5 years Time Skip — Graduation Season. Team Selection.
Indra sat calmly at his desk. Beside him, Himawari fidgeted nervously, her fingers tightly clasped together.
Please let me be on the same team as Indra-kun… please let me be on the same team as Indra-kun… she prayed silently.
The other students were nervous as well. After all, having good teammates would greatly affect their future as shinobi.
At that moment, Shino-sensei walked into the classroom.
"Alright, students. I will now announce the team placements. Be ready," he said in his usual authoritative tone.
Everyone straightened their backs, waiting eagerly.
Indra ignored most of the names being called, only paying attention to teams that seemed relatively important.

Team 5
Leader: Udon Ise
Members: Denki Kaminarimon, Metal Lee, Iwabee Yuino
Before leaving with his team, Iwabee saluted Indra. Indra's mouth twitched slightly while Himawari tried to hold back a laugh—only to receive a light flick on the forehead from Indra.

Team 7
Leader: Konohamaru Sarutobi
Members: Boruto Uzumaki, Sarada Uchiha, Mitsuki
The three stood and walked toward their sensei.
"Huh? I didn't know you were going to be our team leader, Big Bro Konohamaru!" Boruto exclaimed.
"That's Konohamaru-sensei, you brat!" Konohamaru snapped, lightly chopping Boruto on the head.
"Ow! What was that for?!" Boruto protested, clutching his forehead.
Sarada gave Indra a small nod before following Boruto and Mitsuki out.
Mitsuki paused briefly at the door, glancing around the classroom. His gaze lingered on Indra for a moment, as if searching for something, but finding nothing, he quietly followed his team.

Leader: Moegi Kazamatsuri
Members: Shikadai Nara, Inojin Yamanaka, Chōchō Akimichi
They left calmly with their sensei.

Team 15
Leader: Hanabi Hyūga
Members: Sumire Kakei, Wasabi Izuno, Namida Suzumeno
Hanabi waved and winked at Himawari before leaving.
Himawari happily waved back at her aunt.

Team 25
Leader: Sai Yamanaka
Members: Hōki Taketori, Hako Kuroi, Renga Kokubō
After they left, only Indra and Himawari remained in the classroom.
They looked at each other in confusion.
Shino-sensei cleared his throat.
"Indra, Himawari — your sensei will be waiting at Training Ground 9. You will be Team 9. Your ."Your remaining teammate will already be there."
He paused slightly.
"Your team leader is Kakashi Hatake—the Sixth Hokage. Show proper respect."
Both of their eyes widened, no way!!! kakashi hatake both of them thought at the same time.
With that, Shino-sensei left.
Without another word, Indra and Himawari used Body Flicker and headed toward Training Ground 9.

When they arrived, they saw two white-haired figures.
One was, of course, Kakashi Hatake, the Sixth Hokage.
The other was an unfamiliar boy.
He had silver-white hair and faint paint-like markings on his face. His brown eyes were energetic. What stood out the most was the Senju clan emblem on his outfit. One shoulder had the word Toad written on it, and the other had Slug.
"So you've arrived," Kakashi said casually, closing his Icha Icha book and giving them a closed-eye smile. "I'll be your sensei. Nice to meet you."
"And this will be your teammate — Misao Senju."
Senju?
Indra and Himawari both their eyes widen in surprise and shock
After all that clan was declared extinct and the only living member was tsunade.
And it's one of the founding clans of the village.

A few minutes later, the three students sat in front of Kakashi.
"Alright, let's introduce ourselves so we can get to know each other better," Kakashi said with a relaxed smile. "Himawari, you can start."
"Huh? Me? Oh… okay."
She took a small breath.
"My name is Himawari Uzumaki. I like my family, ramen, and working toward my goals."
She glanced briefly at Indra. Kakashi noticed but said nothing.
"My dream is to become the strongest female shinobi."
The others clapped lightly.
"That's an ambitious goal," Kakashi said. "I believe you can achieve it."
"Thank you, Sensei," Himawari said with a polite bow.
"Alright! My turn!" the white-haired boy said enthusiastically.
Indra paid closer attention. A Senju hadn't appeared in canon history like this.
"My name is Misao Senju. I like my mother, Tsunade, listening to stories about my father, Jiraiya, and my sister, Shizune."
Wait… what?
Indra's thoughts stalled.
Himawari blinked in surprise. The legendary Sannin had children?
Kakashi, however, remained calm, as if he had known this from the beginning.
"My dream is to become a shinobi like my great-grandfather, Hashirama."
They clapped again.
"If you want to reach that level, you'll have to work harder than anyone," Kakashi said casually. "The First Hokage was known as the God of Shinobi for a reason."
Indra barely heard the rest.
This isn't a small change…
He had expected slight deviations from canon not something like this.
But not the less he should have expected something like this because in this 5 years in school he noticed that the main cast's strength has increased far more than their original canon self. Although they still felt like children in front of him.
His future was becoming less predictable by the day.
In the end, one conclusion remained clear.
Only strength would give him peace of mind.
He needed to train harder.
