Chapter 8 - Chapter 8: The Dungeon Beyond Limits

The 12th-floor ambush nearly cost them everything — but with help from passing A-rank adventurers, they survived. The Silver Fangs disbanded afterward, and Lior returned to his humble life in Windcrest.

He worked, saved money, and trained relentlessly. The image of his mother's sorrow never left his mind.

He knew his next step.To reach the capital and face his father's world, he needed to qualify for the Unizone Tournament. Only the top twelve finalists from each zone would be allowed to compete — and from there, gain access to the Seven Guilds of the capital.

So Lior began preparing for the impossible.

He bought supplies, enchanted gear, potions, and scrolls — everything needed to survive an extended dungeon run. His plan: conquer the Windcrest Dungeon alone.

Standing at the gate, he whispered,"Come forth, Terra, Ignis, Sylph, Aqua."

The four elementals materialized, their presence filling the air with elemental harmony.

"Let's do this," he said.

From the first floor to the 20th, their progress was relentless. Every battle brought new power — new skills, job classes, and mana boosts.

By the time they reached floor 37, all his elementals had achieved B+ Rank, their strength surpassing even the city's A-rank adventurers.

Yet something was off.The system claimed "B+," but their abilities defied logic. Lior's confusion grew.

"Even A-ranks couldn't handle this kind of power…" he murmured.

Was the system hiding something from him?

Still, he pushed forward. The deeper he went, the more he learned: the system allowed trading, storing funds, even marketplace access. His dungeon earnings grew, his skills multiplied, and his stats reached levels he'd never dreamed of.

At last, after weeks of descent — he stood before the 50th floor.

And what awaited was nothing like before.
