"You were the one who bought the apartment for me?" my wife asked as I drove us home after the wedding.
"Yes," I said, smiling and squeezing her hand. "But it's not just yours anymore, it's ours now."
She laughed softly. "Oh! I didn't know that. Sora didn't tell me anything."
I grinned. "Well, there's something more important than apartments tonight."
She turned to me, already guessing. "And what might that be, Mr. Ren?"
"Our wedding night," I said with a teasing smile.
Her cheeks flushed pink, but she was quick to reply this time. "I think I'm more excited than you."
Her honesty caught me off guard, it wasn't playful this time, it was sincere, and it made me fall for her all over again.
When we reached home, we changed into something comfortable and freshened up. I poured two glasses of wine and turned around just as she stepped out of the room.
She looked breathtaking. The soft black silk flowed around her like moonlight, her hair loose and eyes shy yet bright. I couldn't help but smile.
Without thinking, I walked to her and lifted her into my arms. "You look beautiful," I whispered.
She turned red instantly, hiding her face against my shoulder. I laughed softly and carried her to the bed, setting her down gently.
For a moment, neither of us said anything. We just looked at each other, the kind of silence that says everything words never could.
I brushed a strand of hair from her face and whispered, "Can I kiss my wife again?"
She smiled, her voice barely above a whisper. "You don't even have to ask, my husband."
I slowly slipped my fingers beneath the strap of her dress, letting it fall softly down her arm. She closed her eyes, smiling as our foreheads touched, and in that quiet moment, it felt like the world outside didn't exist, only us, and the promise we had just made to love each other forever.
"Good morning," she murmured in a sleepy voice, keeping her eyes closed.
"Good morning," I replied softly. "You should sleep a little longer." I hugged her tightly, and she hugged me back.
After a while, we woke up and made breakfast together. Toasting our bread, I asked, "Did you sleep well last night?"
"I had the best sleep of my life," she said, wrapping her arms around me from behind. "What about my husband?"
I took her hand and turned to face her. "From now on, every night will be the best, with you," I whispered, smiling as I kissed her gently.
She wrapped her hand around my neck, her eyes sparkling. "What about morning?" she asked, teasingly.
I let my hand drift gently to her waist, leaning closer. "I think… I'll only know after I try," I replied with a mischievous grin.
Her smile widened, and she tiptoed slightly, whispering softly in my ear, "Then… what are you waiting for?"

"So, this diary was a wedding gift from sister Aria to my brother. I love how she wrote about them, sweet, romantic… honestly, it's adorable. Looks like after my niece was born, they hide it away at our parents' house. Did they forget about me? Hah! Not cool. I wasn't even properly introduced here. Well, no worries… I'll make my grand entrance in my own diary. Watch out,
here comes my story!" Wink.
