Rian's POV
Luna shifts for the first time at age three.
We're at the park when it happens. She's playing, laughs too hard, and suddenly—
A tiny white wolf pup with silver-blue eyes.
"Oh!" Luca gasps. "Luna!"
She's confused, whimpering. I shift immediately, my black wolf approaching her gently.
It's okay, princess, I project. You're safe. This is normal.
She recognizes me, nuzzles against my fur. I comfort her until she shifts back—naked and crying.
Luca scoops her up immediately. "It's okay, baby. That was just your wolf. You're okay."
"Scared," she sobs.
"I know. But daddy's wolf is here. He'll teach you." He looks at me, and I shift back.
"Your wolf is beautiful, Luna," I tell her. "White and silver, like snow and moonlight."
"Pretty?" She sniffles.
"The prettiest." I kiss her forehead. "And daddy will teach you how to control it. Okay?"
She nods, calming.
That evening, I spend time with Luna in wolf form. Teaching her, showing her it's not scary.
She shifts several times, getting more comfortable. Her little white wolf is playful, curious.
"She's a natural," Luca observes, watching us play.
Kai is jealous. "I wanna play wolf too!"
"Go ahead." I shift back. "Show your sister how good you are."
Kai shifts—his black wolf smaller than mine but strong. He and Luna play together, two wolf pups tumbling.
Asher watches, fascinated. "Me too?"
"Soon, baby. When you're bigger." Luca holds him. "For now, watch your siblings."
Later, all three kids asleep, Luca and I finally relax.
"She was beautiful," he says. "Our little white wolf."
"Like her papa. Unique and perfect." I pull him close. "She's going to be strong. All of them are."
"Thanks to you. Teaching them, guiding them."
"Thanks to us. We're raising them together." I kiss him softly. "Good parents. Great team."
