"Shizune!! Heal that bastard! Quick!" Tsunade shouted, dropping her transformation jutsu since she didn't see a point for it anymore.
Shizune rushed up to Danzo who was still stuck on the wall before she quickly began to heal him using the mystic palm jutsu.
In the meantime, Tsunade folded her hands and looked at Shikaku and Kakashi.
"What's going on?"
Kakashi and Shikaku shared a glance before Shikaku took a step forward while scratching his neck.
"Someone named Ultra Fighter somehow changed Danzo's mind… and turned him into Ultra Fighter's Dog."
"Ultra Fighter?" Tsunade asked, bewildered. "What sort of moniker is that? That sounds like a kid made up something they fancied and ran with it."
"Well it couldn't have been a kid." Shikaku shook his head, "He entered the Hokage Officer and attacked Danzo in spite of the ROOT shinobi on duty."
"Any news on how Danzo was attacked?"
Shikaku simply looked at the unconscious ROOT shinobi.
Tsunade understood and walked up to the poor chap before lifting him up by his collar and giving him a tight slap, strong enough to knock his mask off.
"UGH!? Da- Danzo-sama!! I'm not your peeing pole!!! Don't piss on me!!!"
A sudden silence gripped the Hokage office, even Shizune paused for a second while healing Danzo as everyone took in the words that the ROOT shinobi said.
Shikaku coughed slightly to break the silence causing the ROOT shinobi to truly wake up.
"Ugh… why does my head feel like I got hit by a Kage…" the ROOT shinobi mumbled before looking up and seeing Tsunade in front of him. "Tsun- Tsunade-sama!!!"
The ROOT shinobi instantly pulled his kunai out of his tools pouch causing Tsunade to frown, she snatched the kunai from the ROOT shinobi's hands before using enhanced strength to snap the kunai in half and toss it at Danzo.
The ROOT shinobi froze.
Shikaku coughed again before speaking up, "By the power vested in me as the interim Hokage, given to me by Danzo Shimura of the leaf village, I order you to explain how Danzo got into this state!"
The ROOT shinobi was unwilling but since he couldn't disobey Danzo's orders, even indirect ones, because of the cursed tongue eradication seal still on his tongue, he spoke about everything he knew.
"According to Torune Aburame, who was at the scene at the time, an invisible intruder specialising in mind arts attacked Yamanaka Fu and disabled him before somehow attacking Danzo."
"Yamanaka Fu was pronounced dead at the scene, but he was sent to the hospital by Danzo-sama along with Torune."
"Hmmm…? A shinobi was suddenly attacked? No one saw him enter the building? Or exit it?" Tsunade asked with suspicion.
"No… according to Torune, Fu suddenly fainted before coming back to consciousness weakened, presumably from a spirit limbo battle. Later Fu reported that the perpetrator used danzo's chakra in the cursed tongue eradication seal to form a connection with him and attack him."
Tsunade frowned.
What she just heard sounded like professional bullshit told by someone who didn't understand how seals worked.
There was no way to control another person's chakra to use it to attack someone else, especially not chakra stored inside a seal.
But then her frown deepened as she thought of something else that fit the exact description of the perpetrator.
"A person that no one can see… going in or out of buildings… someone that can forcibly turn someone unconscious… doesn't that fit someone we know, Kakashi?"
Kakashi's eyes widened.
"You know Ultra Fighter!?" Shikaku asked, bewildered.
Kakashi quickly shook his head, "We don't know him personally… he's… a person that happened to help us out… he was the one that gave me the information I gave you regarding Danzo's sharingan studded arm."
Shikaku's eyes widened!
"There was someone that knew about the rebellion and you didn't tell me!?"
"Well…" Kakashi scratched his face, "I was going to tell you…"
"Let me guess. You forgot about it on the way of life." Shikaku completed.
Kakashi smiled wryly. "It's not like it was a secret…"
It was at this point in time that the ROOT shinobi shouted out loud!
"You know who did this to Danzo-sama!? We must bring him back!! Immediately so that Danzo-sama can be fixed!"
Tsunade slapped the guy once again, causing him to 'fall asleep'.
"What are we to do now?" Tsunade asked Shikaku directly since she'd picked up on the fact that he was now the interim Hokage.
"Well… I'm not interested in the Hokage seat… so might as well auction it… unless you want to be the Hokage Tsunade-sama?"
Tsunade simply clenched her fist and produced knuckle cracking sounds, "What do you think…"
"As I was saying… we'll do it the actual way then… let's go for a Jonin vote."
"And what will you tell everyone about Danzo?"
"...we'll inform all the clan leaders… but tell everyone else that he's on permanent leave due to health reasons..." Shikaku gave the standard diplomatic answer.
But Tsunade shook her head.
"That's hardly a good answer… if you do that people will try to insinuate that the current Hokage killed the previous one…"
"It's better you let the rebellion play out and then capture that dog and throw him in a cell somewhere in a prison or just gift him to the Daimyo, I'm sure he'll treat the freak 'well' if you know what I mean..."
"A rebellion huh…" Shikaku said softly.
"Troublesome… but understandable… I'll arrange for it with the Uchiha… I'll make sure none of the sides are hurt too badly before the vote for the next Hokage takes place…"
"But this way it'll probably go to Fugaku for leading the rebellion… are you sure you want to do this?"
Tsunade closed her eyes for a second and sighed before opening them again, "He's a part of the hidden leaf village too. It's time an Uchiha was given the honor of carving their face onto the Hokage rock…"
"They'll be impressed with your resolve Tsunade-sama… with your vote his ascendance is basically history already." Shikaku nodded.
Tsunade then stood up, "Alright… Shizune, let's go… leave that dog to Shikaku, simply letting him live is a fortune for him… Ultra Fighter's punishment for him is a perfect fit for a bastard like him."
"Wait! Tsunade-sama!" Kakashi suddenly interjected, "You still need to remove the cursed tongue eradication seal from Shikaku and the several other shinobi marked by it."
"Remove it? Can't Danzo do that himself-" Tsunade asked when she noticed the arm in Kakashi's hands and sighed deeply.
"Well… all he has to do is reabsorb his chakra from the seal… I can handle the rest. Get everyone who wants their seal removed in a line first thing tomorrow morning… I'll do it all at once."
Kakashi nodded.
"Let's go Shizune!"
"Yes Tsunade-sama!" Shizune said leaving the half healed Danzo still stuck to the wall.
Haruto, who was floating around listening to their entire conversation, spoke out loud at that moment.
"Did you hear that Tobirama?"
"I bet you're rolling around on the floor right now… knowing that the next Hokage will be an Uchiha that was endorsed by the only living Senju…"
"I wonder if Madara is with you guys… I wonder what his expression is like as he learns of all this… Isn't the hidden leaf village a good place? Why are you hell bent on destroying the world which contains it?"
