Many pirates and pirate hunters saw the entire crew of the Bellamy Pirates walking out of the restaurant, and it was clear they were not joking around or in any playful mood. On the contrary, the atmosphere among the crew seemed unusually serious. Their footsteps were heavy, their expressions dark.
They didn't know exactly what had happened to make the whole Bellamy Pirates move out together like this, but they knew one thing for sure—someone was about to have a very bad day.
Because today, it was obvious to everyone watching that Bellamy was angry. And the same seemed to be the case for the rest of the Bellamy Pirates.
So, out of curiosity—wondering who exactly was going to suffer at the hands of the Bellamy Pirates—many people began following them. Of course, they maintained a safe distance, careful not to be misunderstood by Bellamy's crew and become their targets instead.
As they moved through the street, after just a few minutes, they encountered another wave of people walking from the opposite direction. These people were following Gojo, who was dragging Sarquiss behind him along the street.
The two streams of spectators slowly merged, curiosity spreading like wildfire.
These people were also here to watch the inevitable clash—what would happen when Gojo and Bellamy finally collided.
Because if earlier people had been sceptical about whether Gojo was truly strong, those doubts had already begun to fade. Gojo had completely dominated Sarquiss, humiliatingly defeating him and now dragging him through the streets like dead weight.
He really beat Sarquiss that badly…
Soon, Bellamy saw Gojo approaching from the other side of the street, and the two groups came to a halt as both men faced each other.
For a moment, the street fell eerily quiet.
Bellamy's eyes immediately fell on Sarquiss.
Sarquiss was barely conscious, his body limp as he was dragged across the ground. Dirt and dust clung to his clothes, and he looked like someone who could lose consciousness at any second.
And the worst part—the most humiliating part—was that he was being dragged through the street like some kind of captured animal.
Like a monkey.
A faint twitch appeared on Bellamy's face.
Clearly, this was humiliating not just for Sarquiss, but for the entire Bellamy Pirates.
After all, Sarquiss was not some ordinary member of the Bellamy Pirates.
He was Bellamy's first pirate—his right-hand man.
Sarquiss, the moment he saw Bellamy, suddenly seemed to find his backbone. Struggling against the pain, he lifted his head and immediately shouted, his voice hoarse but filled with anger.
"Captain! Don't let this man live! He has humiliated us—humiliated the Bellamy Pirates! He called us a pile of garbage. Do not let this man live!"
His shout echoed through the street, drawing the attention of everyone watching.
But as soon as Bellamy heard those words, instead of directing his anger toward Gojo, his face twisted in fury as he glared at Sarquiss.
"You bastard! Why are you shouting like that?" Bellamy roared, his voice filled with rage. "You've already dragged the name of the Bellamy Pirates through the dirt! Do you not know that we are the associate pirates of the Donquixote Family?"
The name alone caused several pirates in the crowd to stiffen.
Bellamy stepped forward, his teeth grinding.
"Do you know what will happen when Doffy finds out about this?" he continued angrily. "He'll kill me for sure! You trash! You were defeated by just a nobody!"
Sarquiss clenched his teeth but couldn't say anything back. His battered body trembled slightly as he remained half-dragged across the ground.
Meanwhile, as soon as Gojo heard the names Donquixote and Doffy, a flicker of understanding crossed his face.
So they're affiliated with the Donquixote Family…
In an instant, he understood everything. These Bellamy Pirates were associate pirates working under the Donquixote Family. In other words, this Bellamy guy worked for Doflamingo.
And the moment that realization settled in, a small smile slowly appeared on Gojo's face.
If earlier Gojo had only planned to casually ask Bellamy for the Eternal Pose to Water 7 and leave afterward—without bothering to target the Bellamy Pirates at all—then now his thoughts had completely changed.
Now, he suddenly had the urge to destroy the Bellamy Pirates entirely.
After all, they worked under the Donquixote Family.
And sooner or later, he was going to destroy the Donquixote Family anyway and kill Doflamingo.
Gojo had not forgotten.
After all, he had received his Supreme Grade Sword from Kishimoto on the promise that he would one day destroy Doflamingo.
With that thought, Gojo casually cut through Bellamy's angry rant.
"Well," Gojo said lazily, interrupting him, "if you want to bicker among yourselves, then do it after I leave, okay?"
He slightly tightened his grip on Sarquiss's collar, the unconscious pirate scraping lightly against the street.
"I just came here to ask for the Eternal Pose to Water 7. Give me that, and you guys can fight among yourselves all you want."
Gojo shrugged indifferently.
"I don't give a shit."
As soon as Bellamy heard this, he looked furiously toward Gojo. His eyes burned with rage. If looks alone could kill, then Gojo would have been dead thousands of times over already.
But Bellamy restrained himself.
Taking a slow breath, he asked, "You want the Eternal Pose to Water 7? That's why you targeted our Bellamy Pirates, right?"
As soon as Gojo heard this, he replied casually, "Not exactly. I mean, I was just asking politely, but your men didn't seem to understand whom they shouldn't offend or things like that—you understand, right?"
He gave a small shrug.
"So, things happened. I didn't want to engage in combat or anything with your Bellamy Pirates."
For a brief moment, the street remained silent.
Then Bellamy spoke.
"Very well," he said, his tone suddenly calmer. "I will give you the Eternal Pose to Water 7."
After saying this, he turned toward the crew member who had guided him here earlier.
"Go. Bring the Eternal Pose to Water 7."
The crew member quickly nodded and immediately ran off.
The crowd murmured quietly as they watched the situation unfold. A tense silence lingered in the air.
Soon, within a few minutes, the pirate returned, running back through the street while panting heavily. Sweat dripped down his face as he held a small object tightly in his hand.
The Eternal Pose.
He handed it to Bellamy.
Bellamy took the Eternal Pose and then slowly walked forward toward Gojo. His footsteps echoed faintly on the stone street.
Soon he stopped in front of Gojo, leaving only about one and a half arm-lengths of distance between them.
Bellamy raised his hand, holding the Eternal Pose out toward Gojo.
"Here is the Eternal Pose."
Gojo smiled faintly.
"It seems not everyone in your crew is insensible and a fool," he said calmly. "You, being the captain, are a sensible one. That is a very good thing. You are great."
After saying this, Gojo reached out his hand to take the Eternal Pose.
But in the very next moment—
Crack.
Bellamy suddenly crushed the Eternal Pose in his hand.
The glass shattered instantly, fragments falling to the ground.
For a split second, everything went silent.
Gojo's smiling expression slowly disappeared. His face darkened, his eyes turning cold as the broken pieces of the Eternal Pose scattered on the street between them.
His hand moved toward the sword resting across his back, fingers gripping the hilt.
"You piece of shit," Gojo said coldly.
His voice was no longer casual.
"You dare to play games with me?"
His grip on the sword tightened.
"You—a nobody like you—are trying to humiliate me?"
A dangerous aura surrounded him.
"No one in this world can humiliate me. Only I can humiliate others."
As soon as Bellamy saw Gojo reaching for his sword, he immediately retreated several steps backward. His instincts screamed at him.
If Gojo could injure Sarquiss to such a terrible degree, then there was no doubt that Gojo was powerful.
Bellamy might be arrogant, but he was not a complete fool.
He would not underestimate Gojo after seeing what had happened to Sarquiss.
But by then, it was already too late.
In his anger, Gojo unsheathed his sword in a single smooth motion.
The blade flashed in the sunlight.
Without hesitation, Gojo swung the sword forward.
A powerful flying slash burst out from the blade, tearing through the air as it shot directly toward the Bellamy Pirates.
