Jungtae woke to the sound of a piano. He blinked and stared at the black door inside Woojin's room, then glanced at the watch around his wrist. It was 2:34 a.m.
Jungtae's eyes closed tight. He remembered it again…the murder. Woojin's serious face doing the gruesome thing. He hit his head hard. "No, no, no." He didn't want to remember. His heart beat fast.
He sat up slowly. Only then did he realize something, his foot wasn't chained to the wall again. Woojin didn't have his ankle chained while he was asleep, and Jungtae felt a little relief.
He stood and walked quietly toward the door. It was slightly open. Jungtae paused and peeked inside.

Woojin's back faced him. His fingers moved smoothly across the piano keys, steady and practiced. Just from watching, it was clear Woojin had played like this for years.Though, the melody filled the room, slow and heavy, pressing into Jungtae's chest.
