In a certain dark castle in the Vorde continent, a serene ageless beauty with flowing white hair sat in a garden tending to some of exotic plants the garden had to offer.
However, her hands paused just as she was about to trim the stalk of a flower. For some reason she was having an extremely bad premonition. Something in her was telling her something was wrong.
As if to fuel her sudden anxiety, a man suddenly appeared before her with his head bowed, kneeling on one knee.
"What is it?" She asked calmly, betraying no hint of her inner turmoil.
The man spoke in an extremely fearful and stammering voice.
"F...f...forgive me your highness, the young prince's life lantern has gone out."
Yvonne froze.
For the next few moments she kept opening her mouth but no sound came out, while the kneeling middle aged man continued to tremble. He genuinely feared the Empress' reaction, but upon raising his head, he saw that she was no longer there.
"....Your highness?"
