The grinning creature suddenly raised one of it's hands and swung it at the side of the airship.
BANG!
The airship instantly shattered into five distinct pieces the moment the creature struck it, disorienting and spewing everyone out miles above sea level.
Thankfully, since the Remea continent was an archipelagic continent, they were falling towards the sea and not the land. Even though, almost everyone tried as much as they could to slow down their descent, except for that one person.
Damon's limp and unconscious body fell towards the sea like a meteor falling through the atmosphere. It took quite a few seconds of falling uncontrollably before four figures simultaneously swerved and change directions mid air, angling their bodies to fall rapidly towards Damon.
"What the hell happened to him?!" Dion who hadn't been in the cockpit shouted.
"That thing targeted him specifically!" Aric replied. The other two falling towards Damon were Rose and Anastasia.
