Chapter 2 - George Droyd

Voices echoed in the distance as a figure lay on an operating table, a white cloth draped over their body.

A middle-aged man's voice resonated: "Bill, we've found the perfect subject for our NygroTek AI. He's 99% compatible with it."

"Is that so? Approximately how much fent will this droid run on, Elon?" Bill asked, his voice aged but curious.

"We haven't put him through the fent reactor yet, Bill," Elon replied with a smirk, clearly proud of his discovery. "But I estimate he'll handle the dosage of 100 people."

"Then what are you waiting for? Put him in the fent reactor," Bill said, his tone filled with anticipation.

Elon gestured to the doctors, signaling them to grab the test subject and insert him into the fent reactor.

The doctors approached the figure on the table, swiftly removing the white cloth. Beneath it was a dark-skinned individual with pronounced facial features.

"It's George," one doctor murmured.

Without hesitation, the doctors grabbed the operating table and pushed it toward a machine that resembled an oversized flashlight. They slid George into the device, and nearby technicians began operating the controls.

"Fent reactor booting up," a robotic voice echoed through the chamber, drawing the attention of everyone present.

"Booting sequence successful. The fent reactor is ready. Please press the button to proceed," the voice instructed.

A doctor near the reactor pressed the button. The machine began rotating clockwise, its mechanical hum filling the lab.

"Fent reactor activated!"

The numbers on the monitor crept upward as a doctor watched with wide eyes.

"This is magnificent!" Elon exclaimed, awe evident in his voice.

"Indeed it is," Bill agreed, marveling at the spectacle.

"Quick! Insert the robotic components into the fent reactor!" another doctor shouted.

The doctor stationed near the reactor swiftly loaded metallic components into the top of the machine.

"Hahaha! This is incredible! The fent levels are off the charts—far beyond what normal humans can withstand! We're witnessing the birth of a droid!" Elon exclaimed, trembling with excitement.

As the reactor approached 90%, the lab's white lights turned red, and alarms blared. Smoke began seeping from the machine.

"Sir! This is his limit! If we go further, he might overdose!" a doctor yelled, frantically typing calculations into the computer.

Elon's expression turned grave. He sighed and reached to halt the process, but Bill interrupted.

"No... we keep going, no matter what," Bill said firmly.

Elon whipped his head toward Bill. "Are you out of your mind? This is a human being!" he snapped, his anger barely contained.

"He feels nothing. He's dead, and he'll stay dead if we stop here. We're building the first droid—a being superior to humans. A droid that requires only fent to survive," Bill declared, rallying the team to continue.

Meanwhile, the alarms grew louder, and smoke poured from the reactor as it groaned under the strain.

Elon and Bill watched the monitor intently, their nerves stretched thin.

"If this succeeds, I'll visit Mark personally," Elon muttered. "Together, we'll revolutionize humanity's future."

"Operation successful," the robotic voice announced.

The lab erupted into cheers, their mission accomplished. They had created the first-ever droid—a groundbreaking leap for technology.

As the excitement subsided, Elon addressed the team.

"Welcome our new droid: George Droyd!"

The room erupted into another round of cheers as they celebrated the dawn of a new era—George Droyd, the first of his kind.
