Chapter 2 - Departure

While Aisaac was inside the beast ranch, Stefan sat in his room with Freya by his side and three others sitting around, two boys and another girl.

"What did you call us for, Stefan?" The girl said with irritation.

" Why would the queen allow Aisaac to walk out freely..." Stefan said which made the three frown aside from Freya.

"Wasn't it what you wanted?!" The boy with spiky red hair inquired to which Freya just shook her head.

"According what we've watched and read in webnovels, he should have been sent to the dungeon at least for awakening a weak gift, plus he was not supposed to be here"

"Just because he was not meant to be here does not mean he has to enter a dungeon, besides going out to a world you barely know is much more dangerous" the girl retorted.

" Sheila..."Freya frowned before Stefan tapped her arm, she looked at him.

Stefan wore a grin as he stared into space, "he can be banished for all I care, but I have to make sure he has several things to worry about"

" You don't mean..."the other boy said.

" Tch...how pathetic and they called you the hero, this is your true self, an insecure egoist" Sheila said as she stood up and walked towards the door, "I have no hands in whatever you plan, I just hope whatever you do doesn't come to bite you back in your ass"

With a sneer, Sheila walked out of the room.

Stefan's brows curled into a frown as he stared at the door, his fists clenched.

She's still as sharp-tongued as ever, it won't be long before I have you under me, Sheila.

His brows relaxed as he looked at the others.

"Let's do this, shall we?"

"Wait, why are you doing this, though...it is not like Aisaac ever did anything to you" the spiky red haired boy asked.

" Well, call it intuition, I just feel like he would be an obstacle later, why not remove it early" Stefan said.

" An obstacle?..."

Meanwhile back at the beast ranch, Devon and the lady stood, with Devon standing a step behind the lady.

"Your highness, the saintess and the bishop would be arriving tomorrow, won't there he a problem it a summon is missing?" Devon asked.

The lady folded her arms, her gaze still on the closed doors of the ranch, " Aisaac is an extra, they won't notice anything "

Devon wanted to say something but the lady rose her hand to stop him.

"I, Victoria Elseing, is the Queen of Aestoria, we may be under the temple but we still have autonomy over decisions we want to make, they asked for a number of summons, not less, neither more, therefore nothing would go wrong"

The doors opened, as Aisaac stepped out, in his arms was a jade white egg, which seem larger than a normal demon beast egg.

"Was this the egg that responded to you?" Victoria asked with a frown.

" Yes...is there something wrong?" Aisaac saw her expression.

Victories shook her head as she waved her hand "since you have chosen it, may your journey in this world be bountiful"

After saying that, she turned around and walked away.

Devon looked at Aisaac as he held the egg, his eyebrows rose in confusion before he shook his head.

"Let me escort you to the palace gates...beyond there, your life in this world starts"

Aisaac nodded as he sent the egg into his inventory.

*******

Some minutes later, Devon and Aisaac reached the palace gates, where to knights guards stood. Devon stopped while Aisaac continued.

"May the gods be with you" Devon said.

Aisaac just rose a hand above his head as he continued walking.

"Aisaac!!!" Someone called out to him which made him stop and turn around.

So much for my cool exit...sigh*

He saw Sheila running towards his direction, he waited for her while Devon just moved to the side and stood there.

Sheila got to him and stopped before placing her hands on her knees and panted.

"Are you really just going to accept being chased out?"

Aisaac shrugged, "I was not really chased out, it's just my choice besides with Stefan being there, I see no point wasting my time and as you know I have a weak gift"

" There are no weak gift, Aisaac only weak people"Sheila said as she stared at Aisaac who smiled for the first time in a while.

Devon who was at the side looked at Sheila in admiration.

She's much better than the chosen hero.

"So, Aisaac make sure you do not die out there, show this world just what kind of otherworlder you can be"

Aisaac nodded before he turned around, he paused, "Same to you, Sheila, I hope when we meet again, your temperament had not changed"

He continued his walk through the palace gates.

*******

Aisaac walked through the road just outside the royal castle, as he was in the noble area, those walking around were either dressed in gowns or medieval men's wear. Just as he looked around he also received his own share of stares since he was dressed in his uniform which was just a white shirt and black trousers and shoes.

His clothes looked noble but not from this part.

He ignored the stares and looked curiously around, he saw a weapon store.

"I surely would need a weapon, I can't survive without one" he muttered to himself as he walked in, so many kinds of weapons were displayed while further inside a man sat behind the counter sharpening a knife.

The man looked at Aisaac before ignoring him which surprised him, he shrugged and began to look at the weapons on display.

Aisaac stretched his hand and took a sword, his eyes gleamed as he swung out.

[Weapon Mastery]

Sword - 0.01%

"Huh?" Aisaac was puzzled.

He placed the sword back and picked up the spear before twirling it.

[Spear -0.01%]

"It can't be..."

Aisaac decided to try all the weapons on display which caused the man at the counter to frown as he stared at him.

His status became like this:

[Weapon Mastery: 0.0001%]

Sword - 0.01%

Spear - 0.01%

Axe - 0.01%

...

Dagger -0.01%

"Oi, are you buying anything or not?" The man called out to him which pulled him out of his thoughts.

He looked toward the man and walked up to the counter.

"I want every kind of weapon you have, the best, the better"
