Chapter 11 - Chapter 2: Summoned (part 8)

" I've always called you Dark Lord because it's your title, but do you have a name?"

"No, sir, I am an entity of the dark world, I don't need a name, I am called by the name of my class and that's how I am recognized in the dark world along with others who are like me and are also Dark Lords, each one rules over an area of the dark world, all the demons you have seen are from my area, fortunately, it's one of the largest, so you, my lord, have all who follow me as your own subjects, I want to give everything to you, the one I know is the chosen to rule us."

—I had to ask this because apparently my evaluation skill doesn't work on him, it gives no data beyond his title, which he himself says is his class, I suppose there are still things unknown to me.

"I understand, would you like to have a name? I can give you one, it will be better to call you by your own name."

"My lord, I will accept anything that comes from you with humility."

"In that case, let me think a little, you are the first being who follows me, the first number is zero, Zero... Zerothiel, that will be your name."

A new skill has been learned.

Rankless Skill Contact with Abbadom

[Description]

Allows opening a portal to the dark world in the area of Abbadom, this does not consume MP regardless of how long the gate remains open or the number of beings that emerge from the portal//

—Wow, that's amazing. All this just for naming him?

"My lord, I am not worthy of your gifts, but let me thank you by reaffirming my position...

I, Zerothiel, Dark Lord of Abbadom, will serve you always, my lord Uriel, for all eternity if necessary, please guide us toward your ambitions."

—The skill Supremacy Conjuration is truly terrifying... he even says he'll serve me eternally, at this point I'm worried he doesn't have a will of his own, I must treat him well so that if one day the effect wears off, he doesn't kill me so cruelly...

"I'm glad you liked the name... I can even call you Zero."

Zerothiel smiled slightly while looking forward again.

Uriel smiled as well and also noticed that they had already advanced quite a lot. The demonic horses were much faster than normal horses or other mounts, so they began to move at great speed, without much trouble finding strong beings to bother them. They went through many difficult paths, cliffs, snowy mountains, forests, until they reached a desert after 10 days of travel. It was a very warm and arid desert. Also, faintly, some presences began to manifest around them.

Uriel heard a whisper that seemed to come from the wind and the sand swirling around him saying "finally" among laughter. Even Zerothiel could hear it, which made him stand guard.

"My lord..."

"Yes"

From the sand, figures of beings with animal-like but humanoid appearances emerged, among them, one that looked like a crocodile approached first. Uriel tried to check their stats, but to his surprise, the same thing happened as with Prophet Yin, an interference prevented reading the information and it seemed damaged, and the stats screen turned red.

—What... again this? It seems my Sage's Eye has limitations I don't know.

"Who are you who dare to appear before my lord with such bloodlust?"

"Us? We are avatars of those you call the fallen gods of the celestial war of the organization... we want to return to battle and reclaim what belongs to us, for that we must find strong vessels... you two will be perfect, let us take over you and feel proud that we'll take you as avatars."

Immediately they began moving fast like shadows around Uriel and Zerothiel, apparently there were five: the one with the crocodile appearance, another that looked like a jackal, another like a cat, one like a lion, and one with a snake-like face and scaly skin, all of them had white eyes without irises, giving them a dead-like appearance.

"Sir, allow me to deal with them... please wait here."

Zerothiel formed a kind of tall throne from the ground, Uriel sat down to watch the battle.

The five beings began attacking from various angles with white energy that looked like projectiles, however, Zerothiel dodged them effortlessly, as if they were too slow for him, then he disappeared and appeared behind the jackal and with his hand turned into a long sword, he split him in half.

The other beings were surprised at how easily he did it, but that same being regenerated instantly while letting out a mocking laugh.

"Do you really think it'll be easy to kill the lord of the dead? Let me show you hell... inferior being."

That avatar, who seemed to be a fallen god of death, summoned a horde of undead — skeletons, zombies, and even vampires that looked powerful.

The effects of accelerated growth are active//

"Let me give you a hand, Zero...

You said you would show us hell... Let me show you a real hell by opening the gates to the dark world... lord fallen god."

Uriel's right hand rose to the sky, while his left hand rested on the throne; then, in the sky, a red portal opened, emanating an incredible darkness that even darkened the whole place. From that portal came a horde of demons of all kinds, two of these demons were giants in full armor, with huge horns and massive swords and shields; both demons, upon emerging from the portal, fell behind where Uriel sat, as if protecting his throne, making a huge crash as they landed.

"All of you, attack the undead, I'll take care of the others... do not let these wretches even touch our lord Uriel, or you'll pay for it personally."

Sitting on a kind of throne with two giants at his right and left, those avatars saw a terrifying being who could summon other evil beings to assist him. They were stunned by what they were witnessing and overwhelmed by the sound emitted by the portal as it opened. The sight was terrifying for them, for there was an enormous and dreadful portal above their heads from which countless beings of a true hell were emerging.

For the first time in a long while, they felt the fear of truly disappearing. They knew that the one sitting on that throne was actually someone dangerous. Moreover, another terrifying gaze was fixed upon them. Without warning, one of the avatars vanished, turning into sand. Zerothiel then explained.

"It's not the first time I've faced beings of your nature. Even among the ranks of Abbadom, there are demons without physical bodies, but with a core, it was only a matter of finding it."

Upon seeing this, those beings tried to flee the place, but Zerothiel did not allow it... he invoked a kind of dark barrier that prevented their escape.

That avatar of the fallen god of death looked around only to realize that all his summoned beings had fallen at the hands of those summoned by the one sitting on that dark throne, falling to his knees in helplessness.

"Who is this?"

"Such insolence, however, I will tell you briefly, he is the one who deserves to rule it all and also the new supreme lord of Abbadom."
