, it's perfect. No magic. No fate. Just choice.

Five Years Later

"Adoption papers are approved!" Luca bursts in, waving documents.

We're adopting—a little boy, age three, named Kai.

"We're going to be dads," I breathe, overwhelmed.

"Best dads ever," he corrects.

Ten Years Later

Kai is thirteen now. We've adopted two more—Luna (10) and Asher (7).

"You two are disgustingly in love," Kai observes at dinner.

"Is that bad?" I ask, hand finding Luca's.

"No. Just gross. But also... nice. Knowing you love each other."

"We do," Luca confirms. "Very much."

"Even without werewolf magic?" Luna asks. She knows about my novels—fantasy romance featuring werewolves.

"Especially without magic," I say. "Real love doesn't need magic. Just commitment."

Twenty Years Later

Luca and I sit on our porch, watching grandchildren play.

"Remember when we met?" he asks. "Art gallery. Twenty-three years ago."

"Best night of my life." I kiss his hand. "Asked you to marry me six months later."

"You were insane."

"I was right." I pull him close. "Forever, Luca. Just like I promised."

"Forever," he agrees.

In this universe, no werewolves. No magic. No bonds.

Just two men choosing each other every day.

Proving love transcends supernatural elements.
