He had not only left Xiaoshui in the Heart Kingdom but also left Xiaolan there to train — maybe blue dragon could bring him another surprise.

Meanwhile, when Vanessa and her team returned from their mission in the Diamond Kingdom, they brought grim news — the Spade Kingdom had invaded.
A man with a chilling aura had single-handedly subdued the Diamond Kingdom's army. Even the Eight Shining Generals were no match for him.
Everyone knew the saying: "The lips and teeth depend on each other."
If the Diamond Kingdom fell, could the Heart and Clover Kingdoms be far behind?

Yami glanced over as several people walked out of a spatial portal. Finral was being bossed around by the captain again, nearly forgetting his own misery.

"Everyone, train like hell!" Yami barked. "We'll be launching a counterattack on the Spade Kingdom in six months. There's also an opportunity to train in the Heart Kingdom soon — don't waste it!"

Map in hand and spirits high, Adam set off toward the Diamond Kingdom.
Meanwhile, Ladin — who had already absorbed four types of demonic energy — found himself unable to defeat Zenon Zogratis, who was using 70% of his devil's power.
Forced to flee in a panic, Ladin's infiltration of the Diamond Kingdom's upper ranks was completely ruined by this monster.
The army had been annihilated, and Ladin himself was severely injured.

The soldiers were using Diamond Kingdom citizens as fuel for the fortress. Once their magic was drained, death was their only fate.
"Animals…"
Adam couldn't bear to watch anymore. He reverted to human form, kicked through the glass, and stormed inside.
"Who are you?!"
A soldier aimed his weapon at Adam in panic — only to be blasted by a roaring dragon flame.
"Enemy attack!"
The soldiers outside immediately sounded the alarm. The entire war fortress whirred to life.
"Water Magic: Roar of the Sea Dragon!"
A gigantic sea dragon burst forth, sweeping away the soldiers who had rushed in. Everyone inside was dead within seconds — Adam had to move fast.
He transformed back into a bee and flew toward the town's center. More fortresses loomed there, embedded like nails driven into the Diamond Kingdom's body, endlessly draining the land's essence.
This country had lost the war — not even given the chance to surrender. Its people had become fuel for the enemy's next conquest. Only death awaited them.
Adam descended toward a massive pit, above which floated a super-sized war fortress.
This was the site where Windwhisper Town once held its annual sacrifices. According to legend, a ferocious beast slumbered below, and the townspeople would offer food each year to ensure safety.
Adam dove straight down. The tunnel's air grew colder, the walls narrower.
"Poison Magic: Slime Lizard!"
"Lightning Magic: Lightning Spear!"
Bright light flared ahead. Before Adam could reach it, he heard sounds of fierce battle below. When he entered the cavern, he saw a golden lightning spear piercing a middle-aged man's chest.
Several Spade soldiers lay dead on the ground. The man wielding the lightning — his figure seemed strangely familiar.
"If I can't kill your master, I can at least kill you!"
Ladin stomped on the Dark Apostle's head in fury. Then, sensing something behind him, he suddenly spun around and hurled another lightning spear.
"Die!"
"Dragon Blast!"
Adam quickly reverted to human form. This guy's reflexes were sharp — sharper than a dog's nose — and his aim was deadly. Had he stayed as a bee, he'd have been fried to a crisp.
Flames and lightning clashed with a deafening boom! Smoke filled the cavern as countless green lightning orbs shot toward Adam.
"Super Dragon Blast!"
Adam countered instantly. The vibrant cave turned into a raging battlefield of fire and lightning.
Several Spade soldiers rushed down the tunnel — only to be reduced to ash before they could even raise their wands.
Their screams echoed horribly. Ladin froze.
Wait. Wasn't this guy from the Spade Kingdom?
Why was he killing his own men?
Even while hurling lightning orbs, Ladin was analyzing carefully. That strange magic power, those powerful attacks… and that blurry silhouette…
It couldn't be—
Ladin's eyes widened.
"Your Excellency... are you Adam!?" he shouted suddenly.
"I'll be damned—"
Adam blinked. The voice was familiar… and that aura—
Could it be?
The blurry figure before him looked suspiciously like the chubby merchant burned into his memory.
But this guy had lost weight!
"Are you... Ladin?"
The two men stopped attacking, glaring at each other warily — each trying to confirm if the other was really that same annoying bastard.
Cunning profiteer... brutal madman!
