James watched as the newly formed United States rapidly advanced in both magic power, gaining a large number of Rank 1 Magi, and increasing their existing Rank 3 Magi to 12, from the original 8. Furthermore, their technology also progressed; achieving basic industrialisation in most aspects of the economy, shifting their populous from major farms towards urbanised cities wish factories.
"Hey now… this nation is turning into a superpower of its own as long as it can survive long enough…" James mused aloud before turning his attention to the Collective Energy he had collected through the course of this war.
It was not enough for his latest plan, but he could at least push forward with it. He had confirmed with the system, and it had given him a rather interesting reply…

Faith, as it turned out, was a higher power. Higher than Collective Energy, and thus, just using a little bit of faith could result in vast changes in reality. Of course, this also meant that Faith was rather hard to and took a long time to procure.
Plus, changing reality had its limits. Pushing any further that those limits would not be allows by reality itself, and the system stated this as an undeniable fact, no matter how much faith energy was used for the result.
On the other hand, Collective Energy, being a 'lower' power than faith, was easier to come by, and could be collected faster. Although more of it was needed for transactions with causality, the mere fact that it was a transaction meant that there would never be a hard limit on what it could do. As long as enough Collective Energy was used, a number of things could become possible.
If something was not possible… it just meant the race spirit was not using enough collective energy.
James' expression turned serious as he began to use vast quantities of collective energy. 10… 100… 1,000… 10,000… more and more Collective Energy was being burnt, and in exchange, something was being built.
It was a road. One that was hidden from Gods and Race Spirits alike. And this road, built like a tunnel within the empty space of the Star cluster James was in, hidden beneath the void between obscure dimensions.
The pathway was built from his planet 'Neues Reich'. It then went to each star system, creating a node within each before moving onto the next. The Star cluster comprised of almost 200 star systems, and James had decided to create one nodes in every 10 star system, all of which connected together at Neues Reich.
This action alone had made him expend half his Collective Energy. Of course, this was what he had collected from the small percentage he was siphoning off from the total cycle that kept his race alive. He would never harm the foundation of his race unless he had a better option.
'I cannot spend Collective Energy to connect to planets without race spirits, or the investment would fail,' James mused before beginning to put down a message on the star-cluster forum.
Yes, the system had thankfully changed the god-awful star-cluster chat into the more organised forum, and James was thankful for it.
