Chapter 2 - Flash back

The world was filled with screams.

The towers of falenheim crumbled, and a cracked gray sky rained down embers instead of water.

Waves of monsters appeared out of nowhere, no one knew who had unleashed them or where they had come from.

All people knew was that they were merciless.

Falenheim, the last safe city, had its defenses torn apart like paper. All that remained was the ashes of hope.

In the midst of the chaos, Bilal and his companions fought... to no avail.

Marco fell to the ground, breathing his last breaths over his broken sword.

Selika burned with fire that exploded from her heart as she screamed, "I won't give up! I won't give up!"

Kim, his limbs severed, whispered, "If there is a next time... we won't make the same mistakes."

Loki tries to save a child from under the rubble, but the monster is faster than her, and the scream is torn apart with a blow.

Bilal, his face covered in blood and his sword broken, shouts, "We are not the ones to fall like this... Not now!"

Then—

Silence.

The whole universe stops...

No sound. No pain. No light.

Then...

The real beginning

A faint light seeps through a stone window.

Heavy breathing echoes in the chest of a small child, drenched in sweat, as if a nightmare has just emerged from within him.

Bilal, his eyes wide, looks around...

The sound of footsteps on the dirt... Children screaming in the streets...

The city of "Valheim" as he hasn't seen it in years.

Small, vibrant with life.

He gets out of bed, whispering: "We're back... Are we really back?"

In different parts of the city, the same thing happened:

Marco wakes up in an old blacksmith's workshop, staring at his thin hands: "I... I'm still alive?"

Selika gets up from the grass in her family's backyard: "This can't be... Are we...?"

Kim opens his eyes on the roof of a house, breathing slowly: "I didn't die? No... We're back."

Loki wipes away a tear that fell unconsciously and whispers: "They gave us another chance."

The city is teeming with life, innocent of the fate that awaits it.

But in the hearts of those five, something had changed.

They had tasted the end...

and returned to prevent it.

Thus, their meeting was inevitable.

At the age of seven, in the same neighborhood where they grew up, they met again—not as children, but as surviving souls carrying the memory of impending death.

From that moment on, they began to prepare.

This time, nothing would be taken from them.

This time... they would fight knowing what awaited them.

But time is not a game.

And every change... has a price.
