The ROOT shinobi nearly fell backwards with surprise and shock.
Danzo was giving away the position of the Hokage? The one thing he desired so much that he even once attempted an assassination on the
Third Hokage?
Who was this man?
Was he really still Danzo?
Or had some freak replaced him?
Everyone then looked at Danzo rolling on the floor like a dog and instantly came to the same conclusion.
'He's been replaced… right?'
The ROOT shinobi contemplated pulling out a kunai and stabbing Danzo just to check, but the cursed tongue eradication seal was still holding strong and held him back.
Kakashi and Shikaku however were ecstatic!
Shikaku looked at Danzo and spoke softly, "Danzo-sama-"
"I'M NOT THAT FILTHY DANZO!!!" Danzo shouted.
"Right… Ultra Fighter's… Do- Dog…" Shikaku said and Danzo quickly smiled happily.
"What do you think about removing the cursed tongue eradication seal from me?"
"Oh!? Can I do that?! But I thought Danzo applied those and only he could remove them!? Won't me tampering with them cause them to kill you woof!?"
Shikaku felt slightly worried at this point in time.
'Is it going to be difficult to get him to remove it?'
But Danzo then ordered Shikaku anyway, "Well let's try it out on you first then I'll know if I can free everyone of this curse or not! If it doesn't work… we can just consider it a sacrifice for the greater good of the village."
'So he's still Danzo after all…'
Shikaku bent low to give Danzo the access to the cursed tongue eradication seal on his tongue and took a risk he calculated would tip in his favour a hundred percent of the time.
After all, unlike Danzo, Shikaku still had his head on his shoulders, he'd just seen Danzo remove the sharingan studded arm from his body and hand it over to Kakashi.
That was proof enough.
Danzo lifted his left hand up and brought it to Shikaku, but then froze.
"Wait.. I don't have a second hand… I can't form the hand seals necessary to release the cursed tongue eradication seal!" Danzo said with a bewildered expression.
Shikaku froze as did Kakashi.
They looked at each other before asking the same question, 'How do we get rid of it then?'
Kakashi had an idea but he didn't know if it was going to work, so he whispered his solution to Shikaku.
"Can we bring Tsunade-sama here… she's the most knowledgeable about the seal after all…"
Shikaku thought hard for a second before looking at the dog like Danzo and whispered back, "Maybe she can check on him too… ask her to disguise herself before coming here."
Kakashi nodded and quickly summoned Pakkun before scribbling something in a spare scroll and handing it over to his dog.
Only… as soon as Pakkun arrived, Danzo leaped over to smell the dog's butt as well.
Everyone covered their mouths simultaneously to prevent themselves from puking.
"What is he doing, Kakashi?" Pakkun asked, completely unfazed while letting Danzo smell his butt as if he'd seen much worse things in the world.
"It's… complicated… I need you to deliver this scroll to our guest." Kakashi explained without really telling anything for now before Pakkun simply nodded and jumped out of the window without waiting for Danzo's diagnosis on his condition.
Except, before Pakkun left, everyone heard an audible "Brrr.." from Pakkun's butt as he showed a relaxed expression.
Everyone expected Danzo to move away when that happened but he leaned into it and even took a deep breath, as if he were breathing fresh air.
Kakashi bit his tongue to keep himself from puking while Shikaku simply closed his eyes and thought about torturing his friend Inoichi by telling him to read this particular memory of his.
The ROOT agent simply fell unconscious, this shock was too great for him.

Tsunade was fast asleep when she heard a soft paw at the door.
She immediately felt the chakra she'd already released into the air to feel who was behind the door.
'A dog?'
'Kakashi's summon?'
'What's got him to use his summon to contact me instead of coming down here himself… wait…'
Tsunade used her chakra to feel the entire house once again and found it completely empty.
'He's not here? Where is he?'
Tsunade expanded her search radius by controlling all her chakra in the air to thin it out a little more and spread it across the entire village.
'The Hokage office?'
'He's with Danzo… what's he doing there?'
'Did we get caught?'
'...well nothing wrong about it… I can simply contribute to the rebellion by giving Danzo a punch or two.'
"Shizune wake up." Tsunade said as she opened the door to receive her little guest.
Shizune woke up almost instantly being a trained shinobi before looking at Kakashi's summon with some surprise.
"Did Kakashi go somewhere Tsunade-sama?"
"The Hokage office, he's with Danzo."
Shizune's eyes widened but Tsunade didn't expand any further so she didn't ask her any more questions.
"Transform yourself into a random shinobi wearing the Konoha headband. Then we'll go to the Hokage office too." Tsunade said while Shizune nodded.
"Do you know anything about the situation?" Tsunade asked Kakashi's little dog.
"It's… complicated…" Pakkun repeated Kakashi's words causing Tsunade to frown.
After both Tsunade and Shizune transformed, they immediately left for the Hokage office. With the streets still being empty because it was the middle of the night, they reached the Hokage office without any troubles.
Tsunade was not one for manners, but they were currently disguised, so she held back her urge to kick the doors open before politely knocking on it.
Knock Knock
The door opened instantly, Kakashi opened it allowing her to take a step into the room. However as soon as she saw the blood in the room she froze!
"Are you alright?" Kakashi asked, noticing the difference.
Shizune immediately stepped in front of Tsunade and blocked her view of the scene as she spoke in a manly tone, "It's fine. Just a little light headed is all. We need a few minutes-"
"No… I'm alright." Tsunade said in a manly tone of her own, her brain was functioning slower but she calmly clenched her fists and forced herself to calm down for now by digging her nails into her palm to feel pain.
Only, as soon as Tsunade stepped into the room, Danzo rushed towards her on his three limbs!
"Watch out!" Kakashi shouted out loud causing Tsunade to immediately enter combat mode!
Only, the second she saw Danzo rushing at her, she froze once again.
What was she supposed to do? Hit Danzo? But wouldn't that upset the rebellion?
But why was his arm missing?
'Wait.. why is he running on his hand and legs like an Inuzuka clan member!?'
Tsunade's freezing allowed Danzo to slide to a stop beside Tsunade's behind and immediately stick his nose up!
"WHAT THE HELL!?!?!??!" Tsunade shouted out loud before her fist came down with righteous fury at Danzo's head, intending to crush it whole into pulp.
Gone was her fear of blood for the moment as her anger took over with full force.
BANG!!!
Danzo flew hard and slammed into the wall causing his wounds that had been marginally healed by the ROOT shinobi to reopen.
"What do you think you're doing you bastard!?!? Is the Hokage position cursed to be filled with perverts?! There was Sensei and now there's you!" Tsunade cursed instantly before using the body flicker jutsu to appear in front of Danzo whose head had a very different shape from before because of the punch.
"Tsunade-sama!!! Stop!!" Shikaku shouted out loud causing Tsunade to freeze again as she realised that she was looking at blood.
Even more, her hands quivered as she quickly realised what she'd just done, she'd punched Danzo in the head!
'Has the rebellion failed!?' Tsunade thought to herself.
Tsunade looked for help in Kakashi's direction and spotted the arm studded with sharingain he was holding and suddenly things about the situation in front of her started to feel slightly off.
'Wait a second…'
'Why would Danzo's hand be in Kakashi's hands?'
Danzo suddenly whimpered behind her.
"Ultra… Fighter's… dog… shall… prevail…" Danzo whimpered before fainting out of too much blood loss from his open wounds.
"What the hell?" Tsunade asked no one in particular and everyone in the room at the same time.
